Spoiler:

Patiently waiting at Kumogakure gates in a minor fritz, Sachio looked up to the sky anxiously. Today would be a corner stone in Meech's shinobi career and he was just as excited as he was dreading it. It was a headhunter styled task, meaning today he would more than likely be popping his killing cherry. He didn't want to give off a nervous aura or come of as nervous seeing as he would be accompanying a few superiors on this mission. To ease his nerves he found himself mentally uttering his clansmen words to himself. These were words that were used to justify the act of killing, things like "It's sure to come one day." "It's your duty as a ninja." "Your only speeding up what they have coming to them." Some a bit less directed at the situation, but the virgin to killing. "Stop being a weakling/coward/spineless/etc". These of course did little to reinforce Sachio's will as this was something that the ninja just had to overcome or prepare themselves for. Taking in a breath, he knew it wasn't something he should let sit on his mind, especially when he'd be in the midst of combat, so he set it aside until the time came as he exhaled. A brand new Kusarigama at his side since his last one was dramatically destroyed, his fingers grazed against the chain length and made it jingle ever so slightly.

He had so much more training to do, but found so little time with all the recent missions popping up. He wondered if after this he'd be able to get a bit more time to focus on himself and his training especially as a Kazan clan member. He wanted to be able to utilize his Kekkei Genkai to his full potential and didn't want to disappoint his clansmen or tarnish their name by performing poorly in the fields with other Kumogakure ninja.

He was running late, which was pretty unusual for him, as he was usually on time. This would be his first mission with a genin and his new friend Izo, and he was excited to say the least. By taking on this mission, he would be able to help mold the shinobi of the future. He was pretty young himself, only 5 years older than the aforementioned genin. Sachio Kazan was his name and from what Hayato had read on him, he was a capable shinobi, whom, like Hayato, loved dango. Which was why he was late... he wanted to surprise the boy with a stick of the tasty treat, but there was a longer line than he expected. Hmm... he might be a little pissed, but at least I have dango. Hayato thought as he flicked away his finished stick. He was nearing in on the gate...

In correspondence with his name, the Black Wind of the Cloud, he was clad in his usual all black attire: black pants, black shoes, a fishnet undershirt, and a custom made black top. Even his color shifting eyes were black. He finally reached the gate and saw Sachio waiting for him, a small grin came across his face. "Yo!" he shouted at the blonde boy from behind. When he got his attention, he handed him the dango stick and said "I'm Hayato Shavitis, one of the appointed jounin for this mission." It was then that he noticed the kusarigama on his side. A weapon as complex as that isn't for anyone, one must have an intuitive mind and quick reflexes. The only person they were waiting on was Izo Uzumaki. The last time he had seen the red-haired shinobi was at the Thunder Grounds, which was not so long ago. Hayato looked at the mountain range of the Land of Lightning that lay in front of him, taking in the beautiful view and said "Hmm... what's taking that fool, Izo, so long?" He stroked his chin as he inquired, longing for their mission to begin.

OOC: Gone skip this nigga

The words with exclamation rang through his ears and caused him to turn around to face the source. First his head, then as he saw the man was looking at him, his whole body turned and he put on a smile. A hand raising to wave along with the smile, his eyes opened a bit wider than normal at the sight of Dango being offered to him. Dango was one of his favorite foods and it also wasn't too heavy, so it wouldn't slow him down during the mission. He wouldn't just decline free food anyhow, so happily he took the stick of dingo out of the man's grip. "Haha thank you, Hayato. Obviously you already know I'm the genin for this mission. Will Izo-San still be accompanying us?" Sachio looked around seeing if the man was in sight, but couldn't see him. Possibly due to all the people in the streets traveling, but regardless the man wasn't seen. "we should still start the mission on time though right?" He looked at Hayato, before taking a bite from the Dango stick. "Even if one of the ninjas assigned not he task isn't present. At least I think that's what they told me back in the academy . . ." He scratched his head in thought as he continued to chew his food -his eyes fixated out in space beyond the village gates-. Stretching back his shoulders a bit, he looked back at Hayato in wait for a response.

Hayato stopped rubbing his chin and listened to Sachio, who was completely correct because as a shinobi, promptness was key. It was a point they emphasized in the academy, a point that the young genin had obviously taken notice of. Just as Hayato opened his mouth to respond to Sachio, an anbu member appeared in a flash, as if he was summoned. He looked at the anbu, wondering why he would suddenly appear. From the lack of red hair, he could tell that this man wasn't Izo. "Hmm... what is your business here?" Hayato asked, though he had a feeling that it involved their untimely team member. "Uzumaki Izo will not be accompanying you on your mission, he has other duties he must tend to." said the anbu in a monotone manner. Hayato nodded, understanding the situation. Some missions were just more important than others. The man then disappeared, using a smoke bomb as cover.

As he waved the smoke away, Hayato addressed Sachio "Well, I believe you have your answer." Having a member of the anbu with them would have made the mission easier, but that was not the case. "It's only the two of us, so we need to watch each other's back. You can trust me because I trust you and have faith in your abilities. Don't look at me as your superior, but as your equal." Hayato said with a grin. "So Sachio... are you ready to kick those two brothers' asses?" his eyes flicking to grey as he asked the genin. The best way to get through tribulations such as this was through hope. Hayato started walking, knowing Sachio would follow. It was time to go.

Sachio's eyes widened at the sudden appearance of the Anbu ninja. It was amazing how untraceable the shinobi was and even more amazing how he was gone as quick as he had come. Sachio figured the ninja's arrival signaled that Izo wouldn't be joining them, but still had his doubts. Hayato of course solidified that theory however and Sachio nodded in response. It was a slow nod, disappointed of course, but he accepted it and saw it as a chance for more growth. The task would be harder now of course, but this would only be helping Meech grow and help him nuture a bond with this other Kumogakure shinobi.

As Hayato spoke his words bounced off of Sachio's brain countless amounts of times even after they were spoken and they brought a thin smile across his face. He knew it wasn't coincidental that his words sounded similar to Izo's about seeing each other as equals. Apparently these were village teachings, but Meech wondered what the fundamentals behind it were. Someone had to be above someone at some point in time right? A thoughtful expression on his face, he was had started walking through the gates of Kumogakure behind Hayato, still to have answered him. "Yeah, it'll be tough, but we can do it." The thoughts of death danced on Sachio's shoulders and occasionally whispered in his ear giving him shivers, but he tried to keep a calm mind and stay focused. Focused on Hayato's back, right in the center of it. It did well to calm him knowing he was still in someone's company and he wasn't in this alone and killing wouldn't be put on his shoulders. "Hey Hayato." His tone reflected the internal feeling of being down or maybe worried. His focus had left Hayato's back and was now resting downwards feet in front of him. "Do you remember the first time you had to kill someone?" With this he looked up with a curious and innocent look to his leader for the task.
