"So you're telling me I have to travel all the way to Kumogakure?" Junpei's voice sounded irritated as he spoke to the five men seated before him with his fingers interlaced and his elbows holding them up on his desk. Each of them his Seven Swords Expedition workers he hired back in Kirigakure, before he even met the previous Mizukage Neru. They had been gone for a month and only had returned to Junpei with knowledge on a single blade. He was peeved at the workers, but he couldn't blame them for he spent many years searching for them and still had not one in his possession, so at least they had information. "Alright then, I guess this would be an opportunity to test something out . . ." He trailed off as he drummed the fingers of one of his hands on his desk. It may be risky, but if the man he met back in Kirigakure, Sketh, had stayed true to his end of the bargain, then his name should have been erased from some Bingo Book's and also his status as a Missing Ninja should be revoked.

"Alright then . . . You guys will stay here to guard the village while I'm gone then. Like always Hikaru will be staying with me, so my father is in charge." He paused a moment making sure he covered all bases and then he nodded. "Dismissed." His workers stood and nodded to him. Though a bow was respectful, they knew Junpei wasn't so fond of the gesture. Each of them filing out of his office, he was left in there alone with only his thoughts keeping him company. Soon enough Hikaru would be returning from some errands or whatever it was he did, so Junpei began to take the time to devise a letter.

Dear Raikage
To the leader of Kumogakure, I am Junpei Hozuki, recently instated Daimyo of the Land of Sound. This is not a message asking you for anything other than hospitality and asking you to be aware that I will be visiting your village for a small deal of time on some personal errands. I do not plan to be in the way of you or any of your
ninja, this is simply just an alert so no surprises emerge in the future when I arrive.
Respectfully, Junpei Hozuki

It wasn't much, but it wasn't meant to be much, for it was simply to let the Raikage know who would be traversing the streets of his village so no surprises emerged. Just as he sealed the letter, there was a knock on his door. "Come in." His attention was still directed down towards the letter as he was sealing it. Looking up his assumption was right and it was Hikaru. "What ya need?" He plopped himself down on the cough which was a few feet in front of Junpei's desk and to his right. Junpei himself had stood and walked to the back window, before opening the small square of glass and whistling. Soon after a bird flew over to perchh on his finger and he slid his message into the canister on its back. "Kumogakure . . ." He told the bird and without hesitation it took off.

Returning to his desk he opened a drawer and withdrew a stack of papers. "I'm going to be headed to Kumogakure, but I'm gonna need you to watch the village for me . . . what do you think?" He looked up from the files on his desk to Hikaru who had his eyes closed in thought. "I'm guessing it's because one of those oafs located a blade huh?" Junpei nodded slowly to the him and in return Hikaru hummed. "Hmm, I know this is important for you, but leaving the village not even a month after becoming the Daimyo isn't the best idea ya know." Hikaru looked to Junpei who was scribbling something on paper before he looked up at him. "Yeah, that's what I thought too, but I was wondering if you'd see another side to it." The bubblegum colored hair of Hikaru's waved slowly as he nodded with a hand on his chin in thought. "Hmm, the only thing I see out of this is personal gain, not really much in it for the village or the villagers . . ." Junpei nodded as he understood then leaned back in his chair in thought. "Maybe I could send someone out there to Kumogakure to get it for me . . ." He put both hands behind his head as he stretched back a bit stressed from the whole situation. "Agh, but I'd much rather get it myself, I can't really trust anyone else to go after the weapon like I would . . . hmmm." Though he could have sent someone probably one of his workers out there for the sword, he knew once more people found out about the swords presence it'd become a shitstorm and he didn't trust that anyone else could get it. "How about instead of looking out after the village for me . . . you just play Daimyo for a while and pose as me?" Hikaru looked at him like he was crazy, but it was a solution to the problem. "Hmm, that could work and it'd also help me with my Anbu training . . ." The young Chunin stood and looked down on Junpei's desk analyzing the paper work. "Alright I gotcha." Hikaru nodded and Junpei smiled and nodded back. "Thank you . . . I'll be sure to bring you back a souvenir haha." Effortlessly Hikaru transformed himself into a perfect copy of Junpei with the Transformation Jutsu. "Eh, your eyes are a little dull, think you messed up." Junpei stated inspecting the transformation by leaning in from his seat. "Nope, ever since you became the Daimyo your eyes lost that weird gleaming look . . . you've gotten old bwahahaaa." Junpei was shocked to hear it, but he knew what it rooted from. "I do turn eighteen soon huh . . . yeesh I am getting old." He rolled with Hikaru's punches and stepped out of his chair to let Hikaru take the seat.

