Mission details :

Garuda sat in on a stone as he waited for Kotaro, a person he had decided to go on a mission with. Garuda had told the boy to meet him but didn't tell him what task they would be going on, as he wanted it to be a surprised. Garuda like seeing others abilities and taking a lesson from one of his mother's journals he would decided if this boy should be bothered with depending on his capabilities. If Kotaro didn't fare well against his opponents then this would be the last time Garuda would associated with the boy, but if he could do better or what Garuda expected then the boy would have the Anbu captain as his friend. But Garuda would no longer think about that because Kotaro wasn't here yet. What Garuda was wears shin bandages and Uchiha crest along with the traditional Uchiha combat outfit, consisting of a black high-collared, long sleeve mantle that splits down the lower half of it. And around his waist he wore a simple light-brown obi and a belt. Today was a beautiful day to take on a mission as the sun was high in the sky ad there where barely any clouds, truly peaceful.

A sigh escaped his lips as he drew them into his mouth wetting the dry surfaces. Tapping his shinobi sandals on the concrete he was just departing his home or better yet is workshop. He wish he had a bit more notice that he would be embarking on a mission, for he had to arm his only combat puppet Koga, since walking around the village with a fully armed puppet wasn't usually the safest idea. As if the humanoid marionette was a backpack, Kotaro rolled his shoulders forward making sure the bandage wrapped puppet was sealed tightly and also secure on his back. Both his hands lazily on the straps that reached over his shoulders, he walked to the meeting place. A simple black cloak with deep blue fish emblazoned on it was wore and under that a mesh shirt, then on his legs navy blue shinobi pants that met white leg warmers. The leg warmers only touched up to the lower part of his calf and with the size of his cloak they were barely even visible. With his eyes naturally setting in their seemingly uninterested levels and his scarlet hair a tad bit messy, he soon saw the man who would be leading him on this mission.

The teen wasn't sure what the mission was, but knowing that Garuda was a Jounin or at least he thought he was, the puppeteer assumed it would be combat oriented. Stopping a few feet away from his company for the mission he spoke. "I'm ready to embark when you are." His tone wasn't as bland as usual, but it was notable that Kotaro's personality hadn't warmed up yet, but in due time it would.

"Okay then lets go." Garuda would say as he rose from where he was sitting and started to walk in the direction he had been facing. He choose to walk because he wanted to explain the mission to Kotaro. As he walked he would glance back at Kotaro, mainly at the thing he was carrying on his back. Garuda would look  forward, he would clear his throat as he began to speak."We are going after two rogue Genin who are called the Gozen Brothers. So for this mission we are going on the task will be very simple as we need to only kill them so don't hold back." Garuda would look back at Kotaro to see if he was keeping up."Since I wanna see what you are capable of, I will have you fight one of them.Don't worry if you are unable to take him done by yourself since I am here there is no way you should be in danger during this mission."

Garuda would stop as he spotted a boar next to a tree he would walk over to it and kneel beside it examining the animal's body Garuda would notices a purple substance in one of it's wounds. From that and the fresh wounds being from some sharp object Garuda knew that only those brother could have done this, and that they were close. Garuda knew this from the information given about the brothers being weaponry experts that specialize in special toxins. Garuda would stand to his feet."They are close so be prepared." Garuda would say. Those brothers must be really edging for a fight if they had hurt an innocent animal."Almost forgot to tell you! These guys are experts when it comes to weapons so be cautious. Also they use some type special toxins so don't let them hit you, okay?" Garuda would say with a blank expression. Garuda wondered what type of poison/toxins those guys used; only two things he could think of them having is either something lethal or something that can paralyze/numb places it hit.

Kotaro quickly began to follow the man he would call his leader for this task. His eyes were locked forward already steady examining the area, he hadn't even caught the mans gaze wander onto his puppet. Being briefed as his eyes were steady skating across the area he nodded to Garuda. This would be his first time killing another, but if he was tasked to do so he guessed he would have to do it. "Ok . . . I understand."

Being very alert of his surroundings Kotaro might have even noticed the boar before Garuda had. Watching the man approach the mammal, Kotaro kept his distance just like he had read in his ninja handbook. It was important to cover your teammates openings at all times even if the setting seemed casual. Being informed about the poisons Kotaro was a little weary, but he figured he would be fine. Reason being he was a ranged fighter rather than up close and if anything his puppet would be taking the damage for him. Rolling his shoulders back the weight from the bandage covered puppet was relieved from his back. Swinging the mass in front of him and jamming the butt of the wrapping onto the earth, the bandages spread open in a cinematic fashion. Now in the open to be observed, spectral blue thread connected themselves to the puppet's torso and limbs.

