The wood clone with Taiga's intentions in mind would be heading towards Konoha, just for a little test of his abilities. Why because he had just taken over the Land Of Rivers and he was feeling damn good. Why Konoha? Because it was most similar in his opinion to the climate in Rivers, Land of Rivers had forests and just a uneccessary supply of rivers. Sunagakure didn't have any forests nor rivers, Iwa was simply a rocky wasteland, Kumo being high in the mountains didn't really sound like a place Taiga wanted to just go just because and Taiga himself was already headed for Kiri, not to attack but he was still headed there.
