She walked through the village for a while, looking at the different objects and things being sold off. She took a moment to stop at a store and look at the small weapons. Seeing the small, normally sold weapons reminded her on how few she had and the ones she did have were very old. She took out her money to count up the small amount she had before looking and counting at the kunai and shuriken that laid in bunches. She hated having to buy new ones but without them she couldn't train to much. Which of course left her frustrated as she counted up less money than she needed for them, not to mention it wasn't like she could get a discount with the shop owner since she didn't know them that well. Most she could do was go around to find some coins lying around possibly.

If anything she really didn't want to go all the way home to ask her busy mother for extra coin. That would just be too much hassle. Not to mention she'd probably have to take her brother out to the town as well, it's not that she hated him or disliked him at all it was merely just she felt he was safer at home than with herself and with his shenanigans of ending up in dangerous situations she felt more compelled to just keep searching. She did find some loose change strewn about, just barely enough for the weapons she needed as she put the money on the counter and pointed to them. She awaited them to be handed to her as she wanted to get going soon.

Himitsu walked through the village with a few bags of supplies. His mother had sent him on a shopping trip for one of his younger cousin's first practice with bandages and ointments. If he remembered correctly, that little terror had a penchant for grabbing fistfuls of finger paint, and it was going to be a long lesson for his uncle. He was alone, with the light bags in one hand and a small pouch attached the ribbon of his robes. His mother had given him enough Ryo to buy the supplies and was expecting her change back.

He decided to make a quick stop by the small weapon's shop on the way through the village. Himitsu wasn't terribly good with weapons, and honestly he was likely going to have to rely on chakra scalpel like a lifeline once he learned it and got into more advanced training. If he remembered correctly though, one of the new academy graduates from the compound was thinking of going for weapons specializing over taijutsu. It was unorthodox for a family as traditional as theirs, but it'd make her happy if he found something for his uncle to buy later as a present. He went to the tiny shop and began to look around.

Near the counter he spotted a girl with reddish hair. His eyes glanced at the headband on her arm, similar to his own hidden beneath the collar of his shrine maiden robes. Smiling softly the boy walked up to the counter. He noticed the weapons splayed out on them, some kunai and shuriken. In his normal sunny and cheerful voice he addressed her.

"Do you specialize in weapons?" he asked casually. He pulled down his collar enough to show his headband before releasing it to place his hands in front of him. His red eyes looked at her as he spoke further. "I've never had any skills with them myself. Target practice was always a bit frustrating." He laughed airily in good spirits.

She looked over the small weapons and twisted her wrist with them to get a feel for the weight. Before long she took the shuriken out of the bag she was handed after purchase and spun them on her finger for a second. She placed it back then tied the bag closed and placed it to her side. She took a minute to count the last bit of change she had left only for making sure she made a good purchase and not from someone cheap handed. The store owner seemed appalled at her untrusting to his better judgment but she felt compelled to make sure everything was right. His assumption was pure truth that she didn't trust anyone, let alone a merchant. Before long she placed her change into the bag on her side and noticed someone coming up to her.

At first she looked at them, over and over to see who they were and rather didn't seem to answer back. She instead ignored the question and turn around, walking off to leave them at peace or possible irritation by her so called "rude" way of avoiding things. If anything she just didn't want to talk or acknowledge anyone today, it just felt better to hide back in the background and be ignored. Or perhaps her judgment was only that because she just wanted to escape the problems of trusting other individuals. Whatever the case, she kept walking onwards, allowing herself to pull at her hair calmly and act uninterested. Yes she had a habit of pulling her red hair or twisting it just to keep herself busy and to show her nervousness. If not for that alone she'd look blank and boring to anyone else. Even though that is what she wants.

Himitsu watched as she momentarily fiddled with the weapons, and then promptly left. She didn't say a word or give and sort of indication of why she'd ignored him. Was it something he'd said. maybe that he'd come off as nosy? Or was she simply shy? It seemed unusual to think of a kunoichi as anything resembling timid, but you never know. Most people didn't expect him to be able to punch them through a wall. He completely dropped his thought of searching the shop, it was better to do so with uncle later anyways, and turned back to follow after the girl with deep red hair.

He ran more than quick enough to catch up to her and slow down to trot lightly behind her. His robes and long decorated hair swaying with his movements as he followed her. He tilted his head in curiosity. It always seemed to get the better of him. "Hey you, from the shop!" he called out still cheery and warm. "You're headband, you have to be a shinobi right?" The question was obviously rhetorical and he used it as a lead in for his introduction. The second one he'd tried on her. "I just graduated from the academy a few months ago, I haven't seen you around before. What's your name?"

She seemed a little frustrated with the person following her and sighed out before turning to Himitsu. She looked at the well and yet almost over dressed figure of what looked like a girl. She was staring for a long while before turning away and speaking quietly. "Hitomi, and Id rather walk alone..." She then kept walking onward even with the sentence she just said. It wasn't snarky or rude but more so dull as an answer to any question. She walked on and almost seemed to sink into the crowds, granted her hair was more predominant however other than that she seemed disinterested in most everything like many of the crowds that passed by.

She only stopped to look at the trees blowing around before heading on. She seemed to get more worried than anything as her pace quickened towards her home. She even seemed to forget the person following her and just seemed to want to get home as her first goal now. She was going to get some fresh air and train however something about the wind or sky made her feel panicked, which is odd to someone who uses wind jutsu.

