Jacques : Faceless, Peerless, Faithless V128

Height:
6'
Weight: 180
Hair color: Black
Eye Color: Hazel

Looks Description:
Standing a bit broad shouldered, Jacques is the epitome of a normal man. Without great height or width, he's a shadow mingling in with a group of individuals. He don's regular clothing hoping to mingle in with the commoners and seek refuge with the proles of his village. When he's out in the crowds he wears nicer clothing a beige jacket with a V-neck coal black shirt covered up with a forest green scarf, a pair of jeans, and of course loafers to complete the ensemble. His dress carries over from the way he was raised always privileged but with a certain savoir faire. It's this ability to adapt with people and crowds that made him the killer that everyone feared. The caveat being that only a handful of people are aware of him being an Anbu. Without his uniform marking him as one and the fact that he seldom wears anything denoting rank, Others simply assume he's some passerby. With a penchant to walk about in the village square with a lackadaisical gait it's no wonder that others peg him as a laid back good for nothing layabout. It's only on missions that he wears his uniform. That's when he drops the charade and a beast is unleashed. When on the hunt he wears all black his mask lining his face he hones in on his mark.

As a man grows older he's bound to receive a marking or two that might distinguish him as a ruffian of sorts. Especially in work such as this. The few scars that mar his otherwise mark free body would be a scar running along his left hand digits. Starting from the right index finger moving in a slightly askew angle towards his pinky making each of his finger's noticeable if someone paid enough attention to notice. The only other scar being a self inflicted one. A triangle he engraved into his chest on his nineteenth nameday. This one being seen by only one other person in the world who still yet lives.

With a face as unremarkable as the rest, Jacques is an enigma trying to remain elusive as an individual. His long black hair framing his sardonic smirk that almost always graces his face. His deep set hazel eyes staring blankly into space, this all changes however when he begins to "work". He ties his hair up and his eyes take an almost sinister appeal to them. He takes all precautions to keep himself hidden from the world and Ipso Facto the people who would try and find out his identity. He maintains a rigorous routine of washing himself almost to the point of OCD. He wears gloves to both cover up his scars and prevent others from touching him directly. It's all for his safety and theirs no one knows when someone might be carrying a pathogen either that or some kind of poison. It's better to be safe than sorry or so the saying goes. That saying however is observed almost religiously for the young ninja.

Jacques : Faceless, Peerless, Faithless Cy10

Personality Description:
Jacques was never a fan of anything growing up resenting practically everything, such is the curse of nobility. They say Noblesse Oblige but Jacques spat on that idea. He hated the poor almost as much as germs. His mother had instilled in him the idea of cleanliness being next to godliness and if anything ever piqued the interest of the young boy it was the idea that some day he may become a god. As he grew so did his ideas of solidarity. He thought that one day he could create something that unifies the world. His family called his ideas frivolous. Yet he knew that one day he could change the world, all it would take would be to find someone who shared his dream. That was the reason he lived he wanted to either create or find a land that everyone was the same. A world where no one was looked down upon. A world full of peace, something that a god could rule. His ideas of the poor at that time were humanistic, seeing the evils of society as the real driving forces of decay and destruction. It was all a symptom of the cult of personality the former leaders of state had placed themselves in. This led Jacques to kindle a revolutionary flame close to his heart. Seeing that he was of perfect disposition Jacques would sneak out and sow seeds of discontent all about the town leading all of the other people to revolt against the current status quo. It was all a beautiful thing. In the flames of his revolution Jacques was made a man.

Jacques sees people as wayward sheep in need of a silent Shepard. Someone who would only interfere in times of great distress, someone who could set the people on the right path and leave them there. Someone who could smile on as the world spins on without a care in the world. This idea of humanity he harbored clearly made it most difficult to kill people but once his switch is flipped he becomes cold and indifferent to the pain and torture the world places on her children. He becomes a maleficent spirit bent on wanton destruction and murder. This being a taxing position for a young man, his personality eventually cracked in two. A caring personality that harbors the love of mankind and a silent killer looking to sink his proverbial fangs into another hunk of disease ridden flesh.

The big problem with his split personality is the Cognitive Dissonance theory, stating that when a person takes an action that is in direct conflict with a held belief the individual will feel down. That could well complicate and create an individual who is depressed and quite ill both mentally and physically. The way Jacques deals with these pent up mental stresses is through meditation and of course cathartic exercises. This is the mentality of a somewhat perturbed young individual. His life slowly piecing itself into a cacophony of lies and half truths. A life where one could lose his head in a split second. Where there's a smile one second the next a knife in your back. And Jacques wouldn't have it any other way.

