Origin: The Warden was once an ordinary katana wielded by a cunning, spiteful and malicious samurai who didn't upheld his Bushidō teachings. He slept with his commander's wife and was caught. His commander, in the midst of a bamboo field on the night of the new moon, decapitated him with his own sword and left the blade within the corpse.
The mystic energies of the new moon drained all of the negative emotions and moods of the samurai's soul and trapped them into the blade, turning it black. It was said that his soul became the Warden of the Underworld, and he keeps a metaphysical link with the sword.
That's what the legend says of the nature of the black-bladed katana named The Warden, but none can be so sure. It's old, yet with great sharpness that has said to be able to split a blade of grass in two. It hasn't been used in years, but it is continually sharpened by smiths to prevent dullness.
Chronus received the blade as a gift from the spirit of the last owner, who told him where to find it in his mausoleum. He's had it ever since, and rarely uses it
