The air was thick with mist, hanging low over the training grounds as the sun hung low in the air. Melee logs littered the area, and pools of piranha hid in the poor vision distance. Zevas had walked into the training grounds, knowing the area quite well, having trained there on varying days. Days that were clear, days where you couldnt see at all. He knew the hidden traps, ones from long ago and ones quite recent. He even had a favorite spot, where some got wounded majorly. The blood splatter looked like some animal out of myths, but Zevas still loved it. The stench of dried blood moistened by the mist hung in the air. Zevas smiled as he inhaled deeply, the scent exciting him.

Zevas ran forward, jumping forward over a pool filled with the carnivorous fish, doing a front handspring after the land, flipping into the air. He reached out and grabbed a metal pole sticking out of the ground, the pole having an upside down L shape. He spun once, letting go and somersaulting into the air. tucking into a ball. As he came down he extended his body out, landing on top of a tree stump. Zevas crouched on the wooden tool and smiled.

"It feels so good to get out and stretch...its...lovely."

The winds kicked at his nose as the mist began to stir. The amount of moisture in the air let his lungs become a bit thick in breath. He grew irritated due to the thickness of the moisture. He was born and raised in Kiri but the thing he hated was the mist due to how thick it got. This caused the boy to clap his hands as winds began to kick up due to a sudden surge of chakra in an area. The boy smiled as he looked into the training area, a smirk of a good worth too.

He saw a boy flying around the area, landing upon a log of sorts. He chuckled as he walked towards the boy, the air getting dense due to the boy getting heated up. His blood becoming hot he was ready to fight because he wanted to get better. He looked at the boy and smirked, crossing his arms as he spoke with a cheerful tone. He talked in an intelligent tone of voice.

"Hm... You seem to be a shinobi of the mist.... We must battle kid. It will make us better right?"

The boy chuckled as he stared a sly glare towards the boy. His face is of deception and should not be taken seriously. This was his way to make friends in this way due to the fact he was in a fighting mood. He is normally warm and genuine but right now, he needs to let out some tension as he hasn't gotten a good fight in a while. He spoke again as he tried to warm up.

"I won't kill nor scar you. I will fight you at full power though... so I expect the same from you."

He chuckled as he stood in the shorter grass near the training logs. He got into a stance that was unique to him as if he was dancing. He chuckled as he looked again with his fake yet calm sly smile upon his face. He looked like he was going to enjoy this match though he was never going to hold back on this man since he was around his age. His hair blowing slightly in the winds, the eyes of his...mysterious.

Zevas noticed the boy enter the area, slowly walking into the training field. Zevas watched as the boy stopped and proceeded to speak to him. He talked and mentioned a battle, and then continuing on about how he wouldnt hold back but he wouldnt be maimed. Zevas pondered on the thought, rubbing his chin in a thinker like position. He looked at the boy his age, and thought to himself that it had been awhile since he had a sparring partner. Zevas stood up and made a small waving motion.

"Shall we then?"

Zevas back flipped off the stump, the clear water glistening in front of him. Zevas assumed the boy could keep up with him, now that the mist had thinned a bit, and Zevas also observed the structure of the boy, which seemed well trained. A bird chirped in the air as it flew over head, but it wouldnt distract him. Zevas had learned never to under estimate an opponent. Zevas pulled out a kunai from one of his pouches, and held it downward. Zevas watched the boy through his sunglasses, waiting for his first move.

Flipping, Dorima saw the boy flip into the air with some grace. He chuckled  as the boy pulled out a dinky kunai. From laughing the genin known as Dorima launched towards the boy reaching him in a near second. He smirked as he stood right in front of him as he said in a dark tone.

"Only if you were fast....You are still in slow motion for me.... It is a shame too that you aren't at this level yet...."

After he spoke that snip-it, he moved at a slight blur. A flicker almost. He came from the left next with a swift running right cross. From here he came with a swifter Leaf Gale-like trip up on the boy aimed at his ankles. The boy would then swiftly come from behind with a hard knee towards the kid's back. Possible bone damage can happen from this. From the knee the boy comes down with a downwards bicycle kick towards the kid's stomach, possibly drilling him to the ground. A light chuckle came as he flipped up and away from the possible combo. He landed 5 meters away and spoke.

"Listen...Kiri shinobi need to be strong. As such I expect you to get as strong as me...."

He chuckled as he got back into his stance as he stared into the soul of the man on the ground. He stomped his foot upon the ground as if to signal the kid to get up. He laughed hard as he only thought of how far the kid could go.

Zevas watched the boy as he stopped laughing and his muscles tightened, judging the boy's movements Zevas assumed he was going for movement, as his legs seemed to be the only thing that stretched. Zevas tossed the kunai up lightly, catching it his his teeth. He could taste the wrappings around the handle. They tasted salty from the sweat drenched hands of his that gripped the kunai before for training. Zevas watched the boy appear before him, mocking him at his lack of speed. Zevas had assumed right, and the boy was well physically trained, and aimed just for a close up, but before the boy could react, it was Zevas' turn to start his thought out plan.

Zevas had been in motion the entire time the boy spoke, his hands moving together to form a single seal with the same speed as the boy moved. Zevas spoke before the boy moved a second time, mumbling words around the kunai in his mouth.

"I may not be as fast as you..."

The boy would move next to Zevas, aiming for a closed fisted PUNCH at his jaw. This is when Zevas' jutsu would come into play. Instead of a cloud of smoke, a bright blinding light shone from where Zevas used to be, blinding anyone or anything looking in the direction of where he was standing. Zevas would appear ten meters behind the boy, throwing two shuriken at the boy. The shuriken were aimed at non vital spots, aiming to deal minimal damage. The shuriken were set apart, one on either side of the boy, so he couldnt dodge left or right.

"...but i didnt get this far on lucks and good looks alone."

Zevas readied himself again, keeping an eye on the boy. He would analyze him, watch him. Zevas knew he was at a physical disadvantage, so he was going to have to use his mind in order to keep the boy on his toes. Hopefully Zevas had caught him off guard, making his job a little easier. A blind runner would definitely run into one of the traps set in the training area. Maybe makishibi spikes, or a piranha pool. Something that would slow down his opponent.
