Much Missions [Shinsui]

His eyes snapped open as he knew today would be another day to do some of the fine D rank missions that the village had to offer. Today he would be doing them directly with his best mate Shinsui rather than the two splitting up as they normally did. He assumed this would be a perfect opportunity for the two to strengthen the bond that they already had in order to further solidify their friendship. And so he arose from his sheets and made his way toward the bathroom to get everything organized. As hot waster poured down on his body, he reflected of the day before, smiling at his antics. He emerged from the shower fully cleansed and stepped in front of the mirror to brush his teeth as well as shave away any unwanted facial hair; which was all facial hair. He plopped himself on the bed and looked down at the rather large now tiger laying in the floor before moaning out of pure laziness. "Ugghhh. Do we have to go do missions today Hobbes? I would much rather sleep in and get some rest after the long day yesterday." However, as usual instead of responding the cat would simply look up at him and then slump its head back down, continuing it's nap.

And so the two would then set out after constant force by Oboro on the Bengal Tiger to leave the house. As they walked, everything seemed hazy as Oboro truly was not fully awake yet. Everything seemed a blur and each of his steps were no more than a quarter of a foot away from each other as he was too sluggish to step any further. He hoped he would be cured of this grogginess as the two would perform their missions, however there was no risk factor in D Ranks so it served little concern to him.

He finally arrived as his office building with Hobbes close behind and there he would see his partner, Shinsui. "Good morning... or something..." He would say before his voice trailed off. He walked over to the mission board and took a gander despite the fact that he nearly had the D Rank missions memorized. "We should do the bottom five today... together this time." Naturally Shinsui would agree and accompany him along the mission which Oboro was happy with. The sooner the two completed the missions the faster he could return home to his nap.

And so his secretary handed him a parsel to be delivered not far from where the two were now. As the two walked, Oboro would take about recent occurrences in his life as well as village plans with Shinsui. He planned to used money that the village had been taxed of to set up defenses around the village. "What would you think of animatronics defending the village? They have a natural resistance to most elements as well as the ability to be sealed with chakra. They would surely act as loyal guardians of the village." However, after Shinsui's reply, the two would have arrived at their destination. At that point, Oboro would remove the small box from his jacket pocket, as it seemed to have something small such as jewelry inside. The instructions said to knock on the door as opposed to simply lying the package on the doorstep as one normally would. As the door opened, Oboro would say, "Delivery for Ms. Maki." She responded, sure to tell the Otokage that that was indeed her before claiming the package. Oboro smiled as she opened it, pulling out a ring and a note that seemed to read "Will you marry me?" from the small jewelry box. She squealed in excitement as she had just been proposed to. Oboro smiled as he awkwardly backed away with Shinsui, muttering something about love. However, the two could not stick around due to the fact that they still had four missions to attend to in a short amount of time.

The wolf man Shinsui slept in the nude as always, waking up to the small amount of birds singing outside of his window. A normal wake up call for the young man as he normally woke up at this time of day, when the sun just rose from behind the mountains. He got up from his bed and walked over to his closet where he would collect his clothes which he'd be wearing for the day. The black short sleeved shirt, his dark grey pants and his socks and shoes. After this was done he of course went for the usual morning shower to get rid of that stench he gained during the night's sleep causing him to sweat. His species sweat more than that of his pseudo image, the human species. The cold shower he took woke him up completely from what was still left of his sleepy daze left behind by the night's slumber. He got dressed and headed downstairs where he would consume his usual breakfast meal created from a collection of eggs, toast and bacon. This was an everyday routine for the young prince who would one day become the king of all the lycans in the world. Though a king needed money, it wouldn't just be handed to him on a golden platter, contrary to popular beliefs.

This was the reason he once again decided to do a few more D ranked missions with his partner slash leader of the village of sound. Not wearing his ANBU clothing today he would head out looking much more casual than the people who knew him were used to. After all he wasn't the ANBU captain anymore, he was a much more important person than before as he was now crowned the leader of the land of sound, Daimyo Shinsui of the Raikan clan. This was just another step closer to his goal of becoming a King. He could already smell it, the title would soon be bestowed upon him one of these days. He wouldn't just lead the pack in Otogakure, but lead the whole clan to their destiny. That was what he truly desired deep within in his heart, much like the First Alpha all those decades ago. Shinsui was the direct descendant of the First Alpha, so it was only befitting of him to lead the wolves and the rest of the world back to balance and peace. He would do anything to achieve that goal, even if it meant raising money by doing these petty missions he used to do as a genin.