The puppet stood at five feet and five inches right at Kotaro's height and its legs seemed to be the same length as well. The only clothing on its body was a black draped poncho that reached its thighs and also under this poncho were four wooden arms. It's face looks like that of a scarecrows, having seven perfect circles in the form of a light smile for a mouth. Its eyes were larger circles with yellow in them for pupils and small strands of black hair reached down in front of them. Covering this hair however was a large black pyramid shaped hat that had a very unique appearance.

With the puppet and its master prepared for combat at any given moment, Kotaro would move as if the puppet wasn't even accompanying him on his journey. Still walking lazily, the only thing that changed would be the awkward feeling of another present, that being the puppet . . . hopefully and the subconscious rhythmic dance of Kotaro's fingers. "Alright, I'll stay on my guard."

After the briefing and the two walked for about twenty minutes Garuda would put his hand out to signal Kotaro to stop and would  motioning  him to take cover behind it. He did his movements quickly and swiftly as before he saw the brothers he knew what he was going to use. Picking up a small stone he would launch it btween the brothers, this to get there attention. When they looked back Garuda would begin. Garuda would quickly begin to perform hand signs, quickly saying them in his head as he did so. "Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram" . Since the brother wouldn't be more then thirty meters away the one targeted should easily be consumed by Garuda's genjutsu, as he had enough distance to perform it before they could approach him. IThe won Garuda picked would start to feel intense heat from a gigantic ball of fire falling from the sky above him. If anything such a feeling and a sight should have the C-rank missing nin petrified in fear. If the genjutsu was successful Garuda would hope Kotaro had been paying attention, because if he was would know when someone if stuck in a genjutsu and unable to defend themselves. This was an opportune  time for Kotaro to strike with his puppet, either it be on the one stuck in genjutsu, if it was successful, or the other brother who was rushing to attack them.

No matter what was successful or not Kotaro and Garuda would be in no true danger, as Garuda had a plan on how to take care of the two brother who's only weapons where something they had to use up close. Garuda was a master of genjutsu and someone who had quickly took the title of Anbu Captain, C-rank missing nin stood no chance against him. But if they stood a chance against Kotaro was yet to be seen.

As they walked through the area undoubtedly Kotaro's guard slowly whittled away, twenty minutes was quite some time for one to be alert the whole journey and believe it or not being alert like that was pretty consuming. But luckily Garuda had been on his guard the whole time and a hand extended out was easy to read and to understand tat he was being told to wait. Then soon after, he was motioned to take cover which he did in a timely manner and as he did so he also took the time to move his puppet into the battlefield. Nothing too dextrous, as Koga simply moved straight at its target this being the ninja Garuda had not targeted. Kotaro's main ploy at this moment was to test the brothers reaction time and to see how he would react. Since his enemies were apparently a bit more skilled than the average Genin Kotaro figured countering would be the best way to go about fighting him rather than going on a true offense.

On the other hand the ninja Garuda had countered was yelling in agony from the pain of the flames, well what he believed were flames. He truly believed he could feel his skin roasting and melt from the firestorm that had fallen on him. After a small interval of time had passed he would notice his brother wasn't being burned by the raging fire however and after he could control his mind to realize this was false, he could act properly. Getting himself back into his own psyche, he performed Genjutsu Kai, just like he was taught when he was a legal shinobi. Seeing Kotaro's puppet move in towards his brother, this one would hope his brother could handle himself and he would narrow his eyes at the black haired man. If it weren't for the Genjutsu exhausting him quite a bit mentally and physically, he would have attacked, now but he felt it would be better to wait off the small bit of fatigue and to fully recollect himself. "That was a fancy trick you did there, but those illusions won't work on me again you snake." The Gozen brother proudly proclaimed as he grabbed his katana that was on his hip.

