Special Abilities: This weapon can Liquify along with Junpei, by utilizing the Hydrification Technique. This keeps the weapon in the line of Hozuki blood, but still a great tool.
Origin: This blade was a gift or more of a compensation for the times that Junpei went under as a Genin and for graduating to the Chunin rank. With a rumor about the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist being reformed and being chosen among Kirigakure ninja, Junpei made sure he was a prominent figure and very much a candidate. Going to the extent of killing his squad mates in Chunin Exams during the Forest of Death section, Junpei killed any and all competition that could arise.
That is just the surface of things, because the waters are much much deeper, but for the most part, chasing the dream of becoming one of the Seven Swordsmen earned him the great honorific monicker, the Demon's Third Coming. The title originated from the original Demon of the Mist Zabuza Momochi, then was given to Junpei's forefathers and inspirations Suigetsu and Mangetsu Hozuki. With the age of peace, no one stepped up to claim the title until Junpei came along.
Upon graduating to a Chunin and finding out the choosing of the Seven Swordsmen was just a rumor, Junpei was given this weapon as compensation. Obviously specially crafted to fit his abilities, Junpei then came to the conclusion a great swordsmen is made by his skill, not the weapon. This of course didn't end his quest for obtaining the legendary blades, but it encouraged him to train harder than ever and rely on more so his skill than the abilities a weapon would give him. But swords as still dope as hell to him.

Origin: This blade was Junpei's first and it was what got him on his feet on the path of a murderer. It isn't his favorite with Holmgang having come into his possession, but before the latter mentioned weapon, this simple designed weapon was everything Junpei could wish for. back in the days when Junpei wasn't as arrogant, the blade reflected his simple persona. Its purpose was to kill as was Junpei's and that's what the two did together. A smaller weapon making it truly an assassins tool, but it also made the kills personal which made Junpei the cold mofo he is now.
Despite appearing like a typical weapon that could break when clashing against a strong enough force, this blade is actually monstrously durable proven for the amount of years it has on it. The blade was given to Junpei at age 6 and it still remains with him at age 17. Sadly the modest beast is still underestimated, but it makes Junpei feel so much better when he shows the blabbering fools that it has more notches and kills on its metal than they would earn in a life time.
There was one occasion the blade was proven weaker to another. That being against Junpei himself though. When he first received Holmgang, a test of might was required and with Kiga being his right hand, he wondered if it was time for a replacement. Sadly it was as he swung the great blade full power at the simple Chokuto and it turned the blade into scraps. Since then the blade was of course rebuilt and modified to make sure that never reoccurred and it hasn't.
