Much needed Rest [Resting Topic - Raphael]

Raphael stood in front of his home and looked into the eye scanner so that it could read his eye. After the routine process the machine beeped and the gate began to open. Grey clouds began to roll in blocking the sun and making everything look duller. They often did this, sneak up on you when you thought that it was gonna be a nice sunny day. Right before Raphael stepped onto the porch of his Japanese style mansion home his began to drizzle, as soon as he stepped onto the porch it began to full on rain. Raphael looked back and blinked. With a sigh of relief Raphael proceeded to the bathroom. He walked slower than normal since he was at home and didn't feel like doing much.

He could smell the aroma of food coming from the kitchen. This made him smile, something he never did outside of home, because he missed his mother's cooking. He hadn't been home much lately because of his constant training and him always taking missions. He continued to the bathroom and waving hello to his mother after passing by the kitchen. Raphael eventually reached the bathroom and slid open the door lazily. He stepped into the bathroom and slide the door shut just as lazy. He stretched and yawned loudly after entering the bathroom. Raphael then pulled a basket forward and removed his clothes placing them in the basket. He slid the basket back into place before opening the door to the bath area.

Raphael began to run the water for the bath, as he did he went over to the shower and turned it on, prepping it for himself. By the time the shower was prepped the tub was just about full. Raphael walked over to the tub and cut it off after it was full. He then walked back over to the shower and began to wash himself. His skin was dirty; he hadn't been able to shower due to his constant training, so this was relaxing and much needed. Raphael began to think back to when the men had taken Sarah just to provoke him. He wondered who they were and why they did what they did.

After Raphael had gotten done with the shower a walked over to the tub and got in. He slouched down in the tub, leaning his head back he rested it on the edge of the tub. He closed his eyes and sighed in relief before opening them again. Raphael stared at the ceiling. He raised his hand into the air like he was reaching for something. Maybe he was reaching for the future. The news of the upcoming Chunin Exams actually had him stressed. What if he failed, how would that make him look? He placed the back of his outstretched hand on his forehead. Raphael sat up moving his hand and staring at his reflection in the water from the tub. He held right right hand over his right eye. He then moved his hand so that it covered his mouth. A drop of water fell from his hand like someone free falling from a airplane. It hit the water sending ripples through Raphael's reflection. Raphael stood up and stretched before getting out of the tub. Raphael stretched when he was fully out of the tub. He walked over to the towel rack and grabbed one to dry off. After he finished drying off he exited the bath area.

There was another basket with some fresh clothes in it. Raphael smiled because he knew his Mother had brought these in here because he had forgotten to get some. Raphael had slid on the clothes piece by piece. It was nothing more than some underwear, a pair of black shorts, and a T shirt, but Raphael felt comfortable in them. He grab the basket with his dirty clothes and put it into the bin for dirty clothes. He then put the basket back and left from the bathroom. The rain from outside could be heard beating down on the roof of Raphael's home. It sounded like tiny rocks or something were hitting the roof. Raphael rubbed the back of his head and headed for the kitchen. Raphael didn't realize how late it was until he stepped into the kitchen and his plate was sitting on the counter wrapped up. Raphael smiled again has he prepared his food. Minutes passed and it was done, Raphael sat down at the table and ate the food. After finished he went and put the dishes in the sink and washed them. He then cleaned up the small mess on the table before exiting the kitchen.

Raphael walked to the back of the house, to the back patio area and sat down and watched as the rain come down. It was peaceful even though the rain seemed chaotic. Raphael thought about the exams, would he be good enough? Who knows what kind of strength genin of other villages have. Raphael would continue his training so that he would have no doubts in his mind about any of his challenges ahead. Raphael held his left hand up to his eyes. "I will prove my worth."
The words rolled of of his tongue smoothly. No one was around to hear such a rarity, as Raphael talking. Raphael stood up and headed to his room. He arrived at his room which was the largest in the house and laid down on his bed. "I think i'll try my hand at a contract..." Raphael paused and he began to wonder which species he should make a contract with. What summons are powerful, but haven't been contracted with a lot. Raphael was going to try to make a contract with one of the hardest species to make a contract with. He kept thinking before it finally popped in his head. Enma... Raphael smirked and rolled over in his bed eventually falling asleep. Raphael was happy he finally got to relax and actually be home for a change. He knew this would change once he ranked. He knew he would be home even less than he is now.