The brother who hadn't been caught in the genjutsu decided he would take care of the puppet, and hopefully find the one controlling it. The short black haired brother has his sword drawn as and picking up more and more speeds as he rushed at the puppet, suddenly he would leap forward, to making it quicker to the puppet and perform his attack." I am going to break your toy!" He says as attacks the puppet with a vertical sword strike to it's midsection. Even if the attack didn't land the guy's sword would drip a strange purple substance. Even though the blade was coated in the substance there wasn't a lot on there. If the attack missed or seemed to not faze the puppet the he would turn around and , attempt to, assault the puppet with countless strike with his blade. If the puppet fell from the strike, not broken but fallen down, the guy would walk over to it and laugh with his foot on it's head. Not to break it but taught the puppet's master, saying something like."Come out if you don't want your toy broken and further!" This brother was extremely confident in his skills and when ever he did something he would bash in the glory, even during the middle of battle like he was doing now. He wasn't cut out to be a shinobi of Iwa because, his true reason on going missing was to be with his brother who did.

Spoiler:

"Sigh, I wanted to just immobilize you while I watch that boy fight. But I guess I have to punish you." Garuda would say with a disappointing tone, he just knew he should have thrown another genjutsu on top of that one or at least make the first one stronger. But that couldn't be helped now. When Garuda had spoke his words he had begun to get into a strange stance. He had his hands formed in a semi-ram handsign, with the left and, and a flat palm towards the ground with his right. When Garuda did his stance and required hand signs the spirit of the Thousand-Armed Kannon is summoned behind him. The calm and angelic figured just stayed behind him for the moment, because well he wanted the guy to attack first. Garuda used this technique most of the time, more then his sharingan, to serve punishment on those he deemed needed it.

In hindsight Kotaro didn't expect his first kill to come like this. On this day, with this weather, in this outfit, it all seemed like it was rushed and just tossed at him with no warning. That's probably because it was however. It just seemed like a normal day and a normal mission and truthfully the Genin wasn't ready for it, but that was how the Ninja World operated . . . at least how he thought it did. But all in all it didn't feel as bad as he thought it would, it was more so relieving that the hurdle in his shinobi career had been passed.

Continuing with the current flow of time . . .

The puppet continued along its trail to strike, but the master pulling the strings of course had a ploy in his sleeve or should he say in his puppets body. For the Gozen brother to go at the marionette so head on let Kotaro know he had no experience with battling against puppets. Not many people did though, so Kotaro couldn't blame him. Puppeteers were very rare now a days seen as an ancient art and craft at that. But that's what Kotaro liked, not the feeling of being unique and looked at differently, but the fact that not many knew how to combat puppets since most users were hidden away and very reclusive for the most part. But then along with that the puppet itself had many secrets, secrets that Kotaro didn't plan on allowing the Gozen brothers to live with knowing.

Hidden in the inanimate holes for a grin of Koga were seven hidden blades that were chilled within the shell of the puppet. Held down in a metal clip, the kunai also had pressurized canisters rigged to them, this of course was to make them into deadly projectiles that typically moved faster than a Genin could throw. So from the orifice in the center of his lifeless smile a single kunai would be fired. This being from the command of Kotaro of course. Hidden behind the object he was told to, he barely peeked out from the area, surveying the battle from this point. So with a fluid caper of his hands the metal blade would be fired towards the approaching Gozen brother as he leaped at Koga. Normally a small bit of lag time would need to be accounted for when dealing with puppets and Kotaro was no exception, but any puppeteer with a brain would have adapted to the lag time and would know to act prematurely or as soon as movement is needed.

So with the kunai being fired at the Gozen Brother who attempted to assault Koga he was welcomed with two choices. Either die from the kunai that was hurdling through the tight space between the two or compensate by deflecting the blade with his own. With his blade coming down prematurely, if it did, then the slash of his blade would barely nick Koga and at that it wouldn't be enough to actually harm the puppet. Regardless though, Kotaro's hands would dance their hypnotic dance again commanding his vessel to feint to its own left, the right in the eyes of his opponent. The motion would be just as eloquent as the movement of the puppeteers hands, then again the hands of Kotaro would move, this time as if they were mimicking an arachnid or another spider like creature.

With Koga being shifted to the targets flank, this would be as he made his decision with the kunai predicament. If the blade wasn't lodged in the Genin's head in a gut wrenching headshot, then Koga would be directed to grab the Genin. All four of its arms perfectly horizontal would reach around the Gozen Brother's torso successfully binding him if grabbed. But Kotaro still had to act fast, though the bind could be ensured nothing was absolute and the grip could easily be broken or weaseled out of if ample time was provided. So ending the show his hands had put on with a highly punctual act, Kotaro's hands would imitate two claws coming towards each other parallel to the earth. This would give birth to four one foot long blades. Each would peek from in between Koga's arms and under the bottom set of his appendages. Meaning if the Genin was grabbed, then the blades would mercilessly jut out into his body piercing him through the back four times with the mercilessness of a machine. Though it was a little troubling for Kotaro to stomach and do, since all he had to do was motion his hands and let the puppet do the work for him it wasn't as hard to execute as it would have been.

