Mission Briefing

Spoiler:

Akio had woke up rather early today. Taking a quick shower before throwing on his close and rushing out the door. Today he was going to be heading back to the mission board for another mission. This would be his second C-Rank mission and perhaps it would be a bit better then his first C-Rank mission. After all his last mission was just clean up duty around the village. Even his last D-Rank mission was more exciting then that. Then again he did almost drowned in his last D-Rank mission. Oh well all he could do right now his hope and see. Rushing into town the boy had a bit of walking to do since his house was located rather far from the mission board. Actually his house was on the outskirts of Kirigakure.

Sprinting into the village the genin was a flash of blue to anyone that were to see him rushing past them. He left a gale wind in his wake as he weaved his way in between the buildings and pedestrians that lines the streets. Finally reaching his destination the boy skidded to an abrupt stop. When he was at a complete stop he walked up and accepted his mission. Unfolding the orders right away as he headed back through town. Obviously he didn't have a destination, but it was more comfortable to walk around then just stay still.

Reading the orders that were etched into the parchment the blue haired boy sighed in disappointment. Not only was he assigned with a boring mission he had to deal with kids. While most wouldn't mind children were a raw nerve for Akio. He hatted everything about most of them everything to the way they talked down to the way they carried themselves. Although there are a few exceptions with fast maturing kids that he meant. If they weren't rude or cocky as normal Akio would be able to handle them. However he doubted that would be the case since he was going to be working at the academy.

Giving one more sigh the genin stuffed the orders into his pocket and slowly made hiw way to the academy. When he arrived the professor was quick to tell Akio a few details about certain students and thanking him for watching the students. Pushing Akio into the classroom he quickly introduced the boy to the students. "Well as you might know I will be dealing with some personal details. So today one of our proud village's genin has agreed to fill in for me. Since he is so kind I expect all of you to be on your best behavior and since this is a special occasion you have no homework for tonight and you won't even have classwork." The kids yelled out in surprise and excitement at this news before the professor finished. "Now I must be going now and again thank you for your help genin." The man didn't even care to catch the Akio's name before speeding out of the door.

Akio sighed softly before heading over to the desk that was in the front of the room. Sitting in the chair he kicked his feet up on the desk and relaxed. Perhaps this wouldn't be such a chore after all. Then just as the boy thought this he noticed a paper plane drift past the desk and rest on the ground. Two more did the same before the genin snapped and slammed his feet down on the floor. "Now you little brats listen up! These are unacceptable!" He said as he picked the pieces of paper up and threw them away. "Today is a day off for you and you don't have to do any work! Now just sit back and don't piss me off!" As he yelled the room grew quiet. The awkward silence continued as Akio slowly leaned back in the chair.

Several more minutes went by before Akio caught the movement of a student out of the corner of his eye. Picking up a pencil the genin threw it and it zipped right past the student before sticking in the wall. "Where do you think you're going? Sit back down before..." The genin was cut off as the bell rang and the children fled from the room in a hurry. "Lucky brat..." Akio hissed under his breath before retrieving the pencil and placing it back on the desk. Slowly walking out of the classroom he took a deep breath glad to have finished yet another mind numbing mission.

Mission Briefing

Spoiler:

Today Akio was out to do another mission and was getting down to business. He had woken up early today and had a short breakfast with a glass of water. Before leaving the house he took a long shower seeing as he had a few extra minutes. Hoping out the boy dried himself off and threw his uniform on and rushed out the door. Starting from his house on the outskirts of the village Akio was heading to pick up his third C-Rank mission and he was hoping to get something better then yesterday.

Retrieving the orders the genin quickly read them before giving a loud sigh, disagreeing with the words that were in front of him. While he thought yesterday was bad today was going to be ten times worse. While he had to work in a classroom with students yesterday he had to do even more with the little brats today. He was assigned with going to a class and bettering one of the students. Even thought he wanted the kids to change he didn't want to be the one to do so. His orders told him to head down to the academy and observe the student. After which he had to best said student in a shuriken throwing test. While the orders were easy so far the next part was the catch. When Akio bests the student he is to then lecture the student and try to change his attitude. Not only did Akio hate working with most kids he was not one for words in the least.