History: With a birth as unremarkable as the rest, Jacques was born to a well to do family of merchants and artisans. He was the only child of a prominent line of mapmakers from his father's side and his mother's side were glass makers. These two professions were in high demand as mirror making was still a secret art, as was bending glass into certain shapes. Being from a particularly wealthy family left Jacques with the ability most didn't have, the entitlement of a more grandiose education. Having foreigners come in and teach him for months at a time. It was both enlightening and also rather frivolous. It went on like this until his eighth name-day. That was when he was introduced to the family bent. He was sent to his grandfather's study and there he sat as his Granpatron drank his brandy and commented about his lines is where he learned to make maps. Though not with the skill of experience his father or grandfather had, as they had both completed their own Orbis Mundis. A few months later and Jacques was sent to begin his ninja training. Here he went on with a new tradition for the family. His father wanted soldiers to come from the stock of the family so what better soldiers than men trained in the art of deception. While he was there it was quick work to make friends with the children here they had no real problem in defining their status in a sociopolitical hierarchy it was a good place to harness a new mindset one that was capable of including those from spurned families. It was over the two years that he spent in this pseudo utopia where he learned all about stealth and trickery. He was quite adept with sensory seemingly from his work in cartography he would always muse while drawing the outliers for a new map he was starting. He spent his formative years with these people and it was not without warrant he learned much and graduated summa cum laude. He returned to his house where the new curriculum would be both taxing and damning.

Jacques' new spot in the family warranted him to abandon all feeling to the world and be a trained killer. He didn't take to it well but for the next three years trained assassins, instead of mathematicians, were the new teachers for the young boy. He was taught about poisons that would never be detected he was taught how to kill a man without himself or the mark making noise. It was this constant bombardment of both death and killers that slowly jaded the young man that lead to his psyche breaking. It was at the time when he knew almost all he could about the art of assassination when he decided to pull a Genghis Khan. When night had closed in after dusk had slowly slipped away with the sun. Jacques crept through the house seeking his target. He crept into his father's room a look of disgust crossed his face as he saw the man had been drinking. He had been hoping for a face to face encounter with the man. He grimaced as he rifled through a desk near the solar at the other side of the room. He rummaged until his hand rested on a rectangular object held together with a vellum cover. He removed it and slid it under his shirt. He walked over and stood by his father's sleeping form a battle of morals waging full affect in his head. One voice ringing out that no man has the power to decide the fates of others the other lashing out with a harsh voice he made you into a monster show him what you've become. Snap. While his hands rotated the neck of the older gentleman lying in the darkness, something else broke aside from his neck it was Jacques ability to keep his mind in check. He had split himself in two. It was that night he forsook his surname and left that world with only his father's Orbis Mundi and his headband as a token or a reminder of a life he had torn asunder or had lived.

He roamed the lands looking for a new world for him to join into. He traveled for a long time crossing the deserts of his home feeling the heat beat down upon him until he could no longer stand. He collapsed and the world turned dark. The dark lasted for a while it was in this almost comatose state that Jacques began to question his existence. His shattered psyche of two voices constantly speaking back at one another. It was here that he adopted both the persona as himself. They were as much a part of him as his soul was. He awoke in a shack of a local farmer. The man had tended his fields and found the man lying unconscious in the dirt. He carried him home and nursed him back to health. Jacques in a situation where he had nothing to give to his guardian angel. Until he remembered something. He removed the Vellum covered book of maps and offered it to the man as payment. The farmer shook his head and offered him a few water skins. Jacques excepted most humbly asking if there were anything he could do for the man. As the reaping season was drawing to a close, the old farmer asked if Jacques could stay and help reap the beans and squash with him. Jacques obliged without a hesitation and he spent the next few weeks in the company of the most selfless man he had ever met. It was after learning of this man that he had a new outlook on life. Men were not really beasts, they were made into beasts. Like he was. Stearc stayed another few years helping the old man, sowing when the time came and reaping at the end. It was a holistically beautiful experience the circular aspect of life was both off putting and spiritual in itself. His last year however he gave the old man all the money he had been given while working for him. He left the man after they had cleared the rest of his acreage of the crops. Stearc along with the bequeathed water skins started his trek towards the capital of the city.

Jacques took a leisurely pace knowing all to well the seriousness of the desert heat. He rationed the water out and made decent time sometimes taking a few moments to sketch down the surrounding area on the few blank pages in his father's book. He finally arrived in Sunagakure and stood at the gates the sheer magnitude of the moment quieted even the voices in his head. He had lived in a bigger village but nothing amounted to the sheer size of this place he was standing. He stepped through the gate's entrance his headband showing he was a citizen and a ninja of the territory. He was eighteen by this point in time. He meandered through looking around the place had seemed so much smaller as a child. He pondered that idea as a he sat down near a fountain. No doubt this area had some impressive irrigation system set up. It was here that he was approached by a local jounin asking if he was the new chunnin. Jacques agreed easily bluffing the young officer. He moved through the streets following the young man. He arrived in the Kage's office where he was detailed with a mission where he was tasked to take down a group of ninja who had been trafficking narcotics into the city. Jacques found this a great time to show off his abilities for tracking. He followed the chakra signs that he had been invested with. He walked on with an entourage of jounin ready to crack skulls and ensure this would never happen again. They arrived on the outskirts of the village in a sunken sand dune almost to the point of a caldera. They stood at the rim and off the jounin went as soon as they saw the target. The man was detained in a few moments. It was at this point that Jacques began to see the appeal in working with these people. So he worked hard did what was requested of him and eventually wound up with a spot in the anbu ops. It was here that his skills in subterfuge and murder excelled against every other individual.

