- Spoiler:
His skin is fairly smooth considering he is still young, but it also harbors no scars, since he isn't much of a fighter. His limbs are scaled well to his body and none are awkwardly longer than the other or just long for his body. Lastly, his voice sounds like a typical teens, occasionally his voice may crack though, thanks to puberty and being a teen experiencing it.
Personality Description:
Hikaru likes to live his life more like a side kick or adviser and that's exactly what he does when he isn't busy cracking jokes with his companion Junpei. Unlike the latter mentioned, Hikaru bears book smarts and is very knowledgeable. He has picked up a thing or two however from his Senpai and is turning into quite the formidable ninja.
Being one that likes to be an assistant rather than the man calling shots, Hikaru isn't much of a fighter or a hothead. He feels most battles are avoidable and can usually find the correct way out of them and find solutions most don't think of. Of course being around Junpei battle isn't very avoidable seeing as he is addicted to killing whether it have reason or be pointless. With Hikaru being more level headed and reasonable, he tires to keep himself around Junpei to help him avoid getting into too much trouble and help him make smarter decisions. His Senpai has seemed to notice that the young cohort makes smart choices and often consults him before making decisions and shares to him what's on his mind.
When Hikaru isn't busy covering Junpei's traces and saving his ass, he can be found perfecting his craft or enjoying what life has to offer. In his eyes those things are Fuinjutsu and nature. Inevitably those things are what he is talented at, with him being what most would consider a spiritual being. He isn't very holy or anything of the sort, but he can be philosophical at times, but underneath all that he's still a prankster and like a little brother when around Junpei.

History:
Hikaru was born in the village hidden in the Snow, Yukigakure. There he was raised like any other child that would grow up to be a ninja. His father was a wise, but very ill man and his mother was just a woman trying to care for her husband, but at the same time her son. When he wasn't busy studying, he would often stay in his fathers room regardless of what his mother told him and he would listen to the things he would say in his sleep or talk to him when he was awake. This is where the roots of Hikaru's knowledge of life and levelheadedness came from.
Slipping through the Ninja Academy and becoming an average Genin, Hikaru was content with just that, but his mother pushed him to do better. She knew he had potential to be better than he was allowing himself to be, but he felt he was good where he was. His father also knew he could be better than he was, so he began teaching him Fuinjutsu when he could. Hikaru seemed to have a nack for the art and being intelligent for his age, he had no problem with picking up and understanding the matrixes and things of the sort.
His knowledge in the advanced style lead many eyes to look in his direction and he was quickly assigned a personal sensei, so they could continue to build upon the childs talent. He wasn't very fond of it and knew he was only being looked upon for his talents in Fuinjutsu and that he would only be used by his village. His father agreed, but reminded him that's what every ninja was. Simply a tool for their village meant to serve their Kage and make their home prosper. Swallowing the sour tasting pill, Hikaru continued his training and was eventually accepted as a Chunin.
No exams were taken, just one day he was informed he had graduated. He knew why it was, but like his father had told him, he again bit the bullet and continued his career as a ninja. He was very effective in almost every aspect of being a ninja, especially his communication and situational skills, but too skilled. So skilled, that he saw no reasoning behind missions that involved combat or conflict with humans of any sort. This is when he was assigned a new Sensei, this one fresh from Kirigakure, his name Junpei Hozuki. No matter the reasoning behind it, this man would complete his task, no questions asked. This mans task was to crack Hikaru's shell and awaken a side he had not yet exposed to the world.
Of course the young ninja wasn't enthusiastic about this at all, seeing as he was partnered with a murderer with questionable hobbies, in hopes that he too would become corrupted, but his fathers words echoed throughout his head still and made him suck it up. Slowly Hikaru got into the groove of things, but with a sour taste in his mouth the whole time. Junpei noticed the feeling of disgust that Hikaru was experiencing and it was then that the Demon's heart began to thaw. Allowing the Chunin to not participate in the acts of murder, but still reporting in saying the ninja was making progress.
Knowing that Junpei was doing this, Hikaru felt as if he was burdening the Anbu member, but ironically Junpei was happy he got to shed all the blood and none of it bothered him at all. He actually found it easier completing the task by himself, rather than having to work Hikaru up to get him to harm or even kill. In a sort of accidental reverse psychology way, the guilt Hikaru felt from Junpei continuously lying, had edged the teen to step into the shadows and become a well rounded ninja.
Recently Hikaru has abandoned his village and has become Junpei's right hand man on his conquest of gathering the Seven Swords of the Mist. Now a rogue to the Land of the Snow, Hikaru doesn't really feel bad about it, nor does he feel good. He still stays in touch with his family of course and writes frequently sending funds for his fathers medicine and checking up on them.
