Letter to the Hokage

The Chunnin exams had left a great deal of work upon her and her ninja. The Hokage, Lucifer Uchiha had only begun looking over her ninja's records to make sure they were in tip top shape for the Exams. She would be personally attending each fight that included her ninja. Death will not occur whilst she attends, well none of her ninja will be dying. Sipping some of her tea a light tapping sound made her swivel around in her chair only to be greeted by a dove. The dove held a something that looked like a letter. Letting the dove in it flew gracefully around her room before dropping the letter directly on her desk. Lucifer looked up at the bird watching it fly out before opening and reading the contents of the letter.  Her dark eyes scrolled over each word as she sipped her tea. It seemed the Mizukage needed two deserters hunted down and... Killed?

" Hokage-Sama! You've retuned. There is much to discuss. Please take a moment to look at the bingo book. Also a few natives from the Land of tea arrived while you were gone. They spoke of a group of high ranking ninja  terrorizing their land and taking it over. They come seeking help. We let them stay here until your return."  Lucifer looked up from the letter and at Kagura she was as lively as ever. Smiling she took the Bingo book from Kagura and set it on her desk . Getting up she poured Kagura a hot cup of tea adding milk and sugar. " Kagura-San something interesting was said during my time with the Kazekage.. She spoke of a war simulation. The concept is interesting and could prove useful to our ninja... On the subject of the Tea Natives have them along with Rain-San of the Medical clan come to my office immediately. " Lucifer's voice was as calm and motherly as usual as she took her seat and opened the Bingo book. It was awhile since she had looked at it but now it seemed to call for her immediate attention. Sipping her tea she nodded as Kagura bowed and set off to collect the people, closing the door behind her.

Flipping the pages of the book she stopped at a ninja she knew all too well. Her warm smile melted away like butter as she looked over his crimes. She almost wanted to chuckle at the newly added one. " Oh? We are plotting now? And taking over a village? This must be what Kagura was referring too."  Continuing to sip her tea she waited for the arrival oh both parties.

Today had been one of those days, Unsure as to why he was doing what he was doing, His research leading him to dead end after dead end. The hospital top floor would shudder violently under the strikes that forced the wooden desk to shatter into hundreds of tiny pieces, This naturally was the norm, The hospital had been reconstructed to suit the medical chiefs slightly abrupt outbursts hence the entire first floor belonged to him. A full floor office sexy right? Anyway what intrigued him was that he was no longer alone. The chakra was familiar, Kagura direct aid to the Hokage. So she had returned had she. What you think the villagers would not notice that there leader had been gone for almost 6 full days. It had been awhile but the shinobi had done well keeping the place geared up and now with her return they could allow there guard to be let down. Anyway Kagura's chakra would get to the door and before she could even knock the medical chief would be standing there. You see Rain was supposed to be on his way to Tea but they had to double back Vegas had came down with some sort of vanishing bug. With the hokage gone he did not feel safe leaving the village without a medical officer.

"Rain-San, The Lady Hokage wishes for your presence" Only rubbing his eyes and nodding softly before walking out the door Rain would watch as Kagura scurried off into the darkness of the lower floors of the hospital while Rain took his usual detour rooftops roooftops lampost ground, yup a nice quick efficent way to get to the Hokages offices. Sliding himself down the pole and landing on the ground Rain would then need to turn the corner and walk up the small alley to come out yes you guessed it directly in front og the office. A quick nod to Jan the gate guard whom would wink at him. A slow pace would finally take him to the door of the hokage, A small rap would strike the door yet while knocking he would simply walk in. "You summoned me Lady Hokage" Rain would say his eyes darting to the female leader of Konohagakure.

Sipping the last bit of her tea she sighed happily. The land of Tea lived up to its name and she was glad they came to her for help. Not only for the people's sake but for the tea as well. Closing the Bingo Book she pulled back the letter that was sent too her. She thought the Mizukage would be a bit more merciful but she was wrong. The two deserters were nothing but mere genin! She couldn't let this information out into the village to just anyone. Placing the letter aside she heard a knock on the door, looking up too see one of the people she had summoned. She was glad Rain came first because she wanted to get something out in the open before sending him on his mission.
" Yes. Rain-San you are an exceptional ninja. The best in the village. And you are also our best Doctor. I've come to somewhat of a...... Mid-life crisis so to speak. It seems I no longer desire to become Hokage.... It may sound strange but people assume that I've become Hokage willingly.... This is not the case.. I've had to kill many people to become who I am today, and it was all in the name of my father. Standing up she glided to the side of the room and plucked the hat symbolizing her Kage position. Her hands slid around its edges as she glided over to Rain, placing the hat ever so gently upon his head.
" Honestly I don't know anyone better suited for this position. In short my dear Rain-San. You will lead this village. I have nothing but complete and utter faith in your ability to lead Konoha. If you ever need me I will be here for you. Your first test of leadership arrives soon.." Smiling as if she were the proudest parent in the world Lucifer took a few steps back to look upon Rain and await his words.

Silence blew in after the statement from the current hokage, Could he be hearing this right, Was he just granted the coveted spot. The leader of the entire village? Could he handle the pressures of being not only the medical chief and the hokage or would one over power the other, He loved his work as the medical officer but as the Hokage he could do much more good than he could, It looked like his decision to come back instead of going to the land of tea was a favourable one but now he was left with a rather large decision to make. Many thoughts went thourgh his head, He was lost for words until one flew from his lips. "Yes" He would say softly to be honest it was so soft that it would be almost un-hearable. So with a cough of his throat he would smile softly, "If this is your decision Lady Hokage i accept, I promise i will not let you nor this village down.....but what do you intend to do? he would say softly his mind still trying to process what had just happened

Smiling she turned around and grabbed the letter and the bingo boom from the desk and handed them both to Rain. "  I'm going to be here and there. Mostly gathering information and doing things in the name of Konoha. I won't be in the village as much but I certainly won't abandon it. Also... Make sure to have a pleasant talk with the Kazekage.. She's wonderful I'm sure you'll enjoy her presence. " She spoke to Rain as a mother would speak to her child who was attending his first day of school. She walked over and poured him some tea adding milk and honey setting it on his desk before shuffling to the door. " No one knows you are the Hokage just yet... Word won't spread outside these gates quickly unless official statements have been made to reach the other villages.... Use this time wisely dear.
With that said she walked out of the office and right into Kagura and Two others. " Hello Kagura-San. These must be the Tea villagers.. The Hokage is inside please go in.. Kagura escort these two inside. Hokage-Sama will explain everything to you if he wishes.. Otherwise, goodbye for now my dear friend.
Kissing Kagura on the forehead she walked away with a light smile on her face.

Shockingly, Rain did not stop the female from leaving, She had essentially said her good byes and left. She was as much a wanderer now yet would always remain within the hearts of this village, So it seemed his hokage duties would start. [color=cyan]"Kagura, Could you send out an official statement informing the shinobi of Konohagakure that the tenth has left and a new Hokage has been appointed, Give them the information they will need thank you. He would say nodding to the peopel of the tea as the door shut and naturally a meeting began.

Houws passed and with the meeting over Rain was to be fitted for his costume the hokages robes....what a pain. Finished he would have time to himself.