Shinsui was reaching closer to Oboro and the Otokage office as he already left the house with Draco walking next to him on the ground towards their next start for these missions. Draco has grown a bit, he has gotten faster as well now which was why Shinsui had no need to carry him around like he had to before. It seems Shinsui's training and example of being the Alpha, even for this wolf pup, was working out well. "Come now Draco, we need to pick up our pace. We can't be late again, Oboro is waiting for us. You and Hobbes could become great friends too you know, this time you could be working together if Oboro and I work together and don't split up." Shinsui said to his small pet walking beside him as he looked down at the wolf pup. They indeed started to pick up their pace, and eventually arrived at the Otokage building not long after Oboro and Hobbes had. He was greeted by his partner, and so out of respect and for the sake of just being a nice person and good friend Shinsui also greeted Oboro "Good morning." As he nodded in respect to the Otokage. "You could do that, but I prefer the traditional method of having shinobi defend for us. If I use my technique, real shinobi won't even be loosing their lives. You know how I feel about unneeded death. I want for us all to live together one day, where we won't kill each other just because we're from different places. I'll make sure that dream comes true one day, where peace is in the hearts of everyone and no one dies by the hands of another. I'll do anything to achieve that goal.. And no one will stand in my way.. You know that right, Oboro?" Shinsui explained to Oboro as he asked about the village defenses, his expression all so serious as he went on about his vision for the future. Though it was also a statement, and maybe even a way to let Oboro know that not even him should stand in his way, if he does then Shinsui would be forced to deal with the problem.. Hopefully Oboro would choose wisely and let Shinsui do what he does.

Shinsui then continued with what they were there to do, the D rank missions. They continued walking with the parcel they needed to deliver to a women not far from the building they started at. When they arrived, Oboro handed the parcel to the women and saw that she was being proposed to. What a nice thing they just did, helping a man propose to the women he loved. It warmed Shinsui's heart. But they needed to move on so he asked Oboro the following "What's next, Mr. Otokage."

Shinsui expressed a great deal of how he cared for the lives of the villagers. However, animatronics seemed like a better method to further preserve the lives of those shinobi, allowing them to avoid a potentially lethal fight completely. However, Oboro believed that shinobi truly only shined in moments of life or death, meaning it would be better for them to solely fight off attacks and hone their killer instincts to use in the next battle to come. Should they be slaughtered, this applications would be a complete waste however. There were indeed pros and cons of the animatronics plan, however it was no real issue. Oboro then thought of ways that the city of Otogakure could make a little extra money on the side. There was always the option of drug trafficking, smuggling as well as other nefarious acts. There were hitmen and assassins. There was a broad spectrum of ways to make a little Ryo on the side, though many of them he doubted Shinsui would approve of. While Otogakure was not necessary stipulated to the rules within the Land of Rice as they were able to create their own rules, Oboro did not wish to anger his closest ally. So instead he would keep his trap shut as they made their way to the farm.

While on there way, Oboro took off his shoes, placing them on the ground to stay for the rest of time, or until he returned to the spot at which he lay them. Hobbes looked at him peculiarly however quickly went back to observing the likes of Draco rather carefully. While Hobbes had been around dogs before, he had not seen  many wolves as they were not densely populated in the area. The feline would meow at the pup every now and then as if asking it a question or making a statement. Oboro didn't pay the two much attention and was just happy that his cat was able to behave itself in public. Its attitude was rather contrary to how it acted while it was alone with the Otokage. It was much more violent and mean to the man at those times. Not to mention the fact that Hobbes would never go more than an hour without napping unless occupied. However, that did not concern the Uchiha at the moment. He simply stared at his pale feet as he walked down the sandy or rather dirty road leadiong to the farm of which the two would always be forced to go when working with the animals. The red barn could be seen in the distance, though he had to admit that he wasn't too excited by the fact that they were near. It would mean that the two would have to tend to the animals once more and Oboro was not a huge fan of animals living on a farm. He preferred the likes of domestic city animals such as Hobbes. Draco could be included in that scenario as well. And upon their arrival, an unnamed man wearing what seemed to be the mask of a doctor spoke to the two at the door about what needed to be taken care of. Apparently there was a long list of deeds that needed to be done around the farm. However, that was when he noticed an odd smell coming from within the house. "Er. What exactly is that burning smell coming from in here?" He would ask the man with the doctors mask. The man with the mask immediately took a defensive position that would lead nearly anyone to have suspicions of what he was doing. "We're not doing anything in here!" He would exclaim in a bit of a frantic tone, leading Oboro to believe the opposite. However, he did not care too much about whatever the man was getting into and would rather have focused on the deeds that the two had been summoned for.

