Looks Description: Sanroku is a dark-skinned young man, with no creases in his skin due to his young age. Sanrokus eyes are wide and sometimes possess an intimidating appearance. Sanroku has shaggy black hair and in terms of attire, he wears a long sleeved hooded dark chunin jacket, dark pants bound by a sash and a dark-gray scarf around his neck. He also wears small golden stud-earrings on his left ear and a silver one on the right. Considering himself to be rather simple, he doesn’t like to dress in a flashy manner.



Personality Description:
Sanroku is a brilliant person who enjoys detective/ANBU themed novels more than the average reader. Due to his attachment to these types of mystery novels, Sanroku developed a keen intuition for problem solving. What might appear to some as chaos, will to Sanroku, appear as a wealth of useful information. Sanroku prides himself in being a patriot; acting on behalf of the government wishing to enter the workforce of national security. Sanroku has an ego that at times borders on arrogant, and he draws pleasure in justifying why. Sanroku does not seek fame and that is why he has deep seeded dreams to work for the ANBU and in the shadows. The young shinobi possesses a demeanor that is sometimes considered dispassionate and cold, and rarely speaks when in battle, although he is pleased when he is recognized for having superior skills and responds to flattery while giving credit where credit is due. Sanroku is a loner and does not strive to make friends, although he values the position that “friends” have on the sane mind.

Sanroku has full respect for intellectuals and he says that it is an intellectual treat to grapple with war in war strategy and that he is completely willing to kill if the mission entailed, showing his ruthless side. The young Kumogakure shinobi has a fiery temper [when crossed] with a vengeful streak [when opposed] and is fiercely independent. It can be done, but it is a true mission in its own to have Sanroku give a teammate complete confidence in their competence. He is a shinobi of good birth and excellent education, endowed by nature with extraordinary mathematic and scientific faculties. The knowledge that Sanroku pertains at such an early age is wide spread although he focuses mostly on abductive reasoning because of his infatuation with detective/ANBU novels.

Within Sanrokus lifetime so far he has shown extraordinary powers for invention when speaking about new and creative techniques, his "outstanding physical beauty", "infinite grace", "great strength and generosity", "regal spirit and tremendous breadth of mind" as described by the authorities of Kumogakure, as well as all other aspects of his life, at such a young age, attracted the curiosity of others. Sanroku is a brilliant shinobi, secretly though a ruthless scientist who has demonstrated knowledge of robotics, mechatronics, metallurgy, chemistry, artificial intelligence, cloning, genetic engineering, psychology, biology, physics, astronomy, earth science, military tactics, cybernetics and mechanical engineering. Knowing many sciences paved the way for him to be one of the few true intellectuals in the shinobi world. Sanroku is an avid reader, a trait that has been passed down to all of his siblings by his parents.

History:
NO RANK: Sanroku was born into a small family in which a lot of focus was able to be put on him to become a great shinobi. The adoration the boy got at this age was bothersome, and even his parents stated that “Sanroku has no ambition and no energy in order to become a reliable shinobi” nevertheless, they attempted to apply him into the Academy. Sanroku was accepted, but even in such an “elementary setting” he was highly anti-social as he would’ve rather been alone reading his detective/ANBU novels. Sanrokus inspiration for forensic science grew in these years with the assistance of literature. Sanroku studied the novels and makes great use of the “trace evidence” knowledge pertained in them, such as shoe and animal impressions, as well as fingerprints, ballistics and handwriting analysis, now known as “questioned document examination.” Sanroku has a dream to become ANBU and hone the skill of the Science of Deduction and Analysis, so that it can uniquely be his custom in crime solving to police order. After graduating the Academy, Sanroku had just one desire, and that was to have a great Sensai or Master to train with.

GENIN RANK: When graduating the Academy at the age of 7 and ranking up to Genin, Sanroku based his whole genin career completing missions and acting on his own most of the time, leaving no time for Team assignments. Sanroku in this rank learned to use analytical chemistry on blood residue to create a form of toxicology examination and determine poisons, this was so he can prepare for his ANBU investigation missions. Sanroku seems to have maintained a small chemistry laboratory in his home, presumably using simple wet chemical methods for detection of specific toxins. This titled Sanroku in his local town as a scientist, and he rather enjoyed the accolade seeing as his ego was being fed due to his genius. Sanroku wishes to specialize in medical ninjutsu and become a doctor, which is why he does all these eccentric things. Sanroku also has deep aspirations to become ANBU Black Ops for his village and that is only because of all of the detective readings he has filled his head with. Sanroku is said to have an eidetic memory because he is able to retain so much information, but he has never said that is true and he has never proved it either, since it would be difficult to prove but still this is a testament to his memory prowess. Sanroku blames this gift of not "cluttering his memory." Sanroku claims that he does not know his family other than the immediate [father, mother, siblings], because such information is irrelevant to his work and the only reason he knows his immediate family is because he was conditioned to remember them due to being birthed and raised around them. Sanroku believes that the mind has a finite capacity for storage, and learning useless things will reduce the ability to learn useful things, thus when brought up with unnecessary information he tries very hard to immediately forget it. This is why he does not say he has an eidetic memory, since he monopolizes the information storage. At the age of 10, the Raikage heaved interest in the young shinobi and promoted Sanroku to the Chunin rank because of all of his mission accomplishments.

CHUNIN RANK: When Sanroku was promoted to the Chunin rank, the Raikage had one thing in mind; and that was to prepare Sanroku for the ANBU. The Chunin Rank was nothing but a pre-ANBU training session that was said to be one of the hardest trainings that shinobi ever have to endure. It is not easy to be in the Black Ops, thus their training is created not exactly to make a shinobi better but instead to make the weak shinobi quit. The Kumogakure pre-ANBU training regimen consists of a lot of reading about the Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai; literally meaning Special Assassination and Tactical Squads, and how the “dark side” runs their missions, such as assassinations and torture. Because the shinobi are hand-picked by the Raikage to become ANBU because of a special skill, training consists of perfecting that unique skill to the point that you are a master. Studies on the ANBU uniform and how it is used including how one combats with it on is also in the training. Pre-ANBU training will teach students why the ANBU is codenamed the "Corpse Processing Team". The students are also taught to think of themselves as already being dead, because knowing themselves just how much valuable information a shinobi's corpse can hold for enemy nations, if they are severely wounded or on the verge of death, they will have to take measures to destroy their bodies using specialized techniques.
