Drawback This ability comes with cost of berserk episodes.
Whether or not your character goes berserk be up to dice roll.  Every time you are hit or face something that affects emotions and you want to restrain yourself the dice is rolled (one per instance). Getting hit multiple times in the same post will count as once instance.  Every time the dice is rolled you need the next number higher and higher to succeed.  Success will be not transforming.

D-Rank , you must role a 8 or higher to succeed.
C-Rank you must role a 7 or higher to succeed.
B+Rank, you must role a 6 or higher to succeed.

After your in level one and still want to restrain the process repeats.


This problem can be managed by training 1000+ words at Ryuchi cave. Training must happen over the course of at least a week. You must role play your discovery of Ryuchi Cave this doesn't count towards training.  Training is meant to gain self control for situations where one doesn’t want to transform.
Berserk mode: This is not a jutsu but state of emotion where the individual's bloodlust rises and their personality changes to an extreme.  This change negatively impacts their judgment prior to training. During this state the untrained are reckless, will likely negatively impact, and the mission.  This is a symptom of natural energies effect on the body of clan members. However they are at their strongest at this point.  
Before training will cause perception to be lowered. Genin are a danger to all including allies. Chunin are a danger to allies they haven't role-played with. The exception would be if they are feeling negative emotions toward ally. Jonin+ are not a danger to allies.

After training: Perception is enhanced 4.5x average (those who don’t have basic are average). Genin are not a danger to allies, if they know of the other person. For example they have seen each other around the village... Chuunin and higher are capable of restraint.
At any given time members can choose to stop restraining themselves and transform to either level if they are of the required rank.


Secret Clan Jutsu:
Sennin transformation
Lvl 1 can be used be all ranks
Description User gather natural energy creating a dark pattern on their body that varies with user.  In this form user is able to apply natural energy to their techniques and their taijutsu is powered up what would be equal to a half mastery level. If they are trained they will gain a sensory level that is capped at master.
Lvl 2 Sp Jonin+ and trained Chunin
DescriptionThe user gathers more natural energy allowing them to change their body into a monster like form.  This ability can't allow the user to grow more than five inches.  Going into this state voluntarily before training will cause user to go berserk. User gains full mastery level of taijutsu. If they are trained they will gain a sensory level that is capped at master.
Partial Transformations: The body will gain the appearance of level one and access to 1 or 2 appendages from level 2.  The point is a higher degree of self-control while access to the appendages of level two and some of the jutsu.  This must be trained for 500 words

Note the difference between levels is the difference between master and adept.

Clan History: This clans ability originates from Ryuuchi Cave. Before the ninja system the other clans of the times called them the Berserker clan. Originally the clan made there home near Ryuchi cave. The clan had no formal structure or hierarchy but this clan was prone to fighting. Many of the members would wonder around the region picking fights with other clans and animals. Sometime after the ninja system when Ninja stopped fighting amongst themselves they gathered together and started a war that caused many of this clans members to die and scatter. Later clan members would think that snakes or Ryuchi cave cursed them. And that their clan had received this cursed power by making a home on the Ryuchi cave grounds. Only the snakes and perhaps a hidden villages deepest archives hold the knowledge of this clans name.

Note that those who get Sage sensory mastery increases 2 stages
I feel like we talked about this but I forgot, this doesn't go past mastery right?

This ability comes with cost of berserk episodes. The more fighting, emotion, or dangerous the thread is the more likely the character will go berserk. Those who are not trained will go beserk Genin in C-rank+ mission will go berserk Chuunin can potentially berserk at C but will at B+ Same pattern with other ranks

This problem can be managed by training 1000+ words at Ryuchi cave. Training must happen over the course of at least a week. After training Genin will not go berserk for C ranked mission Chuunin for B Jonin for A. Sranked missions will eventually cause berserk state to Srank shinobi but they will able curtail it.
So I see that on mission topics you go berzerk but that ain't much of a drawback. Make it where if you are in a topic with one or more shinobi of higher rank you can also go berzerk mode.

1000 words for each rank or how does this work? Lemme explain what I told you on the cbox homie.
Genin- 1000 words to master berzerk mode (or however you're foing it)
Chuunin- 1.5k
Spec jounin- 2k
Jounin+- 3.5k

And you have to do this for each rank you go up but if you start at a higher rank you only have to do the WC equal to the rank you applied for.

On top of what Joker added, Juugo does not posses the sage mode Naruto, Jiraiya and Kabuto are capable of. However, he can use natural energy to alter his body and strength. You wouldn't receive all the same benefits as Sage Mode. After extensive research of Juugo, it is clear that his transformation simply offers a boost in strength similar to that of Sage Mode. In other words Sage Mode =\= Sage Transformation

They don't train more for every rank. They train once. Why would someone of higher rank take more training?

