Looks Description: Eden in general has a very athletic, muscular body type. He has always been active in many sports such as equivalents to soccer, football, swimming, baseball, and track; he excelled especially in martial arts. Due to these many activities he participated in, he has a great amount of stamina and is extremely fit. Due to his constant martial arts training, his bones became very sturdy and his muscles grew tough and toned, which takes hold of 93% of his entire weight, which is 185 pounds. Muscle weighs naturally more than fat, hence the extra weight for what he looks like he weighs.

His family tree is accustomed to breeding average-sized individuals, men ranging from five feet eight inches to six feet five inches, and women ranging from five feet two inches to five feet eleven inches. He fell to the high middle end of the average height of most men in her family, which his height was six feet three inches (6'3"). He gained his height specifically from his father as he too retained the same height when he was at his prime.

From his mother, he retains her hair style, hair color, and eye color. As in the picture above, he has very long, pitch black hair that comes down to the bottom of his thighs and the style of it is very wild, comparable to that of a savage beast. His eye color is a deep gray-gold that gives away an aged yet mystifying gaze. His skin color is slightly tanned, though it is more pale-ish in shade than tan.

Despite the way he presents himself, he is actually very proper, though he doesn't really care what those around him think about his usual attire which is pretty much just a pair of jet-black, breathable pants and a pair of wooden geta though he is also covered from his nose to his feet in bandages. Eden tends to do things like bow and use proper greetings to others he associates with from time to time. It is more a matter of kindness and comic relief that he uses her manners. In terms of kindness, well...that is self-explanatory; Eden treats people around him the way he wants to be treated, so he tries his best to be polite and "proper."

There are scars that riddle his body but are not visible, due to the bandages he wears to cover all of them up. The only places he does not have scars is his face, his hands, and his feet.

Personality Description:

Eden cannot be described in just a few sentences. He is indeed very complex and it is often too difficult for most anyone to understand who he is beneath his hardened exterior.

  • At a glance, he can be judged as “serious” or “proud,” as he has a very proper form of posture and always manages to keep a very seemingly strict facial expression. The way he walks indicates that she is very graceful, even though he doesn't take his appearance very seriously. This does not mean, though, that he does not express happiness or laughter or sadness. This general and common facial expression with him is not so much "strict" but more along the lines of "professional," or "experienced." He is by no means unfriendly, however.

  • In terms of speech, he is very fluid and calm in his speech which would tell people around him that he holds education in very high regard. He speaks as though his voice has different musical tones and depth, which indicates that he is not boring to talk to and can manage to hold peoples’ attention. On the topic of speech, he does not often speak and only speaks when necessary. He always says very wise things so when he does speak to those around him, everyone always tends to listen.

  • To the average stranger he is taken in with an instant respect just by the air exuberating around him. However, some shy away due to this very feeling, leaving the man alone and unconnected with some of the society around him. This is because, due to his experience in his home, he has amassed a great amount of achievements throughout his time alive thus far. Because of said achievements, he is somewhat feared by the people he protects every day, though he is not hated. It could be compared to watching a lion tear apart its prey. Even though the sight of it sends a sense of fear deep into your heart, you can't help but still admire its power and ferocity.

  • Underneath his exterior lies a great many things. One such thing is that he is extremely depressed but never decides to show such emotions as it would bring undesirable attention to him. On that subject, he does not like getting too much attention. He would much rather keep to himself than talk to the people around him. Because of that, he is to a certain degree shy, though he doesn't show it to those around him.

  • Eden, by nature, is extremely loyal and trustworthy. Every one of his few friends knows this about him without a doubt and Eden is like this because he believes that if one cannot trust another, there can be no peace at all. The same goes for his loyalty, as he believes that those who cannot be loyal to one another can never find friendship. Eden is definitely someone you can count on in and out of battle, and he would make for the perfect kind of friend. Sort of.

  • Taking into consideration the stress his heart (emotions) places on him, he is usually very kind and for the most part happy. Those who know him well enough often get confused by this trait of his as it is unknown even to Eden how he manages still to be happy and composed while under so much emotional stress. This is most likely, to his knowledge, due to his experience in this time of war and strife around his home. Without the experience he has, he would have likely cracked a long time ago from all that he has gone through and seen.

