A Good Lesson (Kain)

*Knock, Knock* As Kain knocks on the door with mild power not intent to destroy it yet want it to be loud enough for the one inside to heard him coming. " Come in please." said the man inside the room. Kain enters the room and meet with an old man who is apparently one of the professor in the ninja academy. " Hahh, Kain I need a favor to ask you. Hrmm but first of all would you help?" ask the man with a serious tone. The man has always been known for his seriousness in taking things and his jobs. He would always be that guy in the room who would not laugh at any jokes given to him. " Sure, sure but what work are you talking about?" ask Kain back trying to get the information out of him. " Well you see about the academy..." said the man trying to explain Kain from top to bottom regarding his problems and what he needed help with.

After a few minutes, conversing a talk with the man Kain finally get out of the room but he has some weird desperate expression on his face which means he is not that happy with the job been given to him. At first Kain thought of declining it but after a few weeks ago, Kain owned that man some money, he thought that he would do a bit of work for him ending up promising him with many things which is one of those things is this.

Kain walks over the corridor with a very bend moody looking gestures and expression on his face.

Kain got told about a boy in his class who is pretty much talented and is one of the top students in his class but unfortunately he had some nasty feeling he hid inside of him and quite big headed and hard to be control even by the his teachers. " Many things had been done but he seems to always returned to his old self not even a minutes after that. huuhh" said the man as he sigh over the problem. " So Kain would you accept it? We really need you help for this as you're our last hope." said the man as he begs Kain to help him with the mission he task to Kain. Kain is force to promptly nod due to his do not want to disappoint the man. Plus, he had made that promise, so he had to fulfill it.

Kain is asked to go and teach the boy stated about what it really means on being a ninja and he is ask to enter the class on the shuriken throw test. Kain decided to defeat him to put him back to the surface of Earth and stop being a jerk to everyone. Kain knocks on the door as then he opened the door and walked into it.

"Good morning all, I will be your substitute teacher and today we will have a shuriken throwing test." said Kain with a uncomfortable smile that he puts on his face to look friendly even though he had a hard time doing that. " Huhh, where Prof?" " I dunno" those are the questions that have been thrown and lingered around the house at the moment as Kain slowly approach the the students making them all to be shaking in fear and nervous. Every students in the class seem to be having fun time except one boy who was very serious even from his beginning. " Thats the boy I'm looking for." thought Kain as he looks upon the boy from afar.

The boy got that hatred feeling inside of him as Kain could seen and from his eyes Kain could see his hatred being reflected to the world around him causing him to react on his own way that cause troubles to people around. The boy has a great potential as a ninja and maybe one day he will succeed as being one of the best ninjas known in Kirigakure and also the world of shinoi itself. But to achieve that goal is not that easy. First, Kain had to fix and guide him the right path and only then that he can use it to achieve that goal. The boy just win a lot of fight between his classmate on the test having surpassed his other friends greatly as if he was a Jounin himself much to Kain being surprise by his accomplishment. " I need to say hi to him, and let's see if i can get to him." thought Kain as he walks closer to the boy from behind with the intent to say hi to him.

" Huum, hello you have got talent there you know." said Kain trying to be friendly but at the same time not boring. " Yeah I know, it's pitiful how all the kids here are stupid enough to think that they want to be a ninja but does not even know how to throw kunai." reply the boy in a rude manner and supposedly bragging himself than the others. " You're not going to go far if you behave like that, you need friends." said Kain trying to advise him but to no avail the boy does not seems to budge a little bit. " How about I fight you to see which one of us are much stronger." said Kain to the boy. " No need, I have fought a genin before and seems like he is fuckin weak just like you." said the boy again bragging about himself. " Are you scared?" said Kain trying to taunt the boy into fighting him. " Okay but if I win never disturb me again and quit calling yourself a ninja." said the boy as he finally turns around and look at Kain face to face.

Kain give hid nod to the boy as a sign of him agreeing to the deal they made between the two for the outcome of the competition. The boy is pretty much confident that he could defeat Kain based on how his face expression as Kain could sensed that the ability to underestimate a one foe and opponent can be an end to one ninja and Kain feeels like he needs to teach that boy now rather than never.

" So who is going to start first?" ask Kain to the boy asking for his opinion for that matter of turns they going to take. " Let us go by the usual way, paper, rock and scissor." said the boy with confident. Both Kain and the boy take his way and play the paper, rock, scissor games to pick their turn to start out the throw. Meanwhile, the challenge pretty much have got to all the students in the academy as a flock of students start to group by the side of them, surrounding them to watch over the very interesting outcome that going to come by later. Some of them, even bet their money on who is going to win the fight whether is Kain or the boy while some others cheering for the side they like.