Templates for what there is no range rank chakra type hand signs. level one is litteraly changing part of the body to level two.

Senjutsu does more at lesser rank then normal techniques

Ill add more to Kusari and chakra Cannon

I don't remember what I was saying about jet booster but will get to that as well

That's the thing though. Your access of natural energy would only intensify taijutsu capabilities. Doesn't apply to a sage mode as all as it was just a loose translation due to lazy English editors. Sage mode =/= Sage transformation. The only thing they have in common is access to natural energy.

Right the do not equal. I can take out that reference to sage mode as not to mislead. But just like sage mode through this ability of passively using natural energy one would be able to to boost the other ninja arts. For example Jugo applied natural energy to Sasuke's Susasno

You should incorporate a better system for going berserk instead of certain rank missions try a dice roll that depends on the person rank they etc. Also the risk of going berserk is hardly a drawback when you can simply train your way around it.

eats flesh to heal yourself? not sure how this applies to senjutsu and even so its would be a medical technique and you'll need some sort of iijutsu skill.

hey bud, to solve this issue why not change the name to natural energy absorption/body manip clan instead of sage mode? They way things can be defined a little easier and there will be no arguing about the similarities and differences between Naruto and jugo. Jugo isnt a sage but he still uses natrual energy to boost his abilities and change his body. Make it so that when they are in this said berserk mode that they can only use non elemental nin/tai (chakra cannons is nin, regular fighting is tai, making an axe on the arm imo is nin and tai so yea) So basically when they are using clan techs they cant use any other type of elemental stuff or whatever. THAT would be a good weakness. Jugo did use the needle thing, but that is canon. Healing others is http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Cellular_Regeneration_Ejection but that requires curse seals. your chakra blast cannon is http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Multiple_Lotus_Nonself_Connected_Cannons and your needle thing is http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Rebirth_Absorption. You need to use the actual canon jutsu in this template, study jugo more, use his canon jutsu, then maybe add in a few customs yourself. Jugo's sage transformation was all natural not having to focus so he cant really control it until at higher ranks. Use the dice roll, and have a higher range of numbers a ninja can get if they are at a higher rank and vice versa. Never called it Sage Mode and had removed references

The burden of no elements is to heavy of anchor. Jugo had three elements and I don't think this was something he could not use with while transformed. I do see the value or merit or what I can't describe of your proposed weakness

the no using jutsu while in transformed state was just a suggestion for the weakness, maing it easier for you to work around it, so once you read the databook and edit ill come back and check.

you know what is also needed? How much nature energy one can hold before they berserk and such. I think that needs to be the same as the rank the user is, so when you use one of the transformation things it takes from the nature energy side, and when nature energy is added to techs to increase their strength it takes from both pools.

All I can say to that is that if someone makes else make it for Sage Mode I'll adapt. I want to keep it simple it a simple dice roll. No separate chakra pools, unless someone else makes the system. Like its so often stated its not sage mode, therefore he doesn't need gather certain amounts. So for its pull from regular chakra and im cool with that.  I wanted to give the clan Jinchiraki's to functions as the extra natural energyl chakra pool but figured that it would be asking to much. If Im not mistaken to add natural energy to other techniques it the user pays an additional rank of chakra

"Clan members will get an increased base chakra pool and Jinchuuriki Chakra Pool while using natural energy. When they stop using natural energy there chakra pool will be equal to percent of chakra consumed in their transformed state. For example if while transformed you have 300 chakra you used 90% then upon transforming back you have 26 chakra."

Sensory - I am frankly not understanding why you are receiving a +1 to sensory just because you went and trained so that you were no longer at a threat of going berserk. 

Perception - You mentioned that before training, that perception shall be lowered when an individual is in berserk mode, but you never state by how much. You should definitely add it in. As for the sudden boost in perception, Imma assumed you doubled it, if this is the case, that's technically going over master since all masters have a 2.5x to their skill.

Rebirth Absorption - You are gonna need a charge up time or better duration or something. Because you can literally bring yourself from the brink of death by absorbing somebody else. On top of that, bump the rank. I should also add that depending upon the injury, post should go up. Iryō Ninjutsu skill required. This may be canon, but that doesn't mean you can heal yourself willy-nilly with this technique.

Cellular Regeneration - Number of post should go up depending on the injury. Gonna need a Iryō Ninjutsu skill. This may be canon, but that doesn't mean you can heal people willy-nilly with this technique.

Chakra Transfer - But why? You need to give a better explanation than because they can.
