Syndra

~Project Hydra Research~

Syndra arrived at the hospital dressed in her normal attire. This consisted of an black long sleeve turtle neck with the neck rolled down some so her neck was still visible, a grey jounin flak jacket with pointed shoulder guards, black shinobi styled pants that stopped at her shins but her shins were not visible due to the bandages she wore from her ankles to her pants line, and black standard shinobi sandals. She was pale skinned, light blue eyes, and long snow white hair that was held back in a long ponytail that was held together by three black hair rings. The moon marking on her forehead was covered by forehead protector that bore Konoha's village symbol. Strapped to her right thigh was shuriken holster and strapped to her right back hip was a tool carrying pouch.

She was quite excited to get the day started, since today she would be putting her time into a new project that she labeled as 'Project Hydra'. Project Hydra was meant to create a being from the dead flesh of another being. Syndra approved this research due to the idea that four new soldiers could be born with every one dead one. Because of this, the elders approved the research.
For this, Syndra began by studying the decomposing flesh of a newly deceased shinobi that was gathered by the village. Hid body being donated to the hospital after his death in combat.
While studying the cell, Syndra learned that the cell could be repaired and duplicated if using Syndra's chakra as an enzyme of sorts.

Syndra first studied this on simply one cell. She would begin to pour her chakra into the cell, this caused it to repair and duplicate in numbers. She then began to wonder if this could be done a much larger number. Or if she could even cause the cells to evolve and become even more lethal or create a new being out of the limb. But, first thing was first. Seeing if she could cause the cells in the deceased flesh to evolve, to adapt.

Syndra would start with just a finger taken from a donated body. The finger was recorded to be dead for quite a bit of time and preserved. The cells in it were long gone though from life, although Syndra believed she could revive the cells.
She first started by pouring medical chakra into the cells, activating them for a moment, after doing so the cells of the flesh began to repair their selves and the hand's color began to come back and the stiffness of it faded. It was quite a feat. Syndra would let the cells adjust for a moment before attempting to evolve the cells. By using her chakra as a growth serum for the cells, she poured her chakra into the cells once again in a manner that she hoped would caused them to evolve. At first, the finger began to twitch and grow in size slightly. The rate at which it was evolving what phenomenal. But, as the finger began to grow new limbs that were small it began to act up and eventually shut down and die off before even reaching a couple inches bigger in size. Syndra would repeat this a few times, thinking maybe it was the method of which she was doing it. She tried different approaches to it, but none seemed to work. The finger just repeated the same thing over and over. Life, growth, attempted evolution, failure, death. That being the pattern it seemed to be on.

Syndra would record her already found information and begin to study once more. Studying flesh, cells, chakra, and evolution. She was curious to what she was missing. While sitting at a desk in the hospital's research lab for multiple hours she decided just maybe it wasn't her method that was the problem. Maybe the limb that she was attempting to grow was too small to endure such a cellular change. Since the size of it was small, it would happen much faster and vigorously than it would on bigger hunk of flesh. Perhaps a bigger portion of cells was needed. Syndra decided to go home for the night and figure it out at home. She would return another day with higher hopes for the experiment, although she did accomplish quite a bit today.