However the genin had no choice in the matter since he had already taken the mission. Rolling his eyes the genin balled up the orders and shoved them in his pocket. Taking a deep breath the boy slowly exhaled as he began to slowly make his way down to the academy. While he was a bit late it didn't matter since class was still in session. Targeting the boy Akio listen and watched him a bit before deciding to engage. Watching how cocky the student was acting. These were the kind of children that Akio hated the most. Just the way every way they acted made the genin sick. While he didn't mind someone being a bit cocky it was only when they deserved it that he didn't care. However that wasn't the situation with the boy. While he was better then an average student in terms of skills it didn't matter since he was still not a strong shinobi.

Finishing his observation Akio walked up as the sensei mentioned the shuriken test. Smirking widely both Akio and the boy eyed each other as they grabbed the shurikens and locked on the target. While the two were tied up for the first three test. The three other ones Akio took the lead on. Throwing his shuriken the first five of the six hit the target exactly. However his last one was a bit off. The boy having been defeated growled and threw a shuriken at the blue haired boy. Catching the weapon between his fingers Akio threw it at the targets. Getting ready for the lecture he bent down to meet the boys line of sight. "I have seen the way you have been acting. Little boy you are not a true shinobi. True shinobi don't brag about their skills. They show their power with actions not words. When you show real skills you will have earned the right to brag. Until then I would hold your tongue young one."

Still angry that he lost to Akio the boy grunted and ignored him. While he acted like he wasn't listening he slowly focused back on the blue haired boy, nodding a few times before walking back to his desk and sitting down. The student seemed to be acting a bit nicer then before since Akio had talked to him. Smiling as he headed out the door the sensei stopped Akio. "Thank you for your help genin." He told the boy with a smile. Nodding Akio's smile widened as he felt a accomplished. "You're welcome sensei." Easing out the door the genin was a bit surprised how entertaining the mission had been. Heading back to retrieve his reward Akio held the smile on his face the whole time.

Mission Briefing

Spoiler:

Yet again Akio found himself waking up at the crack of dawn. Taking a quick shower the genin hoped out and dried himself off. Grabbing his clothes out of his wardrobe Akio headed into his kitchen and cooked up a few eggs. Finishing his breakfast the genin rushed out of the door and headed to the village. The sky was a dark blue since the sun was just beginning to rise. The air was nippy and as thin as paper as it drifted by in a slow breeze. Arriving in the relative center of Kirigakure Akio didn't hesitate as he went to receive his daily mission. Today he just hoped with every fiber of his being it didn't have to deal with students. Since the last two mission was all about the academy he had gotten fed up with them. In all honesty the missions weren't that bad, but it didn;t change the fact that Akio didn't enjoy children.

Unfolding the piece of paper that he has given Akio scanned over the words that were down on the paper. To the male's surprise they were actually pertaining to a dangerous mission. If he wasn't so sure it was C-Rank he would have thought there was a mix up. However after reading over the orders several times the genin smiled and folded them back up. Slipping them into his pant pocket he rushed into town. His mission for today pertained to a member of his own clan. Akio was assigned with confronting a Kaguya that had a tendency to break out in a rage. Making his way to the boy's house the genin stood in front of the door. Walking up to the door he was about to knock when he heard shouting.

"ARRGH!" The grunt was heard ringing off the walls of the building as Akio rushed to where it came from. "YOU WANT TO SEE REAL POWER!?" The Kaguya yelled as he pointed at another genin. The moment Akio turned the corner a bullet made our of pure bullet shot out of the boys finger and grazed the other boys arm. As the second genin crashed to the floor in pain Akio shot off and tackled the Kaguya. "GET OFF OF ME!" The Kaguya yelled as the blue haired boy was pinning him to the ground. Bone spikes sprouted from him as Akio jumped of and winced in pain. "You call yourself a Kaguya?! A true Kaguya doesn't lower himself to the status of assaulting others for no reason. You bring our clan shame." Akio threw a shuriken at the Kaguya before rushing at him and punching him square in the nose.

As the boy was knocked to the ground Akio pounced on him and pushed a kunai into his neck. "Stand down!" He shouted at the fellow clan member as he held the cold steel to his throat. Without the other knowing Akio was pointing his finger at the boys stomach, ready to attack if he had to do so. Growling the Kaguya formed a bone spike from his palm and cocked his arm back to ready himself to strike Akio. However as the boy swung his arm toward the blue haired boys face in a split second Akio launched a bone bullet into the boys stomach. Immediately the other genin's rage subsided and he started to black out.