"Cool then it's settled. I should only be out for a week or so, so don't get too comfortable." Junpei was already headed for the door, but Hikaru stopped him. "Woah, you're going alone? I know you're pretty strong, but the type of guys that go after these swords are people like you. I think you may want a bit of back up at least." Junpei stopped in his tracks and accepted Hikaru's point. Just like the Chunin did earlier, Junpei plopped into the cough in thought. "Hmm, I'm not familiar with any of the higher ranking ninja, so I guess I'll make that a priority when I come back, but for now I'm not sure who to take with me. Usually you'd be my pick, but yeah . . ." Shifting his position he laid out on the couch staring at the ceiling while thinking who to take with him to Kumogakure.

OOC: This is now a travel thread.

Soon enough about an hour had passed and Hikaru found Junpei had fallen asleep. "Hey . . . wake up fool." Soon enough his eyes opened and he sat up on the couch. "Sorry . . . what time is it?" Junpei looked outside to get a gauge on the time of day, but the clouded vision from sleeping didn't do well to help him. "Almost six o'clock, at this point I would just head out alone, I don't hink you're gonna find anyone sad to say." Junpei nodded to Hikaru's words swallowing them and accepting them to be true. "Yeah, oh well. I'll be back as son as possible, don't let the village burn to the ground while I'm gone." Junpei stood and stretched before grabbing his black cloak and heading out the door. Tossing the covering on, with his haori on underneath, Junpei made sure his identity was pretty hard to decipher. The main feature he was sure to cover was his ivory hair since that made him easily distinguishable.

First he would pay a visit to his family's restaurant, Oni's Kitchen. Through the back door he would enter and explain to his people that he'd be gone for a while and that Hikaru was posing as him for the time being. Inevitably his mom got him to take some food with him for his journey, though he insisted he was fine. Now with nothing left to do in the Land of Sound for the time being he made his way to the village gates, still in the depths of his ebony cloak. He figured it'd be best if he started moving now seeing how the sky started darkening into a melted looking orange as the sun began to end its shift. "Alright then, I'm all set." He said lightly under his breath.

Nira had taken to more....social behaviors lately. In her interactions with her sensei as well as Ezra, she was curious as to just how far from normal the two deviated. Having spent the evening trying to socialize and even train with the other ninja she'd found sleep to be rather elusive. Never before having sparred with those her own level, she'd quickly found out she was not as weak as she perceived herself to be. The rush and adenaline of victory had been intoxicating and she'd not slept a wink, leading her to wander bout. It was by sheer luck that she spotted the cloaked figure heading to the village gates. Perhaps another of her peers? Then again.... She decided to investigate, a burst of speed propelling her toward the male. She'd been practicing moving silently while moving at her top speed, but she hardly wanted to try her luck, so she retained a more...normal pace, at least by her standards and remained diligently silent and almost wraith-like as she would move. Once she was close enough she suddenly sped up and shot like a pale bolt of lightning past the cloaked figure, skidding into their path, the sun finally setting a few minutes beforehand and the light of the moon bathing her in quite the eerie light. She had her cloak with her but the hood was down, allowing that brilliant white hair and her pale face to glow in the moonlight as she smiled and nodded in greeting. "Hello there stranger! Lovely night toni-" she suddenly stopped, peering at the features that were still visible. "......June?" she murmured, clearly not 100% sure.