" Rock, paper, scissor." said Kain and the boy as they both simultaneously show their hands." Looks like you will go first. What a bunch." said the boy as Kain got the first turn followed by him taking the second turn. Kain calmly walks over the platform in order to throw the kunai. He meditated for a really quick second to focus his all his senses toward the target and breathe slowly to adjust his aiming. In the split second, Kain quickly thrown his kunai with a very sharp accurate accuracy and fast speed, looking as if it was invisible to the naked eyes. Kain then remembers his first kunai throwing activity back in his old days when he was still in the ninja academy. " Heeey, put you grip on, Kain. If you going to throw like that, you are never going to hit your enemy and you will never be a ninja." scream his teacher as his throws all get into the side way completely avoiding the target practice doll that he supposed to aim at.

After the activity was over, everyone left the field except one, and that is Kain for all night he had to keep practicing it to make it better as he knows that of all in the class, he has got the lowest aptitude whether in academic or practical uses of jutsu. He was the guy that always on the lowest score in the class and always got bullied because of that especially after his parents' death. Until that girl came by.

One day, a girl someone from another village got moved here as she said her village was destroyed and it has been rumored that it was because of their kenkai genkai to control the wind. Her clan is said to be able to bring storm with just a scream and can also control hurricane and wind current which as a result, many main villages have regard them as a threat and their clan is and hometown is destroyed. The girl name is Sara. Sara Misake, that is her name. The first time, Kain saw him, he do not really care about him and just wondering around while she is introducing herself so no much is known about her in Kain's perspective. She has a green-yish hair as Kain could see and a grey pair of eyes. Seems like everyone from her clan seems to have green tinges or shades in their hair. It is unknown to Kain why.

One day, as usual Kain practicing his throwing when all the others had go home, having dinner with their family and such but there is nothing for Kain to go home to since his parents died, so instead of going home, he goes for an extra practice at the field. The kunais Kain thrown, keep getting off and never hit their target although it has been 4 months since Kain train it but to no avail he still sucks at it. " Argghhh, why did I keep missing." scream Kain out of frustration when suddenly someone come by the door, making the sound as the door is opened. Kain looks on the door to discover a girl named Sara Misake, spying on him all this time. Kain at first was a bit angry for that but after a while, he calms down.

" What are you doing here...?" ask Kain seeking for an answer. " I have always been seeing you practicing hard your throw. If you want I can teach you..." reply the girl blushing as her face gets red. " Ohhh, really? Ermmm are you good at it?" said Kain as he feels embarrassed over the fact that the girl had been watching over him all these time. The girl proceed to the platform and after taking a deep breath, she swiftly throw the kunais with a great precision on the practice target dolls hitting all of them. Kain is very shocked by the girl ability to do so and start to befriend the girl ever since that as the girl teach Kain all he needs to know about kunais throwing.

Over the years, Kain and Sara have trained together for whatever it is regarding ninja improving each weakness by training together. Sara has taught Kain on how to properly control his kunai greatly and Kain in the other hand had taught her taijutsu which she really weak in. Sara even reveal her clan secret on be able to control wind, and also reveal that probably her aptitude in kunai throwing was coming from that ability of her that she can contol wind current. Thus, allowing her to navigate the kunais in the air as she throws them. " My clan have always been discriminate because of this power. Power that destroy hope and people." said Sara as she tells Kain her clan kenkai genkai. Because of this power also Sara had always has troubles in befriending other people as people keep avoiding her for that power that they thought demonic. Kain in the other hand does not feel threaten at all by the girl's presence and know that she is in the same situation he is in right now. Sara's parents had died in the coup d'etat that supposedly kill all of her clan members except one who survived and that is Sara. For the sake of Sara, She has been advise not to reveal any information regarding her past life to other people.

It has been 3 years and they have both become genins, Kain and Sara had been together. They both have formed a very strong bond between them strengthening one another when one feel weak. Sara helped Kain in producing and learning new jutsus while Sara who always been bullied for her weird hair had always been helped by Kain who drove off the the one who bullied her.

One day, in the evening, Kain was at the field practicing as usual and Sara was at her home, resting for that day as she got fever that day. Suddenly, a group of ANBU ninjas from other village got into Sara's house and kidnap her for her ability that is very unique. Sara had try to fight and even run away from them but it has been proven one level of genin could never face off against someone of an ANBU level. Sara is kidnap and brought through forest heading for Suna. Kain who at that time heading for Sara's house discover her house to be detroyed. Panicked on what had happened, Kain goes out to search for Sara and smell the very scent of Sara in the air. " Sara's smell. The wind current." thought Kain as he follows the smell. Kain and Sara had been close enough together that Kain has recognized Sara's smell perfectly and by controlling the wind current, Sara has managed to spread her scent to the village in hoping one would save her. Hope seems to be lost for Sara when he comes. Kain comes to save Sara.

