Description:
A formidable kekkei genkai, the abilities of the Yuki Clan manifest as an ice release that creates powerful shards of ice. The ice has an unusual reflective property which is another trait of the kekkei genkai. Members of the Yuki Clan can pass through the reflective ice and escape into it. The ice can be molded into various shapes, most commonly the shape of mirrors. However, one with mastery over the technique can mold it into various shapes as long as they do not exceed the size of the initial ice summoned. If the terrain is wet, the ice may freeze the surrounding water depending on the skill of the user. A good example of this technique in work is the technique used by Haku in which he molded twenty-one mirrors out of the ice and surrounded his opponents with it. As long as the ice does not exceed the mass of twenty-one human human sized mirrors, various shapes can be formed. No matter what the shape, a member of the Yuki clan may always move through the reflective ice- even if it is shattered. The ice is extremely durable and resistant to fire jutsu for the most part. Only S rank Jutsu may break the mirrors, making them a formidable defense. Advanced users may also sharpen the ice for more offensive purposes should they so choose.