"Okay, so we need to feed the pigs, the horses, the cows and the... children?" He said as he looked at the list with an odd expression before peeking back up at his partner with a confused expression. Feed the animals huh? And... the children... "It also says that we will need to clean out all the dirt within that of the hoofed animals. There seem to be a lot on this list. We need to wash the chickens and horses, because it seems as if they have not been cleaned in quite some time now. They are likely to be covered in filth, or at least so the note says... This is a lot Shinsui, I'm not really looking forward to any of it anymore." He said. Though he would swallow his sleepiness as well as his pride and go to work on the farm for a day. Or rather a few hours, but either way it felt a bit below him. As a Genin he felt the same way in the past. He had always been stubborn when it came to doing dirty work unless it was primarily compromised of killing or assassinations. That dirty work was actually his favorite kind of dirty work. However now he sat at the foot of a cow, using a kunai to dig out the dirt from within its hooves, making sure to get out all the seeds which constantly stuck in crevice. As he was bored to death, he needed a more fun way to pass the time and decided he would sing to entertain himself. Life without music was a life wasted after all. As he sang, Hobbes watched him with endearing eyes and meowed along every now and then. Oboro simply continued digging out the filth from the cows, grimacing as he was forced to remove feces as well.

Soon after, he made his way to the chicken coop, prepared to scrub each of them clean as he was instructed. However, they were all over the place, scattering at every given second. He was forced to catch one at a time as well considering he couldn't hold any more than that. Eventually he became frustrated by the fact that they were all moving around so aggravatingly, insistent that they would not be captured by the likes of the Uchiha. They simply would not sit still and so he was forced to use his full speed and strength to subdue each of them before dragging them to the bucket and towel and giving the cocks a nice scrubbing. (:3) He would maker sure each and every one of the chickens were clean before leaving the area. He looked sadly at his pet tiger as the tiger seemed to be hungry for the flesh of the chicken. His face immediately went into one more stern as he mentally scolded the feline, making sure he knew that his feline thoughts were wrong for the moment.

It seemed like their next mission would be to care for farm animals and things like that to which they would be getting paid for like the previous few missions they had been doing for the last few days. As long as Shinsui was getting paid he would be more than happy to help out even if it meant farming. As they walked over to the farm they would be working at, the wolf man laughed a little inside. It was ironic, using a wolf to care for the farm animals. Usually they were feared near farms as the woilves always came and stole animals, tearing them apart for a succulent meal late at night. It was ratger strange even now for thee male Shinsui to be doing these D ranks for money however it was a needed task and he was also giving back to the community with these small jobs, and hey who can say no to a few extra ryo in their pocket? Shinsui needed that money and wouldn’t let the thought of doing genin jobs get him under, no he was working for his hard earned cash. The days of being a Prince with little to no money was over. They needed to hurry however as they still had a few more missions to do and they were wasting to much time on doing them one by one and their pace was a little slow considering they were both quite fast and could just charge through these missions like nothing, but of course their pets weren’t as fast and they had their pets with them so they had to keep them in mind. They finally arrived at the farm where they would be starting their next job for some more ryo. Shinsui started by getting some food for the horses and pigs, he took a big sack to carry in each arm, one for the horses and one for the pigs. As he walked through the farm he would hand out the food to the respective animals. The horses came first as they were the nearest from where the wolf started, then came the pigs. He poored their food into their big rectangle shaped food holding farm stuff that Shinsui has n idea what they’re called. The animals came and started to eat. Shinsui would then proceed to getting some supplies to clean their cages, such awful things the Prince must do for some ryo in this village. However he kept positive and continued his work. The farmer better be thankful after this as he started to clean the pig cages which took a few minutes but it was finally done. The next few cages he had to clean were those of the horses, at least they weren’t as filthy as the pig cages he thought to himself. Shinsui sighed as he saw that tese farmers were lazy as hell, so lazy that Shinsui and Oboro had to go feed their children as well. He headed into the house and started to cook up some breakfast for the lazy farmers’ children. They better enjoy this meal as he seldom cooks. The usual was made, eggs on toast and some baconon the side, with an added feature to the breakfast as orange juice was also included. He called the kids so they could enjoy, where Draco was then given a small snack of a strip of bacon. “All done here, Oboro.” He would yell from the kitchen to his partner tosignal that the mission was completed and they could move on to the next missions at hand. “Come Draco.” Shinsui said as he also noticed the bacon made his wolf pup even hungrier fopr some of those juicy but alive pigs on the farm.