Slightly if one were paying attention, the ends of the switch blades would be visible from the front of the Gozen brother, but as quick as they came they would be recalled and the puppet would move away from the corpse. Its wooden body creaked slightly as the frame itself seemed to acknowledge that it had taken its first life and shared the moment with its master. Though it was all a lot to take it, the battle was far from over or at least half way completed. Seeing Garuda summon an angelic looking creature the Genin was reminded to stay focused on the task at hand and not slip into his stream of thoughts though they kept calling. With Koga positioned behind the Genin who seemed exhausted, he was sandwiched between four entities. Three being in front of him, the spirit conjured up by Garuda, the shinobi Garuda himself, then the Kotaro who was controlling the bloodied up frame that could have possibly just murdered his brother.
______________________________________________

Shaking off the feeling of mental exhaustion the Gozen Brother was now ready to battle with the Iwagakure shinobi, but seeing the spectacle preformed with the older male ninja, he was skeptical about his approach. Needless to say things weren't looking good for him or his brother. His hand would swiftly slide down his frame as he withdrew three kunai. Each had the peculiar toxin coated on them and the thought seemed to make the wielder of them grin deviously. With a katana in one hand and kunai in the other, he tossed one kunai straight towards the older male, him being his primary target. Afterwards he would toss another, then his final one would be directed at the Genin who was positioned behind an object, but peeking out. Once his hands were freed he would rush in gripping his bade with both hands while he rushed in to engage in close quarters combat. One diagonal swing of his blade from his left hip to his right side, would then evolve into a thrust if the older male ninja decided to back step. He figured if he could just kill the older male then the spirit would fade away and he would easily be able to deal with the younger ninja.

The first kunai sent would quickly be swatted down, the godly being being Garuda effortless taking care of the others thrown in the same manner. The Hands used to take them down actually where the size of Garuda's despite the being's gigantic size. In truth this technique only protects it's summoner but the kunai sent toward  Kotaro was to close to Garuda and might have been used for something other then to attack Kotaro. Garuda in truth, if had complete control over the being, wouldn't allow it to block for  Kotaro but since he couldn't stop it's protective ways there was nothing he could have done. Even of that as the next attacks from the being would end everything. When the Genin decided to come at Garuda he had thrown his life away. The genin's next attack was truly nice but would prove pointless as the spirit would simply push him back with it's now larger, about the size of three men, and powerful hands would push the individual around. It would be near impossible to dodge all of the hands, as more and more hands would go flying toward the genin. But when they wouldn't push him out of range as the hands did this, just out enough that he wouldn't be able to use his sword on Garuda. From out of the power and speed of the hands going past Garuda his hold would begin to flutter and reveal more of his face.

Even though Kotaro or the genin would be able to see him Garuda's face would quickly go from a one of calmness to full anger, but he wouldn't be the one to show such a face. As the being behind him would completely change from it's calm and angelic figured to something more viscous. The gold and bright aura around the spirit would also change to a deep red, the golden spirit also turning red. "Accept death with open arms." Garuda would say even though the genin probably couldn't hear him. As he spoke those words the spirit's face finally change to one of a demonic-looking creature. The open fist that were just pushing the boy around would turn to even larger fists. One of the fist would punch the above the genin's head and send him, if it made contact, into face first to the ground. Since the fist was massive and had great power behind it it could kill the genin after it landed. But if the genin was unlucky and lived from the attack he would begin to be pummeled by every hand the spirit had. The assault on the genin would be ruthless as it only would stop when he was left in a crater, his body beat to hell from the countless fists. Maybe Garuda didn't understand the meaning of over kill or maybe the demonic spirit didn't, the genin should be dead as even though he had master in weaponry he wasn't a match for a true Iwagakue shinobi.