Walking at a casual pace, he was almost out of the village when a dart of white moved passed him. He was a little embarrassed that he was caught off guard by the presence and hadn't noticed it coming earlier and a little more embarrassed when he saw that it was a Genin level ninja. "Crap . . . shoulda just used the transformation jutsu." He regretted his lazy actions, but would accept the consequences as he saw it was Nira. Not that that was a bad thing, he was glad to see her actually, but the fact she might blow his cover was a bit unnerving. "Shhhh." He was very hushed as he brought a single finger up to his mouth and looked at Nira so she could see his face as he gave a swift wink. Sensing for others in the general area Junpei only felt one other, oddly it was a high ranking signature, but for the most part only him and Nira were in the area. "I have some business to attend to in the Land of Lightning or Kumogakure. Not exactly good for the villagers to know that I'll be gone though, so I'm sneaking out. Keep it on the low yeah? I'll see you when I return." As he spoke he took a moment to take in her appearance and took note of how nice she looked in moonlight. He wondered if his hair had the same glow that hers did. As much as he'd like to ask or stay and talk, he really had to be going, so he bundled it all up in the form of a light kiss on the head then a wave as he proceeded.

Mission:

Kamina was strolling through Otogakure rather nicely. He was wrapped up in a plain black cloak, his anbu gear underneath that for some extra protection and his anbu mask on his face and his mask was partially concealed by the hood that draped over his head. It was easy to make your through little villages like this when you simply acted like you belong. He was going to see the newly appointed Daimyo of the sound, the notorious Junpei Hozuki, a former associate. Kamina had never actually met the man but today he was going to escort him into Lightning country. As much as he would rather be doing many other things that didn't involve work he needed the money to fund a few more of his precious experiments. Finally his attention was grabbed when he made his way into the Daimyo's mansion and he didn't even go to far before stumbling across a man who was all dressed up with barely any discernible features. The other person was a small girl, she was wearing a sound headband, a genin no doubt as she lacked the flak jacket. Of course he could be wrong and she could be undercover like the man but it was unlikely. Naturally he stopped before the two people but he wasn't quite sure what to say he decided to sound somewhat professional while still letting Junpei know who he was.

"Kamina Shurajo reporting for duty."

Nira was rather offended at the prospect of being left behind, her chest puffing out as she narrowed her eyes. Contrarily she rarely wore her head band, though at Junpei's explanation she lifted her hood, the rather large flap of fabric slipping over her head, the article now completely shrouding her entire body save for her lower legs. The only thing visible above were the glowing discs of her pupils, bright white and quite eerie in the darkness. "Ridiculous. As if I'd let you go alone. I'm going with you. Genin or not, I can still make sure we're covered if you happen t not be paying attention." She stated simply, her voice altered drastically, a hissing clicking noise rippling along her words in addition to the shift in tone, a result of her pressuring the seal with a fingernail and allowing her mandibles to fill her cheeks, those spiked serrated little gnashers perfect for changing her voice. She had to be careful not to push too hard lest she actually damage the seal, but it was...mildly convenient for the time being.
At the arrival of the other male she shifted her attention to him, those large pure-white eyes glowing through the darkness of her hood as she simply remained silent and shifted her attention to Junpei, as if to ask who they were. Beneath her cloak those extra arms on her shoulder-blades that she had never bothered to pull back into her body shifted, the vey tips of the pincers peeking out from the cloak like twin knives as she regarded the odd-looking man.