It took little to no time to finish taking care of his horses. After about five or so he moved on to the goats who did not cause as much of a problem as he expected they would. Normally goats were rampant but these seemed to be quite docile, comfortable with the man using a knife to dig out the dirt from beneath their hooves. The bleated every now and then as if showing a sign of pleasure upon the scraping of the blade against their feet. IT almost seemed as if it was blissful for the mammals. The pigs however were a different story as they ran wild, not giving Oboro a single opportunity to hoist him. However, it seemed Shinsui had already tended to the lots of swine so he didn't spend too much time on them. It was now time to feed the exact same group of animals at the request of their owner. The feed bags were all located in the same section of the barn, towards the upper right corner. The Uchiha and the tiger each made their way there and retrieved the feed for the selected animals. Since he had already fed the horses, he would now be throwing seed tot he chickens. It was a bit amusing how they each scrambled for the food as if they wouldn't be allowed any if they did not retrieve it before the others. Perhaps this was the way of the chicken, only the fastest get the food required to remain fast. It was almost like an endless circle that many people in the human world already experienced. Those of power had the means to gain more power and anyone wishing to become one of power had to train infinitely harder than those with direct connections. And so did the chicken, they had to become stronger than the chickens that were given strength based on strength. Funny how everything parallels.

He thought about it a bit more before their work had been finished up. However, upon their finishing he gestured towards Shinsui who seemed to have already been done with his bit of work. They managed to wrap up those three missions early in the morning but seven still remained. It was a good thing that the dogs they had to walk were near them because traveling across the village repetitively was not the goal for the day. To double up on missions, Oboro proposed a plan to Shinsui. "Instead of doing one mission at a time, we could probably stack objectives. Instead of just walking the dogs, lets walk them up on the walls in order to patrol the village at the same time and save work. IT would probably be infinitely easier this way." He said with a grin toward his comrade. Finally at the houses, the dogs were quickly handed to the two men, They would each receive two dogs or massive size. Oboro himself had a Saint Bernard and a Cane Corso. They were beasts indeed. However, Oboro would find his own way to maneuver the grown pups up the walls and give them a nice walk. However, before making it to the walls he made sure the both of them had "done their business" so a guard on the walls would slip in dog shit or something of the matter. Each time the two attempted to bolt off in the opposite direction of the Otokage's plans, they would be hindered immediately by the leash upon their necks. And so the wall was walked with the animals in hand. Everything went as smoothly as anticipated and the pair walked for about half an hour before making their way back to the homes of the pet owners. The trip was short but the dogs seemed to give lots of resistance towards returning to their lazy owners. Hobbes, as usual, strolled immediately beside Oboro.

After returning the pets, the two were given a package from one of the neighbors. Though the package was addressed to the Otokage so Oboro simply looked at Shinsui and gave a childish grin. It seemed the two would have to follow formalities and so they would return the package to the administration building. On the way, Oboro would attempt to spark up conversation with his friend. "So, exactly what goals do you have planned for the village?" He himself had his own plans and was curious as to what his adversary had. He needed to be sure that the man he was working with had the village's best interests in heart.

