Location: Original location is unknown, though most of the Yuki live now in the land of whirlpools.
History: The Yuki clan was once a prestigious clan, a very long time ago. They were renowned for their skill, and many sought to topple the great clan. The clan was massacred, however, and the few who survived fled and scattered to the winds. Many were not capable of using the clan Kekkei Genkai, hence the reason why ice release is now so rare. Now, very few born with the Yuki name actually are capable of using the great Ice Release Kekkei Genkai. Only those descended from a small group of the 5 survivors of the Yuki massacre who knew ice release can use their clan's jutsu. Now, several hundred years later, the Yuki clan is recovering, though they have none of the power and prestige they once had.
The Yuki mostly came to Uzushiogakure, in the land of whirlpools, for a chance to start over and begin anew. They currently have no clan head, and aren't united, but scattered, unlike a typical clan. The Yuki have become divided, and may not ever stand united as a proper, powerful clan again, but are indeed still surviving. The clan may have broken apart in a sense, but they survived nonetheless.
Now, it is considered a goal of the clan to become a united force once more, and regain what they once had. To regain honor and prestige, and to set down roots and have a proper clan residence for the main part of the now-growing clan known as the Yuki.

Description: Ice Release is a type of Kekkei Genkai that combines Wind and Water chakra together to create a new element: ice. This is very rare, even among full clan members, and is not often passed down through the clan. Members who have this often attempt to keep it a secret, for their own safety. Both the rarity and the fact that it is a Kekkei Genkai makes members of this clan a target. This elemental release is considered to be rather difficult to beat, as many of the jutsu can even withstand fire release. It is, of course, not invulnerable, though there are few releases that can melt the ice created by this Clan's Kekkei Genkai.

||Description||: The user makes the handseal specific to the jutsu, and almost instantly a dome-shaped formation of ice mirrors appears around the target. There are 21 mirrors in all. 10 of these hover near ground level, 10 hover roughly half a meter above that, and one hovers horizontally at the top of the dome. Each of these mirrors reflects the user, though one will actually have the user inside. The user can then switch from mirror to mirror, attacking with any weapons they may have. The time it takes to switch mirrors is determined by the user's own speed.
These mirrors are extremely resistant to damage, even from fire jutsu, hence why some consider this the Yuki clan's ultimate jutsu. Only the most powerful of the Yuki can use this jutsu. Due to the immense chakra cost, for every post duration of the jutsu, the user's speed will be reduced by 10, for the more strain the jutsu puts on the user the slower they move.