In the dark by using the shadow to sneak around, Kain has managed to move silently and kill the kidnappers one by one using his Scapel Hand technique. He then promptly releases Sara from the rope that tied her. Sara is very weak at that time that she starts to collapses at that time in Kain's arms but still trying to stand up making Kain to let out a small laugh." You are weak, hehehe. You should just relax and let me carry you." said Kain as Kain forcefully carry Sara on their way back home leaping from one tree to another tree. Shine by the moonlight, Sara starts to develop a feeling for Kain as he does not knows this. Just a few miles from their village's entrance and finally nearing their home suddenly shurikens from behind Kain is thrown and Kain is hit at his back only managed to avoid a few of them.

Kain rests on the tree with Sara in his arms and starts to take off the shuriken that stuck on his back of the body." Someone behind us?" thought Kain as he quickly evaded that attack jumping from the tree's branch onto the ground. The enemy is probably the leader of the groups of ANBU that he killed earlier having use his bare hand to destroyed the tree in an instant. " How dare you disturb our mission." said the man as he is a bit bulky and muscular. Kain puts Sara on the ground leaning against the tree and is ready to fight off the guy although Sara order him to let him take her to avoid Kain sacrificing himself as she knows that he could not defeat him. Kain begins by casting jutsu that creates mist into the battlefield obscuring the man's sight as Kain try for a direct attack from his back using his Scapel Hand technique but as the attack coming nearer suddenly the man grins before disappearing in an instant and appear behind Kain and give Kain a chop across his spine.

Kain receive the damage directly which then broken parts of his body. Kain collapsed on the ground as he receive damage that quite fatal to others but probably because of his will to protect Sara he just cannot die yet. Sara who watched in horror over Kain's demise just cry begging Kain to stop doing this. " No, I cannot." said Kain as he is determined to protect her. Kain then use his Water Slice attack which then using the water to slice off the enemy but by using his chakra to coat his body acting as armor, the man has managed to reduced damage as he laughs that he only receive minor cut on his body but Kain has not finished yet as he use that water to cover the enemy sight when really he just cast a jutsu that will render the enemy movement using Sticky Syrup jutsu. " Damn you kids..." scream the man as he realizes the plan. " You will die now." said Kain as he shot out a blast of chakra through his index finger of both hands.

The blast hit the man resulting in a small explosion as Kain thought he had won this looking at Sara as they both smile at each other. In that site where the man was, suddenly the man is still alive using his Electric type chakra to coat his entire body to deflect and protect him from as much explosion as possible. The syrup earlier also wear off die to the explosion leaving him be able to move again. Anger is reflected din that man's face and in a split second he has appeared at Kain's back delivering a ouch towards Kain in his gut making Kain to vomit out blood out of his mouth. The punch also throw Kain a few feets away from him. The man tries to take Sara with him, when Kain using the technique and knowledge that Sara had taught him throw shuriken and kunai on the ground at the man hoping for it to hit. They kunais and shurikens were all hit when suddenly by using the electrostatic force of his hands, the man was able to deflect the kunais and shurikens back towards Kain. Kain having feel tired from the fight cannot move to evade to attack as them came closer to hit him. Blood is splashed out form the body but it was not Kain who was taking the hit but rather Sara.

In that last minutes, knowing that Kain would die and he could not evade the attack, Sara using the last of her energy steps in and block the attack from Kain with her own body. Blood is soaking up the ground as Kain is shocked on what happening in front of him. The enemy also froze by the turn of event just fled the scene after realizing that the girl, Sara is not save able and his mission to retrieve her alive had already failed. Sara collapsed on Kain's arm as they both confess their feeling and hug each other in Sara's last minutes of her life. " I want you to become stronger. Become stronger for both of us and carry my will of fire." said Sara as he also cough out blood. " Yes I will. I will but please survive this." said Kain." No I will die, there is nothing you can do." said Sara when suddenly she fall dead in Kain's arms as Kain scream over her name as he regrets that he could not save her. The day just turn just like how it used to be before Kain met Sara after her death and he enemies ninja could never be identified as they wore mask that day. Kain has lost his will after losing Sara until he remember the promise he made to her prompting him to train even more.

The day back to the present where it has been 2 years since Sara's death and Kain still can remember her in his mind. The shurikens and kunais that Kain thrown all hit its targets much to the bot being shock by the result. The boy then continue on his turn next, as he throw the kunais and shuriken hitting all much like Kain except one. The boy having lost the challenge cry and run off to somewhere else only to be pursue by Kain. The very reason why Kain agree to take this mission is that the boy reminds him as much on how he used to be like that boy having no friends and all until Sara came into his life. " No you are doing great. But will be become much stronger if you could learn to accept someone int your life." advise Kain as the boy nods down having learn his lesson. Kain tells the boy all his past stories and how he used to be like him making him. After finish teaching the boy, Kain is ready to say goodbye as he returns to the office to collect his reward and occasionally he would come by the academy to check on the boy who had grown up to be better and accepting people in his life as he grown up to be a really great ninja.