It didn't take much to realize that Nira was upset that Junpei was leaving the village, but he wasn't sure what the reason was. Do to him being alone or her being left behind, regardless he could tell she wasn't happy, by just the inflation of her chest and the way her eyes seemed to stab him with daggers of cold steel. As she spoke he wasn't sure if it was because he woke up barely an hour before, but the alteration in her voice made the male even more uneasy. Though he had no proof or true evidence it was her, given all of the odd things she was capable of it was safe to put money on the change in her voice was due to something in her clan. Opening his mouth to rebut, he stopped as he changed his mind about his answer and figured it'd just be easier and draw less attention to the scene if he just let her tag along. It would more than likely give him another person to look out for, but he could make a special exception for this one. "Ok, only this once and you need to be extra careful. This isn't like a trip around the village alright?" His tone was serious and though his business in Kumogakure wouldn't directly involve combat or anything of the sort, one could never be to sure, especially when it came to the artifact he was seeking out.

With Nira's anger hopefully being cooled down, Junpei still decided to hold off on any affectionate actions and odd enough another entered the fray. "That name's familiar." Junpei stared at the man for a moment and shamelessly sized him up, he was the chakra signature he felt earlier, but exactly who was he. "Ah . . ." "So I'm not the only one that remains . . . I'll be glad to allow you to tag along Mr.Shurajo." Junpei gave the man a light nod of the head remembering the name of the man was a name Saika had mentioned before, he was a previous Akatsuki member with Junpei. He'd never met him before, explains why he didn't recognize him nor his mask he wore, Junpei just prayed the mask wasn't an all day thing and this meeting was an exception. "Just when you think you'll be going somewhere alone an angel and demon swoop in to give you company, life just keeps throwing curve balls." He chuckled for a moment to himself looking at the two. "Lets get going yeah . . . wait, Nira do you need to inform your aunt you'll be gone?" Junpei wasn't sure how their relationship worked, but he could spare a few minutes if she was quick about it and hurried back if need be. Whatever her answer be, Junpei would either depart now or when she returned.

There was a smirk on Kamina's face although nobody could see it because of the mask. The reason he had worn it was because he didn't want to be bum rushed by pitchforks cause somebody had seen his face on a poster or in a bingo book. Thankfully enough he wasn't too worried about it as he was now in the presence of the Daimyo and if need be he could stop a wild pitch fork attack before it even started. In any case it was rather apparent that he didn't need to wear it anymore so he removed it, and placed it gently in a pouch strapped to his leg, while simultaneously grabbing a pair of glasses from it and placing them over his eyes. It was the phrase 'I'm not the only one that remains' that confirmed his suspicions. Not only proving the obvious facts but letting him know that Junpei doesn't know of any other survivors of the takeover. It was a shame really, he could of used that hyuuga's byakuugan and the Senju's DNA for many expirements. Pushing those thoughts out of his head he caught the last bit of Junpei's rambling only to be called an Angel while he called the girl a demon... That was rude but what could one expect from a former Akatsuki member. It was soon after this that Junpei was ready to leave the only thing to do know was to wait for the girl to prepare herself with something involving ants, which was another weird occurrence in itself, no doubt having something to do with the little blades he could see protruding from the girls back. Alas it was of no concern to him at the moment but the mutation certainly grabbed his attention. He still couldn't quite figure out what ants had to do with it however...

Nira simply smiled lightly as Junpei conceded to allow her to tag along. Those silvery eyes odding lightly in response as she glanced briefly in Kami's direction. The man removed his mask and seemed somewhat...interesting. He certainly had an odd look about him. At Junpei's mention of her Aunt she simply shook her head. "She'll know This wouldn't be the first time I left for a while unexpectedly....erhem.. 'For Youth's wind doth blow ever justly, a fickly thing flitting so robustly, a heart's content so hard to fill, to satisfy so young a will' She used to say that all the time when I was younger, I know it by heart." she chuckled, then turning her head toward the unfamiliar man, the nl thing visible would be those pale eyes of hers. A smile passed cross those lips though nobody would see it. "Don't know much about you. Just hope you can keep up better than Jun." she noted, playfully hinting around Jun being slower than her. Those extra arms shiftng slightly from the robe, those long bladed and barbed pincers visible as she stretched those arms.
