No Times For Jokes (Kain) [CLAIMED]

The ANBU has been called for a very important mission outside of the village leaving it to the care to much inexperience ninjas like Kain. On the outskirt of the village it has been reported there have been many bodies lying there after the newest mission ended. It has been reported that some of those bodies may have been from Kirigakure as a lot of ninjas have died that day. Due to the absent of many ANBU ninjas, Genins like Kain have been ask with this task of retrieving the bodies back to the village. The mission itself is given by the Mizukage which made it as important as many other mission.

Kain has been order to check on the west side of the village for the any sign of bodies and before the start of the mission, each ninjas have been brief on about the possibilities that many enemies ninja may still be lurking around the outskirt, prompting them to always taken caution and identify the status of the bodies before rushing into them.

Kain hops from trees to trees until he reached the area where from on top of the tree he can see clearly a mass number of bodies on the ground. It is sickening and hard to be describe by feeling on how gruesome it was. " Is this all because just a difference in opinions? Many have lost their lives and probably a son, a father, a husband had died because of this." thought Kain as he cannot believe that sometimes was needed a large sacrifice like this. Up to this point, Kain never like the idea of killing someone especially for an undetermined reason. He himself has suffered experience of his parent's death and he just cannot look on how he saw right now. Human's lives are being thrown into pit of death just for the sake of their village.

However the case might be, Kain still has to finish his mission given by the Mizukage. Failure is not an option for him at this point. Kain leaps on the ground safely and check on one of the bodies that seems that his front part of his face was facing the ground. Kain slowly turns away the body to see the emblem he wore on top if his forehead. Kain is shocked for a moment when he saw the man face is completely rotten and disfigured. From the man's hands Kain can sees that he was gripping a piece of paper in his hands when he died. Kain proceed to take paper and what content within it almost made Kain cry out of sympathy. The paper is a piece of photo of that man and a woman and a little girl. Kain assume that the women and the girl in the picture is his family. This kinda reminds Kain on how his family used to be when his parent still alive back then. Kain proceed to take jump across the trees to another bodies and check on them.

For the first few hours, it all seems like a waste of time, when he found none but suddenly he found one who was from the village. The ninja looked young as he is probably a chunin when he died which is a waste." You have got so much to do!!" thought Kain as he sees the body in more sympathizing manner. As he ready to take on the bodies back the village suddenly, a gang of ninjas start to shows up ambushing Kain from around him. " We've got you!!!hahahaha" laugh one of the ninjas.

From what Kain could seen the number of enemies ninjas is about three and all of them are skilled ninjas. "Probably these guys are the one that killed him." thought Kain as he looks upon the body beside him. Kain is ready for any possible situation that can come out to him right now as he is about to cast his jutsu suddenly one of the ninjas just leap on to him using kunai on his right hand to slash through Kain's chest area. Kain just calmly try to dodge each attack and he succeed in doing so much to the enemies' annoyance. " Damnn, you're good unlike the last one we fought, he is no fun. Huuuh , nevertheless, we have had enough torturing him in and out. Hahahaha." said the ninjas as they burst into laugh having not even a slight feeling of sympathy towards the one they killed.

" You creature!!" said Kain as he jumps across the trees and lauch a free high kick at the enemy making him fall due to unbalance feeling he had. "Damn you!! Kill Him!!" scream the enemies's leader as he seems to be embarrassed by all the commotion. He seems to be taking in charge of the ninjas here as Kain could seen and Kain thought maybe if he take out the leader, his subordinates would run away so Kain focuses his attack on the leader.

Kain focuses his hands and conjured tiny balls that he throw at the enemies resulting in a small impact of explosion which make the enemies to scattered around him." Now is the chance!" said Kain as he try to hide himself from the sight of the enemies in midst of the chaos. " Don't let him get away!" order the leader as his subordinates quickly chase after Kain in the forest. Kain uses his knowledge of the forest as they are still in Kirigakure area, the enemies should not be so familiar with the geographic of the land. Kain uses this to his advantages and lure the enemies into the Misty Swamp that is filled with many carnivorous man eater plants. Kain hide in the water as the ninjas quickly search his way through for Kain. Suddenly within a few minutes, Kain's location is blown and one of them direct an attack by sword to Kain's stomach but before he could a large plant coming up for the water quickly consume the ninja with one bite. Kain uses this opportunity to run away but still chased by the other ninja that survived the swamp.

The ninja quickly run over some shurikens towards Kain mid air, Kain has managed to evade some but still sustain some damage after some hit him right on his back. Kain thought he has managed to run and hide from the enemy. Thus, he lean over a tree a try his best to stop the bleeding on his back." This is not a major cut, I should be able to close it within second." thought Kain as he hover his hand on the wounds right on the back of his shoulder. The blue coloured light emitted from his hand is very soothing and slowly but surely it closing the cut forbidding any more blood loss from the wound. As Kain try to recover enough, suddenly a blast of fire come by right one from the back of the tree. Kain noticing it at the last minute, manage to jump off the tree evading the attack. The tree is half destroyed and burned by the fire. " Damnmit, Fire Technique: Fireball" said the man as he spout out countless fireballs towards Kain. Kain is not be able to do much but dodge most of them.
As one of them nearing him he quickly use his wits to play like he is hit by the fireball and dead. " Huuh, you're dead already!!Hahaha" said the man as he kick Kain's body for a few seconds before turning his back on Kain. Kain quickly uses that chance to snap the man neck killing him immediately on the scene without any hard effort needed.

" Now, i need to get back there!" said Kain as he leap back on the tree heading towards the location of the body of the man from Kiri that he found. But what awaits there is another ninja, the leader of the two ninjas earlier that he killed.

" Hrrrm, you've come" said the man as he put one of his feet on the bodies on the ground. " I  have been waiting for you. You're quite strong huuh managed to kill my subordinate" said the man but Kain keeps silent. The man then unsheathe his sword that he keeps to his side and rush towards Kain. Kain proceed with his movement and use his Popping Butterfly technique which creates explosion along the way of the enemy. The enemy calmly counter the attack with his sword technique." He is impressive!" thought Kain as he try to figure out some other ways to defeat the man.

The man continue with his next action by slashing his sword coated with fire across Kain but Kain swiftly dodged them like nothin. The man angry shot out a fireball from the tips of his blade. Kain is at blank point and just a few feet when he cast that jutsu making escape is impossible for Kain. Kain is hurled backward and some of his clothes is on fire as he suffers first degree burn on his entire arms in an attempt to block the fire from reaching his face using his arms.

The enemy is surely at his advantage at this point as Kain cannot use any ninjutsu in that condition. The man kick Kain off the ground and keep on taunting him about his lost. " I am not weak!" said Kain as he cast off a sphere of chakra ball at the tips of his index finger and shoot out a blast at the enemy in a very close range. The blast creates white immersion light that blinded even him. After the light has fade out, Kain discover the enemy is dropped dead on the ground as the blast created hole right through his head.

Kain slowly pick his way up and stand up as he try to bring the body back to Kirigakure. The body has been sent to the morgue. The man's family is really happy that Kain could retrieve that body for them as although he had died, at least they still have his body to mourn into. Kain is rewarded by the village and Mizukage for the mission he undertook and Kain has learn to master his techniques even more.
