The Mizukage sate in a rowboat with the two ANBU and the Genin. Kouketsu and the ANBU he assigned his task, had been rowing the boat along the oceans to the Land of the Rivers. It was quite close to Amegakure, a village Kouketsu admired and favored second to his own village. Most of all he just liked the forehead protector symbol. Four straight lines representing the Rain Village. Simple and effective. Disregarding the thought, he began to think about whether the others had been in any fights. He knew he'd have to count on all of them to keep each other safe. That was, if anyone tried to harm one another in the Festival.

"Has anyone been in any serious fights? Meaning, ones you could die in...."

Kouketsu looked onward at the endless stream of ocean, as did the silent ANBU. They both knew their shared hardships and how they came to be their respective ranks. Each watching the back of the other in serious fights. Still rowing the boat along, Kouketsu waited for an honest answer.

Khala glanced up at the man who she had to address as Mizukage, the one person who ruled the village known as Kiri with an iron fist, as he broke the silence that had been established between the four since boarding the boat. She had felt that there was some wordless agreement to not speak with one another during the trip to River Country, but now that the Mizukage had spoken, it meant that she read the entire thing wrong. Or at least she assumed she had read it wrong, though the Kage could had broken the silent agreement due to boredom creeping into his veins. Either way, the broken silence was not something she welcomed with open arms. For the end of silence meant that she would have to speak, for ignoring the Mizukage was not an option.

She sighed deeply, closing her eyes and folding her arms across her chest. A slight frown crossed her face as she went into thought, delving deep into her past to see if there was ever a time that she had been in a life or death situation. Surprisingly enough, she had not. Yes her family had fallen victim to a group of bandits, but she herself was never in any real danger of death. And even if she had been, there would not have been any fight Thus the number of encounters that could be chucked into the life or death category was zero. And thus her answer would bear the conclusion she had come to. For with a deep breath and the reopening of her eyes, Khala answered. "I have not had the pleasure of being in a serious battle. The ones I have found myself in are usually one-sided and do not in any way threaten my well-being."

As the last words flew from her mouth, Khala grew quiet, turning her gaze from the Mizukage to the surrounding waters. She waited for the others that occupied the boat to answer the question.

It had taken longer than Khala had expected, having spent quite a deal of time on a boat before traversing through a forest in order to get to River Country. She really should had stayed home, but she was finally there. Though the thoughts of being able to live within a time where peace had been withhold for an entire century, she had not found herself smiling. Instead she walked through the gates with a frown upon her face as she readied herself for the grueling week she would have to spend within the country before she could go home.

[Using the 48 hour rule. Thus Khala has exit the thread and has arrived in River Country]

Noting the silence of the other ANBU operative, Kouketsu would slightly smile at the young one's words and continued rowing. Once they had actually hit shore, he watched the ,seemingly to be, anxious girl step out of the boat and continue forward. They had arrived and it was time to make his entrance. Whether or not anyone new the Crimson Eyed Kiri Ninja, didn't matter. This was a festival of peace and that was exactly what Kouketsu firmly believed he could achieve.

He trailed the girl assuming the others would follow behind in step. He looked back and saw his personal ANBU step out first. Ready at any minute to defend the kage.

[Sorry, thought Prisoner would post. Exit]