The brother who had been in combat with the puppet would die, but not from the kunai as he would quickly use his blade o at least knock it away. Since he wasn't well experienced in fighting those that utilize puppets he would easily fall to what happened next. The genin would have a shocked look on his face as the puppet grabbed him around his torso,"What the hell!?!" he would scream as he couldn't get free from the puppets grip. As he struggle to get out of the grip his eyes would grow wide and he would spit out blood."Y-you bast...."The genin couldn't finish his sentence as the pain was to much for him to speak or try and move anymore. It seemed  blades had come from the puppet and they had mercilessly jut out into the genin's body piercing him through the back four times. As the Genin felt his life slip away and everything going black he couldn't but wonder if his brother was okay. When the puppet would let him go he would use all the remaining strength, even though it was a little, to look over in hope he could see his brother. But he wouldn't as he would only see darkness as he died, blood coming from his mouth and also the wounds the blades left.

With that blow from Kotaro and if Garuda's attack was successful was over the mission should be over and the brother killed, but sadly they would die in gruesome manners. If Garuda's attacks was successful and it was over the following things would happen. He would go over to the one he had killed and reach into the crater he was i and pull out his headband, he would do the same to the other genin. He would then put there bodies together, placing their headbands on corpses. And then follow that up by placing his hands on their bloody chests. He would then begin to destroy their bodies. Even though they had only done what their mission they should still pay their respects as the two brother did once belong to their village. And Iwagakure ninja shouldn't hold any grudge against one another after they had died, as those kind of things didn't matter anymore. Well that was Garuda's thinking anyway, after the bodies of the two were destroyed he would turn to Kotaro who was still behind the boulder, "You did good. Since you have meet my expectations I want you to become my apprentice. But that is just if you don't already have a sensei." Garuda would say with a smile. This kid really did meet expectations and Garuda wanted to see what he could do if he had someone to teach him what a true shinobi of Iwagakure should be like, well what Garuda thought one should be like anyway.

With the life of his target slipping away, Kotaro could swear he could feel the Genin's life slip away. It was an odd feeling and something he assumed he would grow used too as he progressed as a Shinobi. It seemed Garuda had . . . The man was merciless as he brutalized and manhandled the other Gozen brother. Here Kotaro was thinking Garuda would think Kotaro's method was a little violent, but just the vibe Garuda gave off while he assaulted the Genin was enough to make Kotaro second guess the mans true persona. But regardless, all was done and the task at hand was completed with no one but the targets being harmed.

"I guess we're finished . . ." Kotaro released a pent up breath that had been held in his chest subconsciously. Watching Garuda place the two brothers near each other and remove their headbands Kotaro walked up to observe. Seeing that it seemed Garuda was paying respects he figured he'd do the same. They were originally Iwagakure shinobi after all, still brethren to Kotaro, so he genuinely bowed his head for a moment. Coming back to a stand he took a final look at the two, more so the one he had killed. Kotaro was silent and as were his thoughts, he didn't know why, but he thought this seemingly big step in his ninja career would be more, he thought he would feel more for his victim. "I don't feel as bad as I thought I would . . . is this normal?" He looked up to Garuda with truly curious eyes his normal expression of laziness was gone and it showed.

After he got his answer he would recall Koga and would take a bit of time to hastily wrap him up then he would move to retrieve the kunai he had launched at the Gozen Brother. "Yeah, I could use a formal teacher if I wanna get any better. I gladly accept, thanks." Seeing as Garuda would be his new sensei, after stowing the kunai safely away, he would give a formal bow to Garuda and once he came back straight up a cheesy smile would be on his face. He wasn't one for all the formal acts, so though it was respectful the bow was more so a joke if anything. "Are we going to head back to the village now?"

Second Mission :

"I don't feel as bad as I thought I would . . . is this normal?" Was the question that made garuda pause and look away from the boy, as it was a question he had asked himself when he had done such a thing. Garuda would turn back to him and stretch,"Hmmm, as shinobi our job at times demands us to kill. How we feel about doing such a thing depends. Since I can't tell you how other feel about such a thing I will tell you how I see it when it comes to killing another." Garuda would take off his hood." Death comes to everyone you see. So I just say to myself I am merely doing what will happen to them anyway." Garuda answer wasn't really true and wasn't really false but he would go any deep into his words, as that would be for a later time.