  • SPT - a term created by Eden and is abbreviated for "Stupid People Tolerance." This term was derived from the certain people he had encountered over the years who were exceptionally idiotic and annoying. He categorized this trait in terms of five levels, each level clearly defining how far up the tolerance meter he is. The first level is meant for people who were very easy to tolerate or had no true moments of utter stupidity and are on Eden's good list. The second level is meant for people who had their moments of stupidity but it was humorous and was acceptable stupidity as friends would when joking around. The third level is the neutral zone where people who Eden deemed right in the middle and were beginning to go into the bad area. These people still had a good chance of coming back to the good list. The fourth level is meant for people who were quite annoying and he could only take so much of them before he punched them. These people still had somewhat of a fighting chance to get onto Eden's good list eventually. The fifth level is meant to be reserved for the select few who were so annoying that he has put them on a death list. These few people have little to no chance of getting on Eden's good list.

Likes:

  • He loves to get into fights. Even he does not understand why he does, considering his occupation leader, but he accepts it willingly. He loves fighting because for one, it allows him to forget about the outside world for a time and gets him unstressed about his...situation. Another reason, though strange, is that it is a very odd turn-on for him. Something about fighting and being in the moment gets his blood pumping; gets him riled up. Strange, but true.

  • Eden loves all kinds of sports. More so, he loves being active which is the main point of this "like." Being active makes him feel like he has purposes for getting up in the morning or getting dressed. It is motivation to keep himself healthy and strong. This is most likely his most important because he feels like his life has material meaning which is very good and it reminds him that being active will make him noticeable which means he won't feel lonely all the time.

  • He loves music. He grew a vast appreciation for it over so many years. Music for him is a way of expressing what lies beyond the surface of his being and that is what he loves most about it. He took up the instrument known as the violoncello and fell in love with it almost instantly. The deep tones, the very warm yet sad sound that resonates from it when played. Reminds him of himself.

  • He loves gaining knowledge, as well as gaining insight on the ninja world's history. When he wasn't sleeping or doing paperwork or going out on missions, he was reading and exploring the light and dark path's of this land's past. By traveling to the other villages and visiting their vast libraries, he learned much of the strife as well as the peaceful times that passed the baton back and forth across time. Learning new things in general excites him and it is a habit he received from his late father.

Dislikes:

  • He dislikes boredom. The term "boredom" for him is more defined as not doing something that he would deem important to him or worthy of his time. Something like waiting for some type of results is not considered boredom for him. Boredom for him would be something like being at his own or someone's home, sitting around, not waiting for anything, and having nothing at all whatsoever to do. Anything outside of that is not considered "boredom."

  • Eden hates people who desire to harm or kill just for fun or without genuine cause. This kind of thing directly goes against his moral beliefs and his sense of justice. These kinds of people are the kind of people Eden hates most and they are those few he would truly enjoy killing for the sake of cleansing the world of their filth.

  • He hates being controlled by others. He does not take lightly to people who seek to try and control his actions and/or decisions, especially since he is a man who has seen and been through much history. Tried to control his actions and/or decisions, though the few times it did happen those people never were again able to see the light of life.

  • He dislikes people who do not desire to change themselves in order to make themselves better. To Eden, that is simply implying that they do not care about their lives or well-being which irritates him because regardless of ones issues in life, one should strive and work harder to change so that they no longer have to worry about trivial stress, suffering, and mental/emotional pain. What is the point of living if you can't better yourself; make yourself stronger, is what he says often to people who are not willing to change.

  • Eden tends to dislike people who can't relax. It gets on his nerves when others get tense all the time because then nagging begins and the atmosphere spreads to everyone else in the room, making things unbearable which annoys him. Some who are like that find the short side of Eden's tolerance meter and get scolded often. Though, it is not scolding and is considered more along the lines of a "pep talk" to give those certain individuals the courage to want to try calming the hell down and relaxing. He finds himself to be one of those people who doesn't relax often, but he tries as hard as possible to just relax. Otherwise it annoys the crap out of himself.

Catch Phrases: "You only lose what you cling to." / "Even as a solid rock is unshaken by the wind, so are the wise unshaken by praise or blame." / "Wear your ego like a loose fitting garment." / "What you are is what you have been. What you'll be is what you do now." / "If you live the sacred and despise the ordinary, you are still bobbing in the ocean of delusion."

Nindo: Civilize the mind...but make savage the body.

History:

Harsh Beginnings

Born an only child, Eden had a rough life ahead of him. For the first ten years of his life, he was treated in extremely harsh ways. For instance, from the time he turned five, his father would send him deep into the wilds outside the village in order to hunt and gather herbs and other needed materials, hence how he received many of the scars that ravage his body. His mother would teach him to always keep his head held high, no matter what his father put him through. He also taught him to complete simple tasks and chores such as: cleaning, washing and drying clothing, cooking, and weaving cloth.

