“Land of Wind… huh?” Zero said, cocking her head to the side as she read the message that had been delivered in the form of a winged beast, a bird to be more specific. Her blue eyes looked over the piece of paper once again before ultimately crumbling it into a mass that barely resembled a ball before casting it aside. She had every intent of burning the message, but such a task could be completed later and at anytime, so it could wait for now. Under the cover of a tree, she would gaze up at the afternoon’s sun, contemplating rather or not she should depart for this Land of Wind or sit put and wait for orders from her mother. Usually this decision would had been easy, for she would had quickly decided to take the latter option over the former, but not this time.

Zero was bored, had been for a couple days now and it really showed, for the child clearly couldn’t find anything to do. This was a drastic change from her behavior when she had first arrived to the village upon being released from her icy prison, having ran rampant within the village for she was curious of what it had to offer. But, Oto had lost her interest for she had basically done everything that could be done within the village, which thus led her to become bored. Sure, there were instances that her interest would be piqued, such as when she learned a new ice technique or when she trained with her mother, but such things are always short lived.

So yes, the amnesic child that was the legacy of the Tōketsu clan was considering departing the village for a country she had never been to and had only heard of in passing. It had sounded appealing at least, and with the message she had received; there were some things to be done within that particular land. With a soft sigh, she would close her eyes, humming peacefully to herself for about a minute or two before reopening them, gazing down at the umbrella that lied upon the ground. With a soft smile, she would place her hand upon the wooden handle before pulling herself onto her feet, stretching out her arms before retrieving the discarded paper from the ground. She had decided what she would do, and that would be to go to the Land of Wind.

Far too excited about finally getting out of the boring village, she would make her way to the village gates, her umbrella shielding her from the sun, totally forgetting to tell her mother of her departure.

Akira

Akira

Akira would be sitting outside of the gates of Otogakure with her back against the wall. She was looking out into the distance. Well, as far as she could anyway considering the bamboo everywhere. The reason for her sitting in this place would be that she was trying to decide what she wanted to do. Akira wanted to leave this village because this place was making her... soft. She needed to get out but she had another problem. If the girl left the village she would be doing it without telling the one she loved. Akira would of course tell her dear princess and maybe she would come along. However, before leaving she had to figure out where she would go. There were so many options and so much that she could do. So, as the Kaguya sat she would sigh.

After a period of time, Akira would see a bird land by her leg. As she looked it over she would see a letter attached to the leg. The girl would pull it off and read it. She would read it and nod as she tied it back to the birds leg. Well, if she didn't know what to do before she did now. Akira would watch as the creature with wings flew over the gate. She wondered where it would go next and who it would send the message to. She would continue to look up. Her attention getting caught in the clouds. There were a few and sometimes Akira just liked to see what shapes they took. This activity kept her calm and was very relaxing.

It had been a few more minutes and Akira had finally lowered her head. She continued to look forward until she heard something. It sounded like footsteps so Akira would look in that direction only to see a girl exiting the village. That girl would be Zero. Akira would blink and then stand. It looked like the girl was going to leave without speaking with her mother. If she hadn't wanted to leave herself she might be slightly upset. "Hello Darling." Akira would say now standing with her back still against the wall. "Where are you going?" Akira would say as she stared at the girl.

Ten feet out the gate, probably fewer, Zero would halt, turning to face the woman she called mother, a smile upon her face. It was at that moment that she would realize that she was about to leave for the Land of Wind without telling her mother, on top of not knowing how to get there, but that matter wasn’t as pressing as not telling her mother of her departure. With the umbrella resting on her left shoulder and both hands on the wooden handle, she couldn’t scratch the back of her head sheepishly, though she did chuckle nervously as her mind formulate a proper excuse. To lie or to tell the truth, those were questions that raced through her mind, but she would ultimately decide to tell her mother the truth, seeing no reason to lie.

“Hehe. Land of Wind, momma. I got a letter that promises fun there. Er. Can I go?”

[Sorry for short post. Sis told me that people already in Suna are waiting on us, so made this post quick.]

Akira

Akira

Akira would continue to look at the girl. She noticed how nervous the child looked. She would also notice the way the girl laughed nervously. It was almost as if she didn't know how to answer the Kaguya's question
It was actually quite amusing for the woman but her face stayed cold looking. Akira would not allow herself to be seen as weak in fromt of this child although, she claimed to have no emotional connection to her. It was rather hard to tell because one moment she would be close to the girl and the next she would sort of push her away. However, the girl didn't seem to notice because at the end of the day Akira would be right back close to her. It was almost as if the Kaguya did all these things to protect the girl and keep herself looking strong. So, with all this on her mind Akira would smile at the girl and walk closer to her. "Only if I can go too. I need some time away from this place." She would look around a bit as she spoke these words.

“Deal!” Zero said without much of a second thought, twirling her umbrella several times as she smiled at her mother. “Er. How do we get there?” She would ask after offering her mother a place underneath the umbrella, a sheepish grin upon her face that would tell her mother that she genuinely didn’t know how to get to Land of Wind. Something that shouldn’t come as too much as a shock since Zero hadn’t been outside of Oto since being unfrozen, and with her amnesia, not knowing how to get to the other lands wasn’t very farfetched. So, with those words out her mouth, she would wait for her mother to lead the way to Land of Wind, where the duo would be meeting up with the other members of Akatsuki, members that Zero had only heard of in passing but had never met before.

Akira

Akira

Akira would smile at the girl she liked to call her Princess. She knew the girl would of course accept her offer and that was a good thing. Akira was ready to get out of this village. With the next thing she heard Akira would laugh. "Oh dear child, How did you expect to get there on your own?" Akira didn't mind if the child answered or not. The question was really just thrown out there to give Zero something to think about. The Kaguya would begin to walk down the road away from the village of Otogakure. "Stay with me my Princess and Ill show you how to get there." Akira would smile as she contined on her way. 'Land of Wind... here comes Akira.' These were her thoughts as her journey began.

Zero chuckled, for really there was no reason to answer that rhetorical question. If she had embarked towards Land of Wind she would had definitely ended up somewhere that certainly wasn’t Land of Wind, though the chances of her noticing were quite low. A curse of amnesia, though one that could easily be cured if she simply looked over a map, but that sounded not only boring but tedious as well. No matter, her mother would show her the right way, and with that thought in mind, she followed Akira from Oto to Land of Wind.