"Great!"Garuda would say to the boy accepting to be his student."On going back to the village that is a negative..I have to take care of something first. So come on." garuda would say as he began to walk, but not before tossing the boy a scroll detailing what Garuda had to take care of. Before the mission had started Garuda had picked to go on another mission, as he needed to have some more missions under his belt. He did this without knowing if he was going to bring kotaro along with him or not, but since Kotaro had meet his expectations and become his student he decided to bring him. Garuda had chosen theses two missions due to things they needed to kill weren't that far from each other. As Garuda headed in the direction the village was he wondered if he should have used this task to test Kotaro, maybe this could be some form of training. Garuda had lots of things he wanted to teach the boy and also lots of mission he wanted to take him on; as he wanted to make sure this kid would one day become a great shinobi. If Kotaro reads the scroll given to him he would see that it they were going to be hunting a tiger.

"Merely doing what will happen to them anyway . . ." Kotaro mumbled the words under his breath as he mulled them over. They seemed to stick in Kotaro's pink matter as he took them to heart and saw the phrase as something to live by. They wouldn't be swallowed in the dark manner however at least not fully in the shadows of darkness, partially, but not completely. They were salted with a flavor of justice as Kotaro knew that's the context in which Garuda meant them in and when it came to serious matters he wasn't one to twist words.

Seeing as the duo wouldn't be headed back to the village right away, Kotaro readied his mind for another task. It seemed like today was his trial period to see if he could effectively "hang" with Garuda and prove to be factor rather than another typical Genin. This was something Kotaro didn't mind to do however, because though he wasn't the arrogant type he felt he was a bit more gifted than the average Genin. His hands steady on the straps around his shoulders carrying Koga they were quickly summoned to catch the scroll tossed towards him. Upon catching it, the teen opened it and briefed himself on the mission. "A black tiger? . . . Could they mean panther? I don't think one could decipher what a black tiger looks like since its stripes are black . . . Well, whatever the case may be, this seems simple enough." He extended out his hand offering the scroll back to Garuda as he began to think of his approach to this mission.

He figured using his ink style would be an easy way to deal with this one, though finding the animal could be a pain in future sight. Seeing as they would be searching for it on its on grounds and seeing as it was an animal it could probably easily sneak up on a group of unsuspecting people. Of course he and Kotaro weren't those type of people, but the art of stealth was never to be underestimated, that being said Kotaro chose his approach. "Seeing we'll be fighting the tiger on his own turf, I don't think an approach on the ground would be best. It's a wild animal and can be fairly stealthy and seeing how it has been eating children it doesn't seem to have an issue with combating humans." Kotaro would turn to Garuda while he was walking. If his sensei agreed then Kotaro would make a suggestion and even provide the solution. "I have a jutsu that can give us the edge in this situation if you give me time to prepare it." Given his sensei gave him the opportunity to prove his worth Kotaro would set Koga down and dust off the earth in front of him. Then rubbing his thumb, middle, and index finger together to remove and debris, he would begin to produce ink on the ground in front of him as his index finger moved. What was being made was a bird, an albatross to be exact. This would of course be larger than they typically were and once the product was finished it would be quite the exceptional painting. Forming the ram handseal the bird would then wrench itself from the earth and take flight hovering slightly above the surface. With no hesitation after grabbing Koga, Kotaro would hop onto the avian waiting for Garuda so they could continue with the task.

"Yea I felt the same way when it said that..."Garuda would say as he walked, as he really didn't believe such as a black tiger existed, but it would be cool. But with all the strange and unknown things in this world such a thing could exist. Garuda would stop as he listened to the rest of what Kotaro had to say. He would turn around and sit on the ground, watching at what the boy planed to do that would give them the edge in their hunt. As Garuda also had a plan but wouldn't be a crazy one. What he wanted to do was hide himself and have Kotaro be bait for the might beast, as it ate children and Kotaro was the only kid around. But enough of his little plan as what Kotaro was doing truly interested Garuda as it seemed the boy not only utilized puppets but also had could do something from ink. Garuda would gaze at the drawing he was making on the ground and smiled, as he loved some good art work, as it reminded him of drawings he saw in his home his father made. Garuda was going to ask what he planned on doing with the bird after he finish drawing it but would have his answer quickly answered; as the bird would come from the ground and take flight. "What a nice jutsu. It could be prove useful when we go on other missions." Garuda would say as he joined Kotaro and his puppet on the ink bird. Since Garuda was a fan of animals he knew exactly what bird it was but wondered why Kotaro didn't create something more menacing or at least more powerful looking. But there wasn't a point on complaining because they had something that could give them the advantage in this hunt.