When he turned seven, his father began training him by forcing him to do push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and made him complete tasks such as: going to the marketplace while having chained, weighted, iron balls attached to his ankles. He also taught him hand seals, starting with the most simple jutsu: kawarimi, bunshin, and shunshin (however shunshin wasn’t mastered until later years, as it is a bit more advanced than the others). All during his seventh year of life, his father put him through the same tasks every day, from morning to dinner time.

The next three years were rather calm and it seemed as though it was a time of relaxation for Eden. He grew into a fine young boy and when he turned ten, it was time for his father to unleash hell on him. Having learned simple jutsu and uses of hand seals, Eden's father threw him into the fire and began teaching him to fight and survive. Sparring became very common and second-nature to Eden over the next five years. On top of sparring, his father had him use the terrain throughout the village as his training dummies and every day, twice a day, four hours in total every day, Eden would punch, kick, head butt, use his knees, elbows and feet to hit the terrain in order to strengthen and condition his bones, muscles, and skin. For another two hours every day, his father would use wood from the trees that lay scarce throughout the area in order to hit his back, torso, and neck area for the same purpose. This training continued for five whole years, and not a single day was ever skipped.

At the age of fifteen, Eden was ready to begin taking on real missions and he also began sparring with the other high-ranking shinobi of the village.

The Scar On His Face

In one certain mission, he was ordered by a jounin of the village to track down two men who ran out of the village with many valuable scrolls from the headquarters of the village and kill them. It didn’t matter how, so Eden ran in haste to find the traitors and exterminate them before the scrolls were lost forever. Ten minutes after running out of the village’s gate, he caught the traitors’ trail and began pursuing them at full speed. In ten minutes of pursuing the targets, he managed to catch up to them and when he was able to see them, he used a simple shunshin jutsu to move in front of them and stop their advance. When he did this, the two men set down the scrolls on the ground and took out kunai. While they were doing this, however, he was already moving around them to make the first kill while they were paying attention to the bunshin clone he had made just before he had made his appearance known to the men. Just as the bunshin clone dissipated, Eden quickly turned the kunai in his hand around, aimed the tip of the kunai to the back of the man on the left’s throat, and shoved it dead center through his neck. At the cost of doing that, though, the other man slashed and cut Eden’s face straight down on his left eye, which the man had barely missed. Putting the pain in his face to the back of his mind, he swiftly took out another kunai and stuck it directly into the man's heart. When the second man fell, Eden gritted his teeth, picked up the scrolls, and ran back toward the village as quickly as he could, knowing that he couldn’t stop the bleeding on his own. When he reached the gate to the village, two jounin-ranked shinobi received him, one taking the scrolls to the headquarters and the other taking Eden to the village’s hospital for immediate care. The scar left on his face would be with him for the rest of his life, though it faded until it was hardly noticeable to the naked eye.

The Next Two Years...

After receiving the scar and getting out of the hospital with it stitched up, Eden began his training again, only this time he doubled up on it. He thus trained every day for the next two years eight hours a day, which was basically a work day for most villagers. Though, when he wasn't training, he made time to read books and take his quiet walks. At the time, he didn't feel it was necessary for him to be talking to people when that time could be spent on training, reading, or taking quiet walks. The training caused his scars often to reopen, which in turn meant that he had to constantly visit the hospital to get it re-stitched. A year passed with the same daily routines until Eden decided that his body be permanently covered in chakra-enforced bandages that kept his stitches in, even if the scars were hit directly. Within the following year, his stitches became permanently healed in the scars. However, he decided that he still wear the bandages because he wanted them to be a reminder of the training he had gone through thus far and the hardships that his father had put him through. Through the last of his seventeenth year, Eden trained hard every day still. The only difference this time around was that he began to open up and try to speak with others around him. He began showing people that he wasn't really all too bad and many people realized that. Over those last months, many people grew to understand him and even become friends with him, though there were still people who tried constantly to avoid him. Nobody ever celebrated his birthdays. In fact, he didn't even celebrate his birthday. His eighteenth birthday was similar but not completely, as people said "happy birthday" to him on that day, which made him smile for the first time in his life. That moment encouraged him to continue talking to people so that one day he can have friends just like everyone else, while still being able to train, read, and take his walks as he usually did.