He was twenty three when he was given a mission to watch an organization closely. It was a deep sting operation. He took the corpse of a village ninja with the express permission of the kage and was sent to infiltrate the group of misfits. The body was of no one important. It was instilled with a genjutsu to show it coming from a family of skilled ninja. He arrived at the forward operating base of the organization and strolled in carrying the body of course sentries had seen him from afar and had notified others of his arrival. When he stepped through the gates he was met on the point of a sword. Jacques stood with a coy smile splayed about his face as he dropped the sack in front of the aggressors and sat down hand's interlocked behind his head. It was a few weeks after when he was met with the other inside man, a man by the name of Isaac, the two of them were bonded by the heat of deception. It was in this situation that the two of them began to send messages out to the village the two of them orchestrated the fall of a minor criminal organization. It was at this point that Jacques was made leader of the Anbu ops, at the behest of the Kage. With his mask upon his face Jacques began his descent into a realm of dishonesty and death. All the while a smile underneath underlying his horrid humors.

Stearc watched on as the man to his side gave a smirk. Stearc's nerves already on the fray began to splinter even further, this man gave off an eerie feeling. Stearc wasn't exactly put off by it but it was a strange thing to do when posed with a question. Stearc shifted from foot to foot nervously awaiting an answer, his bent in full sway he felt Isaac's chakra level yet something still felt off from the building. He gazed at the building. It's haven surely a godsend to those who had been hurt. To others however, say prisoner's or expatriates, surely this was far from a happy place for them. Stearc's neurophysical symptoms flared up again as the man gave his answer though it was far from the kindly greeting he was expecting. His body shook as he felt like a fool. He had forgotten to give his name! "S..Sorry sir" he spoke as he bowed. "My name is Stearc Eskaru," he would say after a moment's pause to steel himself against the ice cold feeling working itself up from his spine spreading out amongst his body, He grabbed his coat and drew it closer about his frame savoring the warmth in the already unbearable heat. "No, I was not given an order I'm a sensor I felt that you were a jounin, and from the way you were looking at the building I assumed you were having trouble so ..." Stearc began to trail off as he noticed a new figure a man. It seemed as if the man had appeared from nowhere. Slightly taken aback Stearc took a few steps backwards. Rightfully embarrassed of the less than manly show of fortitude Stearc would step back to place.

His bent still active, Stearc noted a few chakra emanations wafting from the man's bag. It was about that time when eh asked for an eye transplant. Stearc simply nodded precariously as he was neither well prepared or well versed in such a thing. Yet the jounin to the side of him had no qualms in the new figure that had presented himself. Stearc noting the man's hat and lack of chakra thought this would be a good time for him to stow his tongue and follow the orders of the higher ranking officer. It was then that the man divulged he was the former Master Medic for Sunagakure. Stearc looked over eyes wide and once again bit his tongue as the newly introduced Isaac agreed to transplant the eyes. Stearc spoke up noting it would be rude not to give his name as well. Stearc bowed to the man as was customary back in his home when meeting someone "I'm Stearc Eskaru, in lieu of medical training I'm simply an above par sensor." He stated with some reluctance his own resume not really a standing example against Isaac's. It was then he remembered his hometown tradition and up righted himself looking quite abashed, what a backward custom.

His eyes fell as he thought about his beautifully simple village for a split second the smell of burning flesh that had polluted the usual aromatic air. Walking in to see the burned corpses of families who had days prior bid him farewell and a good hunt. Bodies strung up on the walls of their home's their stomach's torn open for the bird's of prey to feast on them as carrion, and of course the longest night of his life. The night he buried and stood watch to keep the animals from digging the bodies back up. His last respect payed to the people who cared for him. He looked back up and steeled himself against his shivering body taking residence in the fact he may be meeting with the Hokage himself. He bowed once more and awaited the next move of the greater ninjas in his presence.

Isaac spoke to the Hokage once more and motioned for them to follow him. Stearc not willing to dismiss a direct order followed on, of course giving the Kage his due diligence Stearc stood and waited for the Kage to first enter the hospital. Stearc shrugged as the bag entered his mind once more. It was the Kage's possession and who was Stearc to mettle in a lord's affairs. He would walk in after and be conducted towards the elevators. If everything was moving swimmingly they would all three arrive on the third floor. Stearc waiting until both the jounin and Kage had departed when he would take his turn to step off of the elevator taking in the new surroundings this place was an oddity. It was built with ergonomics in mind but still had a lavish side to it. Plenty of room and plenty of instruments. Stearc noting the jounin was about to prepare for the procedure asked if he would like Stearc to sterilize the equipment while he donned his medical outfit. This was all very routine with Stearc who had been a jack of all trades back in his home. He would often lean up after guerrilla surgeries though none of the tools they had back then were on par with these. However, the cleaning procedure was all the same. After finishing the Stearc would stand and watch the procedure, his eyes moving from every mundane object to the next.