"We should easily be able to spot the tiger now. And I want you to do battle with it as..well I wanna see some more of what you are capable of." Garuda would say as he sat on the bird Indian style and his arms crossed across his chest, his hood back on his head and cover his face up to his nose. Garuda from how he sat and spoke calmly on the bird seemed like he would be used to flying, but well that wasn't true. Garuda position was because this was the only way he wouldn't panic from being on a flying creature.

Cruising at a fair altitude, Kotaro admired the view from the birds back. The mountains of Iwagakure weren't much up close, but dirty and dusty hell holes, but from afar they were actually quite appealing to the eye. Moving his attention down to the ground he began to search the ground for the black tiger, before turning to Garuda to respond. "What more do you expect from a Genin yeash! Kotaro exclaimed before chuckling. He did have a few more tricks he could pull off, but he wondered what else Garuda expected out of him. Seeing how the man seemed rather uncomfortable on the bird, Kotaro figured he would pick with him a bit. This picking would be physical however as Kotaro would playfully shove Garuda in hopes of tipping him off balance. If he happened to fall, Kotaro could easily command the bird to catch him, with the Genin being used to flying and having control over the bird.

After his tomfoolery, he would return to the task at hand and in a few minutes Kotaro would see what he thought was the target. "Hey Garu- err Sensei, that down there, tat looks like the target. What do you think?" He would turn to his teacher hoping to get some of his judgement on the matter. If the man agreed then Kotaro would move into action. "Alright then, lets finish this in one strike!" Once again he used that finger to draw, but this time on the back of his albatross. What was drawn was the simple kanji for "trap" After that was done he would circle the tiger for a small moment, before swooping down in a nose dive. Not only did he want to pick with Garuda some more, but he also wanted to add some style points to the execution of the task. His hair being blown back he place a hand on the bandage wrapped Koga and gripped it tight, so it wouldn't be lost as the duo rapidly lost altitude. "Jump!" Kotaro would shout when at a safe distance away from the ground and at that moment he would also jump. The tiger would be more than alerted of their presence at this point seeing how Kotaro gave their location away before the nose dive, but it was all good.

Unlike what would usually happen when his ink creations collided with something, this time the bird would detonate in a fiery display surely annihilating the tiger with it. This being because on the kanji Kotaro had drawn prior and as he jumped off the bird and began to roll on the ground to weaken his landing, he had activated the seal thus causing an explosion. If all went as planned, he would stand up and brush himself off before reaching for Koga and putting him on his back. Once that was done he would find Garuda and check on his condition. "You ok there?" The Genin was a bit out of breath for he had started using his chakra pools rather than when he used his puppets and relied on their mechanisms to fight for him.

Why so high, Garuda would think as they flew through the air. But even though he had a little fear of highest the sight of Iwagakure from above, to Garuda, seemed amazing. The only thing Garuda moved was he head and that was to scan the ground for the target, but suddenly he would feel something touch him causing him to become unbalanced. "C-C-RAP!" Garuda would yell as he fell from the bird, his eyes shut as he didn't want to see the ground."This is the end! I can't believe it! I'M GOING TO D-"Garuda's sentence would be cut short as he felt something under him. It couldn't have been the ground that would be to quick as he open his eyes a sigh of relief would come from him as he just laid their on the bird. Garuda decided his best bet would be to lay, face first, like he was on the bird, as it would be easier to grab it if it does and maneuver or he falls again. He only gives partial blame for the incident to Kotaro; but doesn't say anything about it as he doesn't want to be ridiculed by the boy on how he reacted while falling.

"Yea check it out, this is your task. You don't need me to tell you what to do." Garuda says as he turned to look at Kotaro a worried look on his face, trembling still from what happened a few moment ago. Garuda would just agreeably nob to the boys next statement. Garuda would suddenly start to roll back when the bird took a sudden nose dive, grabbing the bird's tail feather when he go to it. The man held back tears as he held on for his life onto the bird and when Kotaro said "Jump" Garuda would just let go. As he fell back he could see that the tiger knew of their presence. As Garuda continued to watch the tiger as he fell he would see the bird collide with it and then a fiery display would happen most definitely annihilating the tiger. At that same time Garuda would fall on his back, and lay their for a minute. He didn't fall from a high enough distance to break anything but it still hurt a lot as he fell on the rocky ground. Garuda would stand to his feet when Kotaro came over and ask if he was alright. Dusting himself of Garuda would look at the boy he wanted to scold him for having him rid of a bird that could explode. But he couldn't.