The four of them, being Shinsui, Draco, Oboro and Hobbes, were walking towards their next missions as Oboro suggested they do more than one mission at a time. It wasn't a bad idea, taking the dogs on a walk while scouting the village walls. They'd ensure safety as well as get the dogs their needed exercise as the owners requested and are paying for, which was a good thing as they'd be saving time and effort. They took a short while before arriving at the dog owner's houses, each of them picking up two dogs which meant they'd be getting a nice amount of ryo. The dogs were big and it was clear why their owners wanted them to take regular walks so they could release some of that energy. They had tons of it, pulling on the leash as much as they could but Shinsui just tugged back each time with a twist of his wrist to keep the dogs at bay and as to not loose them. Their owners wouldn't be very happy with the village's top shinobi if they lost their dogs.

Shinsui kept walking with the dogs and made sure they too did their business like Oboro did with his two canine assignments. With that done Shinsui would lead the two dogs up on the wall as there was a nice big staircase on the side of it on the village's side of the walls. This already got some of that energy released, it was clear as Shinsui observed them. Draco too was getting tired, much more than that of his bigger counterparts the canines as he was still a pup. The wolf man couldn't let his pup continue to struggle up the stairs so he picked him up and carried him on his shoulder as they continued to walk on the walls and observe the village's surroundings. "I see you two got what you needed." He said as they got off of the wall eventually after a while of walking around the entire village on the walls. "You're right Oboro, we saved a lot of time." Shinsui said as the two dogs were sitting beside him with his hands holding the leashes. From a third person's view it would look like Shinsui was the master of these dogs the way they sat on attention, one on each side.

They continued to walk the dogs a little bit more as they headed to the canines' owners to hand the dogs back to their real masters so they could continue with these specific ten missions they decided to do. The walk was short lived as hey finally arrived back at the house of the first set of dogs. They were siblings. Oboro and Shinsui handed one of their dogs over to the owner so they each had one more dog on their possession to return home. The Alpha continued to walk to the next house where they would drop off the last two canines and continue with their all so lowly ranked missions. He handed out a sigh at the thought of doing six more of these missions, but he knew that it was for a good cause; RYO!!! Eventually the two would arrive at the next and last house, where Shinsui would hand over the dog he walked and Oboro did the same. These two however weren't siblings nor even family. They were simply just belonging to the same owner. "What's next?" His lips would move in harmony with his vocal cords as he asked Oboro the next mission. Oboro would tell him that the next house was right beside this house, they were neighbors. How coincidental. Shinsui giggled at his partner. "You sure know how to pick em." These missions distracted him from his feelings he had towards Oboro, but inside he still felt unsure. Draco's head would rub against the neck of the wolf man to comfort him as he could feel that something wasn't completely right with Shinsui. The former captain smiled softly at the affection given by his pet.

The next mission involved them going back to the administration building where they would deliver a package to none other than Oboro himself. He listened to the question his partner asked him. After thinking a bit about it he replied. "Well Oboro. I want for all shinobi to be safe from each other and not just Otokagure's citizens. But of course they come first. My people are here, and I will protect them as it is my duty as the Alpha and Prince of my clan. I guess I don't really have plans for the village, I just run the land now. But I'm sure you do, right?" He explained where he stood with the village as they continued to walk towards the administration building to deliver this package and get another payment for the job they did.

Due to the physical prowess of the two, the next few missions would be a bit easier to motion through, however Oboro still found himself reflecting on the words of the Raikan. The man did indeed want the best for the people, just as Oboro did and so he approved of the wolf man. While he had not disapproved of him before, he simply wasn't so sure where his motives truly lied. "I... I'm really happy to hear that Shinsui. You have no idea what it means to know that you are on board with the plan." The Uchiha would say with a genuine smile. He was happy for now. However, now was no time to celebrate because they had four missions to continue. However, Oboro wouldn't mind speeding through them because he had what he wanted from the current session. Now he was just in it for the Ryo. "Well, if you don't mind, I'm going to use all of my shinobi prowess to finish these missions in style!" He said as he gave the signal to rush off to the administration building.