Perhaps it was due to the fact the sky was a little darker and the smell of water filled the air as humidity started to creep up. It was to rain, or more importantly as the sounds of thunder echoed from far off it was to storm. Why would she fear storms would be a good question, however why was she rushing home is the others. She just seemed like she needed to be home and that's where she headed.

She turned to face him and spoke. He was too far away to hear her sigh or anything else. He managed to walk up a good distance towards the girl when she finally spoke to him. "Hitomi, and I'd rather walk alone..." She turned and walked away even as she spoke to him. If she had used any sort of tone, Himitsu might have become angry. Might have yelled at her for being rude, but she sounded so pitch-less. Like it was a simple statement. Himitsu blinked in confusion and watched as she walked away, gaining distance. He trotted after her for a little while longer, still unsure what to make of her, and possibly off his own boredom and desire for people to speak with him. Plus, his family compound was sort of also in this direction. He might as well keep in pace with her if he had to go this way anyways. After awhile of her not saying anything he began to fall back even more. Should he just leave her alone?

The dark haired boy hesitated to turn around and possibly leave. That's when she suddenly stopped. He looked around, nothing but the village and the trees in sight. What was she stopping for? It was looking a bit stormy. Maybe she was scared of thunder, like his little cousin Biko. He raised a brow and slowly approached to decrease the distance between them.

"Hey, are you okay?" he asked from behind her. "It seemed like you were in a hurry before...why'd you just stop?" He paused and cleared his throat rubbing his foot across the sand and did his best to appear friendly. "My family's compound is this way, I can walk you to where you're going if you don't like storms." The offer was genuine and from complete sympathy. The honesty showing on his innocent face.

She was getting more panicked as time went on, the quiet winds and the small sparks from far off that showed lightening. She seemed to almost start running with such a pace but saw Himitsu catching up and asking her questions about the situation she seemed alerted too. She only took a minute to listen to the words and at first she felt put back by the questions once more but they offered their home. It would be very rude of herself to turn that down, especially in her fearful state.

Then again she thought on, what kind of shinobi fears storms. Shouldn't she face her fears on her own and get stronger from it. As this contemplated in her mind the sound of thunder echoed again as the sky was much darker, she seemed to jump at the sound and quickly nodded without really wording much but instead giving off that she just wanted to get out of the area. She works with wind, however she fears storms. What a mess of a person she was, then again that was just putting herself down for it.

It started to sprinkle here and there as a drop fell randomly. If anything the rain was fine, nothing much to herself but the sound of thunder rolled and cracked like a whip around where the storm was coming towards. She was pretty scared now and looked at Himitsu with a scared face before holding out her hands to push them lightly so they'd get going and not waste anymore time that would begin the storm sooner.

Himitsu noticed it go from cloudy to worse quite quickly. The fire country wasn’t as bad as the Land of Water with it’s near constant rainy seasons, nor was it a dry dessert like the Land of Wind though. The sky lit up with bright lights and thunder boomed through out the area loud and powerful. Nature could be fascinating like that. So beautiful and yet destructive. Just one ill placed bolt could set buildings alight or even strike one of them down. No wonder so many shinobi harnessed it for their jutsu. How did their bodies stand possessing something so great as this though? He made the quick decision not to inform his companion of his thought process.

The look on her face said it all, she was afraid, and eager to be going. That last part was clear from how she pulled his hand forward. Himitsu followed her lead allowing her to bring him forward. He abandoned his darker thoughts to focus on helping her get through this obviously serious fear. “Hey, it’s okay!” he exclaimed trying to get throught to her past her likely panicked state as he kept going. “Lots of people get caught in storms and turn out just fine.” He gave a small laugh, it wasn’t laughing at her or even the situation in any way. Just an extension of his friendly gesture really. Water was falling now and beginning to wet his hair and robes. That wouldn’t be good.

“Plus, I’m a medic! If you get hurt I’ll just heal you,” He assured her with a bright smile as he continued to follow her quick pace. He left out that he was more suited for manipulating pain and barely knew healing, because that would only make things much worse in reality. Hand still held in hers, he tried to firmly grip it to assure her he was here for her. This wasn’t really how he pictured the first time he held a girls hand. Then again, it wasn’t surprising considering most people thought he was a girl. “Don’t worry, I won’t let anything bad happen. I promise.”

She took a minute to look at the trees surrounding and at some buildings with the thunder cracking off nearby. She only turned back to Himitsu with sharp fear shaking her head. She was getting more and more scared by the moment. She even begun to talk in a loud manner but with a scared meaning. "I'm scared of those that come FROM storms." She explained in a quick manner and then pulled on them more to start getting out of the storm. Every thunder that echoed made her on edge.

"That's what they said too, just hurry UP!" She yelled with the storm rolling in with sprinkles of rain beginning to fall. She kept glancing over areas one would look if ambush was to fall, however the question was what she meant and what she needed to do. Her scared expression was like that of one who's seen true fear rather than a child crying out to their mother. Something was wrong and she felt panicked to get out without a single thought twice on the matter.

"I just want to get out of here..." She said in a worried expression. She seemed to quicken her pace as she looked at the surroundings.
