The guard itself is also a hard bronze with a dragon engraved on the under-side. The sheathe is a light blue with a very intricate dragon design on it. Special Abilities:
The sword, when conducting the users chakra (If they have a water style chakra nature) will glow with a bright blue aura. Surrounding itself in, what appears to be, a small water dragon. When this is active the sword is 2X as sharp as other A-rank weapons. If the user does not have a water style nature the sword will merely glow blue without the water dragon appearing, but the same affect occurs.
Origin:
This sword was crafted by Nights father on the day of his death intended for him as a gift when he returned from his mission with Hira. The way it was crafted, appealed to Nights fascination with dragons in many different ways. Nights father was a master blacksmith and was an expert in crafting swords especially. When Hira returned alone without and delivered the news to his father, the look that instantly engulfed his face was one of outright sadness and rage. He could not believe his son, was gone. However through it all, there was a silver lining. Nights father was very proud of his son, having given his life in service of his village and to protect Hira.
At the funeral, many people came to pay their respects. Hira, did not attend the funeral, he just couldn't bring himself to go. Instead Hira mourned alone, in his own way. Sometime later, Nights father approached him just as it was beginning to rain. He stated the sword he had crafted for Night was now his and that Night would have wanted only Hira, to wield such a weapon. At first Hira refused to accept the weapon, but, when Nights father unsheathed it to show it to him, something about the blade seemed to call to him. Almost as if the blade held Nights unbendable and unbreakable will. Hira accepted the blade and since the day he recieved it, he has taken it with him almost wherever he goes, listing it as his most prized possession. (word count: 256/250)