Sighing Akio stood up off of the Kaguya and sheathed his kunai. Picking the genin up Akio hurried off down the streets. Zipping past several Kirigakure citizens as the other Kaguya's blood streamed down Akio's shoulder. Arriving at the hospital the genin threw the Kaguya into a doctors arm. After several minutes of waiting at the others bedside Akio noticed him waking up. "Oh you're up..." The Kaguya nodded as he remembered Akio. "I'm sorry..." He whispered to Akio as the sounds of the medical staff and equipment echoed through the buildings. "It's okay...you just need to learn to control yourself. You are a Kaguya and should act like one. Be a fierce shinobi, not a pouting little brat." Nodding the boy agreed as he couched a bit. Tipping his head he gave the boy a pat on the shoulder. "Take care..." Akio told the boy with a smile on his face as he headed off to go recover his reward for the mission.

Mission Briefing

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Finding himself in town to pick up yet another mission Akio decided to treat himself for all the work he had gotten done. Heading off to the ramen shop the genin ordered a large bowl of the noodles. Getting the hot serving the boy's eyes lit up as he grabbed a few of the noodles and slowly nibble dthem away seeing as they were hot. After a few minutes the blue haired boy was shoveling the delicious food into his mouth. After finishing up his food he paid for it and headed off to start his mission.

Receiving his orders Akio smiled and slowly unfolded the piece of paper that he was handed. Skimming over the piece of paper the boy hummed softly. The mission he had received was a bit more entertaining then usual. Although it wasn't as interesting as the one he had down the other day he was a bit surprised to see this one. While he read it all he could think of was the Kaguya that the boy had put in the hospital during his last mission. Getting side tracked the genin shook his head and focused back on the words that were engraved on the parchment.

The orders that were listed read as such:

Dear Kirigakure Shinobi,

You have been chosen from all of our proud, honorable and capable shinobi that reside inside our wonderful village. While we had a hard time picking which of all of our shinobi should have taken this mission we decided that you were the best choice. Today you will be assigned with the task of cleaning up a recent battlefield near our lovely village. While we would usually would assign this mission to a higher ranked shinobi or a whole squad we have decided against such things. Since you are a strong and capable shinobi you are to not only clean up the battle field, but also deliver our fallen to the morgue. When you are finished with this task you are to report to the given list of Kirigakure families and tell them about the grave news. However we would appreciate if you were to break the news lightly and try to help them out with small problems around their house. Thank you for your cooperation and good luck to you on your assignment. Also please handle our honorable fallen shinobi with care and respect.

Folding up the paper the boy sighed and slipped it into his pocket. While he didn't care he had to do the mission the genin hated how the village wrote these orders down. They always acted ike they were so classy in any situation and that they were so glad that this mission gets finished. While it wasn't such a big deal it just always seemed to get on the genin's nerves when he read the words that were dotted down on the parchment.

Heading down to the location of the before mentioned battlefield Akio noticed the smell of death wafting through the now stale and cold air. Reaching the location the boy shuttered at the gruesome sight. Their were bodies flung all about the area. A few of them even had dismembered limbs, not to mention the splattered blood that was painted all over the grass and dirt of the area. Swallowing hard the genin began to clean up the whole area. Beginning with the most simplest part of the whole mission, picking up the spare weapons that were strewn about the ground. Locating them by the shimmer that was cast off of them by the reflected sun beams that was striking them. The steel that they were forged from was rather hot being heated by the hot rays of the sun that hung directly above the battlefield.

Not caring about the blood that was already dried on the ground Akio moved on to hauling the bodies off. Sorting them by the village that they were from. Placing the Kirigakure shinobi in one pile and any other shinobi in the second pile. The blue haired genin loaded up the wooden hand crafted wheelbarrow up with two bodies at a time before heading off to the morgue. Akio did this several more times before he had gotten all of the Kirigakure shinobi safely to the morgue. After which the male began to move the other bodies using the same wheelbarrow. While he didn't remember what the orders had said about handling the Kirigakure bodies with care he was a bit less gentle with the other ones. Throwing them into the wheelbarrow instead of placing them nicely. Rushing to the morgue instead of moving slowly and carefully. Some of the bodies even slid off of the wheel barrow and fell as he carted them off. When such a thing happened the genin just left them. Picking them up when he came back instead of quickly placing them back on the cart.