When he arrived, he placed the package on the doorstep before sprinting to the lawns that needed to be mowed. Luckily, he could collect the special honey bees that the man across town was asking for as well. He would have to pull them directly from the air, however if he focused his chakra in his palms, their stingers wouldn't be able to pierce his flesh. He managed to mow the lawns with one hand while catching bees with the other. Soon, since there were two of them, they would be finished with the lawns. And so Oboro ran across town once more to deliver the bees to a mister Yonakoma who for some reason had an insect collection.

"Now, time to remove some weeds!" Oboro would say before looking at Shinsui with a wink. If you don't mind, go teach the children some stuff at the academy. Nothing too violent now." He said with a chuckle. He would handle the verminous weeds if Shinsui would be so kind as to teach the kids as little something new. And so he made his way once more to a garden within the village. There wasn't generally a mass of weeds within the gardens, however the fact that they existed at all was the really tasking part of removing them. They were said to spread incredibly often and most owners of fauna never took out the time to remove the things killing their plants and the Otokage found that a beauty going to waste was absolutely despicable. So he truly didn't mind being the one to snip away the creatures responsible for destroying the beauty within this village.

While he forgot to tell Shinsui where to meet up after the missions, he was sure that Shinsui would know to meet at the administration office to sign off on their missions. He would be waiting for him with Hobbes in his lap.

Shinsui agreed to go teach some of the children at the academy a few basic techniques such as water walking and tree climbing. He headed towards the academy with his wolf pup Draco to get this done and over with so he could do something much more productive like a higher ranked mission for the village of Otogakure. His pup walking beside him wagging his tail as he enjoyed the walk. "Draco you wanna get another bath after this? We can get some others to join too for some more ryo." Shinsui asked his little friend next to him. An answer was given with a nod as he shook his head up and down from the pup, he was definitely getting smarter by the day as Shinsui taught him. They arrived at the academy where Shinsui would start to give the boys and girls a lesson in the art of water walking, followed soon after with a teaching of tree climbing. It took a while but they eventually started to get it, which meant his job here was done.

The Raikan Prince then took another walk to a few houses he knew had owners willing to pay to get their dogs washed and fed. A few knocks here and there on the doors gave him some dogs to work with. He started to get buckets with water and clean towels to dry them off with, as well as a big bag of food for the canines. The first dog was up, followed by the next few as he washed them, rinsed them off with clean water and then dried them with the towels he had gotten. Finally was Draco where he put him in the bucket of water with some dog shampoo and washed the wolf pup. He was used to ths by now and didn't struggle to get out at all. This was followed by the pup being rinsed off in the next bucket with clean water, and then being dried off with a clean towel to make sure he doesn't get sick nor gets filthy again from dust sticking to his coat. With this done he decided to walk the dogs some more so they too could get some exercise. The dogs were put on leashes, four dogs in total, and then Draco's leash where he would accept it so nicely. Shinsui was unsure if it was just manners or the instinct the pup had from him being an Alpha. Though it mattered little as long as it was working, his pup was beginning to listen well to the commands of Shinsui and that would be a great trait in the midst of battle.

They walked around the block a few times before finally heading home and delivering the dogs back to their owners. They were happy to see the dogs were clean and fed as well as the fact that they had some nice exercise to release some of that extra energy they had. The owners paid him well and he decided that he had to head back to the administration building where he would receive his final payments and meet up with Oboro Uchiha again. However he noticed he only did nine missions so far so he decided that he too was going to collect some bees for the insect collector. It was a strange thing, collecting bees as a hobby and paying people to do it for him. Shinsui was much faster than a simple bee and could easily capture a few if he was careful enough not to harm them. As he walked to the administration building he would notice a bee here and there, and capture them, holding them in his hand as he continued to capture more. Soon he would near the administration building and see that Oboro is standing outside a house handing something to an old man. It was probably the bee collector, so he headed towards the house and gave his bees to the same man. The old man was happy to see that he had gotten two supplies of bees on this fine day in Otogakure so he paid the two of them their ryo. When that was finally done he would continue to walk to the administration building which was just around the corner by now with Draco walking beside him wagging his tail like always as he walked.
