Summoning Jutsu 73m2

Name: Summoning Jutsu
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Ninjutsu
Used For: Supplementary
Element: N/A
Range: Within Arms Reach
Duration: Actual Jutsu 1 Post
Hand Seals/Charge up: Boar - Dog - Bird - Monkey - Ram
Description: This technique allows a ninja to summon an animal from a contract they have already signed to the battlefield.  After sacrificing a bit of blood, often from a bite or cut from the thumb, the shinobi weaves the hand seals before making contact with the surface the summon will appear from.  The summon is able to aid the user in battle or other threads, and has a distinct jutsu list, separate from the shinobi, that it may use at its discretion.  Any summoned creature will be required to return to the home of its species depending on the rank of the creature, as outlined in this topic.  Finally, the cost of the summon will be double the amount required for a jutsu of equal rank.  For example, a B-Rank summon will cost the same amount of chakra as two B-Rank jutsu.

These summons can be utilized in both non-combat and combat threads.  It should be noted that in a non-combat thread, the summons may not use any of their combat jutsu, or any abilities for an offensive or defensive purpose.  For a non-combat thread, the regulations on the number of posts a summon may remain active are not applicable.
Weakness: Canon

^ Will this be updated to the Summoning Rules as well?

We can talk about it, it just makes sense to me as some summons were used as messengers between villages. If they aren't being used for combat, then I don't see why the post restriction is necessary. We can also put this jutsu up on the summoning rules page and make it standard for all summoners.

Edited this technique to allow for summons to use jutsu that is not offensive or defensive in non-combat topics. For example, Jiraiya has called upon a scroll toad, who probably uses some kind of jutsu to store scrolls in his stomach. Same kind of idea. Looking to get this re-approved for the change.