The boy made several trips back and forth as he load and unloaded the cart. As he dropped of the last load of bodies the genin was panting heavily and had exhausted himself. Slumping down on a nearby wall the boy took a few deep breaths to relax himself before forcing himself back to his feet. While he was extremely tired he knew that he had to get back to the task at hand and finish the mission he was assigned to do. Taking the list of names from his pocket the boy began to read over it noating a few names as he began to walk down the street. Using his memory to find his way through the village Akio continued to read the list. As he read the last name he folded up the list and stuffed it in his pocket. Arriving at the armory he turned in the recovered weapons, everything from kunai to shuriken to even a few swords. The man guarding the armory thanked Akio before sending him on his way.

Making his way through the village Akio thought about the bodies he had hauled off and the names he had read on the paper. Obviously this was a grim day for the village. Everyone had lost a great deal to the attackers and many families would be sad to hear the news that the genin had to deliver. However most of them wouldn't be to shaken up by the news that he had to give them. After all the Bloody Mist had gotten it's name for a good reason and death was seen on a daily rate. Although no one truly has a heart of stone, meaning most would still take the news pretty hard once they hear it.

Walking up to the first house the genin lightly knocked on the door. It only took about five seconds for the owner to open the door. She was a rather old woman that had a bright smile crossing her face as she looked at the boy. "Oh hello dear." She greeted him with as she looked to be a bit confused by his arrival. "How may I help you?" She asked. Akio sighed as he looked up to her. "Well I'm sorry to inform you that of your lose, but your son has fallen in combat." Akio put it bluntly, only knowing it was her sun from the list that mentioned the relation. "Oh I see..." She said as a moment of silence fell over the conversation. "Thank you for the news." While she didn't react as expected she had good reason to not be phased by such news. After allt he older civilians always seemed to know the most since they had seen so much death in their lives. "I am to help you with anything around the house if you need anything." The genin told here with a soft smile. "No I'm just fine dear, but thank you." She said before walking back in the house and shutting the door.

Akio went to tell the rest of the list, offering them help around the house. However most didn't seemed to want to be bothered, as expected. While a few had him do some small chores the rest just thanked him. After finishing the list the genin yawned loudly and returned to go pick up his reward for the hard days work he had just finished. Although he did seem to be a bit down about all the death he had saw in such a short period of time.

Mission Briefing

Spoiler:

While Akio never saw himself saying or even think this he had decided to go back to D-Rank missions. Having done so many C-Rank missions he thought that he would do a lower rank mission so he could have a little break from the hard work. Today he found himself doing a mission that he hadn't done in some time now. He was assigned to help a familiar elderly woman that he had meant before. Her name was Mai Kurosaki and the genin had meant her a while ago when he was assigned his first mission that was to help her around the house.

This time he was assigned to do that exact thing again. The boy was to head over to the woman's house and help her aroudn the house with chores that she wold need done. Taking his time the blue haired boy headed back to her house, not needing to read the paper he was given to remember her address. Arriving at the woman's house the genin knocked softly and gave a smile as the elderly woman open the door and greeted him. "Hello genin thanks for coming to help...wait have I seen you before?" She asked him as she noticed his familiar blue hair. "Oh yes you have ma'am. I was the genin that helped you awhile back." He told her with a smile. "Oh yes you. It's nice to see you again boy." As he was motioned into the house Akio nodded and agreed with Mai Kurosaki. "And the same to you Mai." He told her as she offered him a drink and a seat at the table.

Taking a seat at the table Akio drank the tea Mai poured him before she sat down and began to talk to him. After catching up more or less the two began to talk about Akio's mission for the day. "Well all I need you to do is clean the house and then go and weed the garden." She told the genin before going to read one of her books. "Okay I'll get to that right now Miss Kurosaki." He told her before jumping right on the chores. He started with the house, sweeping the floor and cleaning the dishes. As he finished the house he headed out of the door and to the back yard to start with the weeds. Luckily the garden was rather neatly kept and the weeding didn't take to long.

Heading back into the house Akio searched around for Mai Kurosaki. "I'm done with the chores Mai. Just let me wash my hands and we will be on our way." Washing his hands the two headed out the door and into the village. The last thing Akio had to do was take her around town to gather the supplies she would need for the day. After spending a few hours out with the woman he ended up carrying a large stack of supplies back to the house. Dumping them in the house before putting them all away for the elderly woman. After finishing up he said his goodbyes and headed off to collect his reward.

