Inubashiri☆Momiji

Inubashiri☆Momiji

Kumo in the day time was next to the busiest place in the five nations as people ran to and from place to place in search of gathering rice, and water sometimes even wine for events it was needless to say that Kumogakure had it's quiet times at times as well. This was one of those times as no one was on the street at least almost no one every now, and again someone would come out and head to a market to get some groceries, or even stop by the ramen shop for a quick meal. Even ninja came and went as the raikage had been constantly sending them on missions.

The Raikage was a busy man and the ANBU team was just as busy there was no doubt in all of that to the point that you barely ever saw any of them as if they were ghosts. Momiji was on top of the roof of one of the markets as he was watching the silent streets his katana had rested across his chest over his right shoulder, and his left hand was holding the bottom of the sheath. It was a windy day and it seemed that the clouds were rolling in for signs of a storm though it wasn't something that was odd or strange as it was a way of the weather. As Momiji's blue hair was wavering from left to right he was wondering where his old friend had run off to. It had been a while since he had seen him Four years now.. his mind randomly spoke out for him. Not to say he would be exactly excited when he showed up, but it would be good to see an old face rather than the crowd of new faces he was living with now. Momiji had seen a few genin ninja cross the market, and so happened to look up "Hey Kid. What're you doing up there." from their angle his face was hidden behind the black color all except for his nose, hair, and eyes. He just stared at them as they called out in a rather unkind manner sure he looked like a kid, but he was by no means one in the terms of knowledge and experience. Again they called out to him, "HEY KID! his ears rung as he looked down at them again his mind had made his eyes wander off towards the Raikage's tower before he felt three thuds. "Hey Kid I was calling you. You're a genin aren't you." he looked back at them with just a slight glance not really bothering to say anything towards them. He could hear the aggrivation in their voices, but it didn't bother him. When one tried to approach him he was quick to get up and subdue the boy having placed his arm in a rather uncomfortable position. Momiji looked back to the other two before throwing him back to them the boy was holding his arm as they jumped down and walked off. The two tending to the boy as they vanished in plain sight Momiji turned his gaze back to the tower before he heard the thunder crackle, and little rain droplets began to fall. This didn't make Momiji want to move, or waver besides it was a nice day to be outside anyway. He watched and people ran to and from the markets to home getting soaked in their clothes. A few people ran by and screamed out "Get where it is dry!" Momiji looked down at them and shook his head simply refusing to do such a thing. Plus being a look out was somewhat entertaining he got to keep watch for anything out of the ordinary as well as gather his thoughts in a nice peaceful and quiet place.

Soon lightning began to touch down on multiple places outside of the town the flashes of light whitening out everything for a second before the color came back. It was indeed a good storm, and it was something to enjoy outside. A few people thought of Momiji as a lunatic for being out in this kind of weather, but he had always felt comfortable in this type of weather since he was younger. It was rather cool around Kumo always and nothing outside of peaceful was something he could admire through his own ways that he looked at life. He inhaled deeply as he caught a whiff of that rain smell. There wasn't anything like it not even a field of flowers could top the smell of rain. The beam in which he stood began to get a little slippery all except for the place where his feet were planted, and a small chill began to kick up from the wind. Momiji's eyes were squinting a bit, but nothing that would render him completely blind with his eyes. He was falling back on memories of his mother while he was waiting. How kind she was, and how disciplinary she was. behind the black overextended collar he smirked a bit at the thought Didn't make them like they used to. He thought. It was a true fact not many people's parents were exactly in the field of discipline nor responsibility, and it was a shame really. Momiji crouched again like some sort of beast waiting for its next pray as he looked at the relentless oncoming storm making it's way from point A to point B, but would this storm end soon? Probably not from the looks of it it was going to be a long storm perhaps hours upon hours of good nice rain. After all the land needed, and it cleaned out the air something that was very valuable for the plant life all around. Momiji was like the storm he was here to stay for however long it took 'til he saw his old friend again and they caught up.