"I'm fine." Garuda would say as he gave the boy a smile." I have seen enough to know I will be able to help you get stronger as a shinobi." Garuda would begin walking as their tasks were all done, as he walked he hoped Kotaro would walk next to him so he could tell him the rest. And if he did he would begin to speak again."I will give you one week to rest from today and then we shall begin some intense training that if not all genin won't be able to take. But If you are capable like I think you are you should survive." How Garuda spoke was in a friendly way but he was extremely serious on what he spoke about. He would be training kotaro as if he was one of the Anbu.

Kotaro was more than delighted with Garuda's reaction to falling from the bird, but then again he couldn't blame him. Anyone being shoved off a bird many meters above the earth would probably freak out a bit as well. But knowing his sensei was uneasy with heights made the nosediving even more exhilarating, just the thought of the man clinging onto the bird for dear life was enough to bring tears to the teens eyes not only from the wind blowing in his face, but from the sharp pain in his gut as he held in painful laughter. Recovering from all of his shenanigans, Kotaro was glad to see no remains of the tiger were evident as they were probably annihilated in the explosion that scorched the very earth leaving black streaks around the center point. With his sensei declaring he was fine Kotaro nodded and chuckled a bit as he shrugged his shoulders readjusting Koga that was on his back.

"Seems like you're pretty scared of heights huh Garuda-sensei . . . I'll be sure to keep that in mind." He giggled evilly as he comically rubbed his hands together as he plotted future exploitations of the mans fear. His tone then went back to serious as he addressed the training Garuda had mentioned. "But yeah, that training sounds awesome, I'll be sure to get some new tricks and maybe a puppet to play with by then!" Stretching his arms out he took a moment to summarize the short lived day in his head. It was truly eventful, but it seemed weird how time just continued to roll on though two people had lost their lives. The Shinobi World truly was a cold place as it moved with the mercilessness of time itself. It cared not for when you were ready and moved whether people were ready or not. "I'm just doing what will happen to them eventually . . ." That phrase bounced off the walls of his skull before soaking back into his brain and allowing him to refocus on the flow of things. "So I take it we're done now huh?"

"I not going to answer that." Garuda says as he is nervous about Kotaro knowing about his new found fear. Garuda would continue to walk as they were indeed done and heading back to the village. Today was pretty eventful in Garud'a opinion as they had to take care of two missing nin and then his new student took care of their next target in one shoot. How Kotaro fought impressive Garuda but when he gave away their position to the tiger worried him. But Garuda couldn't tell if that would be a one time thing or he had a habit of doing such a thing on future missions. But what worried him also today was his new fear on heights, as he couldn't be afraid of such a thing if he was going to be a effective Anbu captain nonetheless a sensei. Remembering a page from his mothers  journal it talked about those with a fear and how they weren't suited to become shinobi or be on a battlefield. As fear was a self limitation  or quality a weak person would have; as those with strength shouldn't have such a thing because such things are trivial. Garuda would keep think of that as he walked, putting his hood back over his face, a peaceful look on his face.

If the continued their pace it wouldn't be long before they reached the gate of Iwa, and that is were they would part ways for today."See ya later Kotaro." Garuda would say as he would body flicker away. Even though he had done two missions today he still had other Anbu duties to take care of. Garuda would now, after having Kotaro becoming his student, be a very busy man. As he had to know manage being a captain in the Anbu and also teaching a student. Even though he had more on his plate Garuda couldn't but help to be glad that he did as this new feeling of being a sensei, well over a Genin, made him feel good inside. So good that he might even decided to take another student under his wing if they were impressive like Kotaro was. He couldn't but wonder how his father or even his mother would feel about Garuda's decision. As he believed his father would be proud but his mother kinda disappointed in him associating himself we someone that was below Garuda.

Arriving at the gates, he gave a two fingered salute to his sensei before the man vanished away to go do god knows what. Kotaro on the other hand would be calling it a day, well as far as completing task went. Once he would arrive home before even catering to himself with food other than a simple apple, he would head to his workshop. There he would clean up Koga's blood stains and he would also reset the position of the kunai he had fired making the puppet prepared for combat and fully armed again. Hanging the marionette up, he then began to work on blueprints for another puppet he had in mind. This one being the one he hoped to have completed a couple days before he would meet up with Garuda again. Giving him time to also practice with the puppet.
