Bloodline Ability: Immense Swordsmanship talent. Not really a kekkei genkai, but rather a common trait among those of this bloodline. The Nakatas are extremely skilled and potent swordsman who possesses the self-proclaimed "strongest and oldest sword style". All members learn this sword style and are able to utilize to a degree its powerful techniques. This sword style is known as "Shinshikata" (Way of the Heart) and is distinctive and unique to each member. This sword style brings out the full potential of the user. Each Nakata will develop their own variation and interpretation of the sword style, which reflects off of the Nakata's "heart". They're able to forge into any blade their blade, essentially turning any sword that a Nakata has into the best for them. Along with unrivaled Kenjutsu prowess, the Nakata also carries an impressive level of swiftness, celerity, and precision that any master swordsman would have.

Shinshikata (Way of the Heart) ~ Ryuho's style with this involves the use of two dual swords with two different functions. Ambidextrous, Shunsui attacks with greater power with one hand and a swifter speed with the other hand. He tends to change each hand's function in order to catch his opponents off guard. In combat, he deals blows almost faster than the human eye can see, with perfect precision and great striking power. He can easily overwhelm his opponents; breaking down their defense, unnerving them on a psychological level, and/or provoke them to go on an all-out offense, where he may or may not deal the finishing blow. He exploits mistakes and weaknesses in an opponent's battle style, analyzing it very carefully.
Generally, he tends to downplay himself and not go all-out, preferring a lazy way of fighting. He is a pacifist, and will do all he can to not kill his opponent. He combines sweet, persuasive words for peace and surrender with a defensive offensive as his strategy to win fights.
With Takashi, he's able to utilize special abilities with it through the Shinshikata. Chakra flown into the blade will disappear into it so the technique can be used.
Clan History:The Nakata clan existed well before the time of Rikudou Sennin. A clan of swordsmen, they've devoted their lives to the arts of swordsmanship for many centuries. They often called upon themselves to serve under a daimyo - thus most of the clan men were samurai. During their service, they would either serve in war or train people in Kenjutsu. Their founder was a Nakata whose name no one can remember. The ancestor was a women; a samurai of unrivaled talent and potential, back when it was highly frowned upon for woman to lift a sword. She possessed the strongest sword style at the time; the Shinshikata. She passed down her set of swords, Takashi, down to her son, who passed it down to his son, etc. Each son became the leader of the Nakata. Each generation sharpened their blades and the Shinshikata, to the point that it became more free-form each time. The Nakata rever the Shinshikata as not only the most powerful, but the oldest sword style. Today, the owner of the Takashi is not the leader of the clan, but the strongest of them; Ryuho Mikoto Nakata.