Mission Briefing

Spoiler:

Waking up the genin rolled out of bed with a loud moan. Clearly all of the hard work was getting to him lately. Even with the break he took with his last mission he couldn't get enough sleep. Taking a long shower the boy actually almost passed out in the bath as he sat down. Being so tired Akio quickly finished up and jumped out to dry himself off. Quickly grabbing a glass of water the boy sighed and hurried out of the door. Grumpily walking from his house at the outskirts of Kirigakure to the inner city. Fetching another mission the genin decided he would take another low ranking D-Rank one seeing as he wanted to have an easy day.

Grabbing the orders he yawned once more as he read over them. They mentioned something about retrieving glasses and the boy sighed knowing who it was by the last name on the piece of paper. Well at least it wouldn't be such a hard job to do since he was only looking for some glasses that went mission. They probably were even still in the woman's house and would only take a few minutes to find. Then he could head back home and get some beauty sleep. Which was something that he really needed seeing as he was to tired and had forgotten to comb his hair.

Quickly fixing his hair as best as he could with his fingers the boy rushed over to Arisu Kurosaki's house. Arriving at the elderly woman's house he knocked on the door a few times. Arisu was Mai Kurosaki's sister and Akio had found her glasses the last time that they had gone missing. When Arisu open the door he smiled and greeted Akio. "Oh hello again. I didn't expect you to come and find my glasses again." She said in surprise as she was happy to see him once again. Smiling the boy stepped into the house and started to look right away. "Well here I am..." He told here as he looked around. Checking under and behind furniture making sure to move the bigger stuff to get a better view.

After spending a few minutes searching high and low, even checking the shelves the boy turned to as Arisu where she could have possibly lost them. Then as he opened his mouth he noticed the chain that held the glass hanging around her neck. While she might have taken the advice Akio gave her last time she had forgotten about the chain that rested around her neck. "Um Arisu..." He said in a soft voice as he stared at the eye wear that was attached to the chain. "Your glasses are around your neck." He told her as he gave a soft chuckle. Grabbing the glasses Arisu put them on and laughed. "Oh dear...I'm sorry for the inconvenience I must be growing a bit too old." Laughing along with her the genin shook his head. "It's no problem. Now have a nice day." As he said his goodbyes the blue haired boy hurried off to get his reward.

Mission Briefing

Spoiler:

Akio yawned as he rose out of bed jumping right out of bed and into the bath. Taking a rather hot and long bath in hopes to wake himself up. However there was no hope seeing as he nodded off a few times in the bath. Finally hopping out of the bath room the blue haired male wrapped himself in a towel and headed to the kitchen, cooking himself up some breakfast before heading out of his house. Eating the breakfast slowly the genin hung his towel up to dry and threw on some clothes.

As he rushed out of the door he slammed the door shut behind him and hurried into the village. Walking the outskirt paths back toward the Kirigakure the genin took a deep inhale. The cold air soothing his still slightly damp and warm body. Fixing his still wet hair with his fingers the boy grabbed his orders and unfolding them to read the words that were etched on them. As his golden eye skimmed the words on in front of him he smiled seeing his orders. To his surprise he was assigned to help a familiar elderly woman once again.

Slipping the piece of paper into his pocket the genin yawned and headed to the address that he had memorized already. Seeing as he had already helped Mai Kurosaki twice he knocked on the woman's door and walked in as soon as she answered it. "Hello once again Miss Kurosaki." He said with a smile. The woman gave the boy a hug as she remembered him. "And hello again to you young boy. It's nice to see a familiar face coming to help me once more."

As usual to two sat down at the table and talked for awhile over tea. After they talked for awhile Miss Kurosaki began to tell Akio what he had to do today. "Well all you have to do today is clean the house up. Also I would like if you organized my book collection alphabetically." Nodding the genin didn't waist any time as he cleaned the house up. There wasn't much to clean seeing as it hadn't been long since he had done it last time. Finishing cleaning up the genin headed over to the bookshelves. seeing the large collect of books the genin piled them all on the floor. He quickly sorted them in piles according to the letter they started with. After finishing the sorted he would sort each letter separate before placing them on the shelves. After putting all of the books on the shelf he headed around the house to find Miss Kurosaki.

"Well I'm done with all the chores. Now let's go get your supplies for the day." As Miss Kurosaki headed down the stairs he gave the boy a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you...well let us be on our way." Heading out of the house the two began to run Miss Kurosaki's daily route. Picking up everything she usually got along with the few impulse buys that she just had to have. After which Akio carried the supplies back to Miss Kurosaki's house and put everything away. Then when he was done he said his goodbyes to her and went to gather his reward for the mission.
