ANBU Training [Missions]

Sanroku as a young ANBU trainee was assigned into the ANBU sparring training program where he will fight a few already skilled and experienced ANBU shinobi in order for Sanroku to have a better feel of how to fight shinobi who are more powerful than “you” are. This sparring training program is very organized as it contains a number of ANBU shinobi that need to be fought although they each have different skills unique to themselves and unknown to Sanroku himself. But Sanroku didn’t mind the dangerous training mission, so when he got the notice that this was the assignment, the young Chunin readied himself in order to head to the ANBU hideout. Sanroku walked slowly while thinking to himself and looking at the cloudy skies, it appears like he has knowledge of hos truly difficult this combat will be, so he wants to already contemplate a strategy even though he has the unlucky trait of not knowing who he is fighting or what skills the ANBU he is fighting are truly skilled in. Sanrokus mastery is in Ninjutsu and weaponry but when speaking about something other than his basic skills, he is a master at deductive reasoning so he feels that even though he doesn’t know there skill, he will figure it out if he is left with more than 20 min on the battlefield with the opponent. Although 20 minutes is an awfully long time to be waiting for an answer in battle, so Sanroku cut his analytical time in half to 10 minutes in order to see if he can analyze this shinobi in time. Sanroku soon looked up after he reached a large building that was clearly the ANBU training facility, in this facility, Sanroku knocked and seen when they opened the door how nobody was in the entrance but Sanroku. This crept him out but seeing as Sanroku does not like to show emotions, he simply walked right into the tower with his hands beside him as he noticed a few masked ANBU shinobi standing in one side from him. They were waiting for me The young shinobi said to himself, and as he entered deeped into the building, an ANBU shinobi appeared in front of Sanroku giving him the details of the fight, he went and repeated the rules and regulation so that Sanroku may know especially that if he does die for a mistake that is not the ANBU’s fault, then they cannot tell people how you died or where, so Sanroku will be considered a missing ninja. But it is for good reason since the shinobi that Sanroku if fighting are trained to not kill their opponent, while the trainee will always have something to prove and outdo themselves to the point that they can use a kinjutsu that will kill themselves. Sanroku agreed to the terms of the battle, and soon was given permission to enter the arena. The young shinobi looked around and noticed nothing special about this ANBU arena.

When Sanroku entered the Arena, the doors behind him closed right away. Soon after something was heard from the distance and within the shadow. When Sanroku got the nerve to look up, he quickly jumped back as he noticed a fireball jutsu coming directly at him. The fireball came from the top corner directly ahead of Sanroku, and that corner is exaggeratingly dark, so dark even that Sanroku is not able to determine who or what it was that shot the fireball. Then it was observed, when another fireball came out of that corner, the light flashing from the fireball did not lighten up the dark area. Which only means one thing, which is that this shadow must be a Ninjutsu technique that is keeping that corner darkened. When Sanroku moved to dodge again he quickly noticed that these fireballs weren’t aiming to hit him like he thought, but instead they were aiming at him so he can purposely dodge. Sanroku then suspected the fact that these fireballs were shot at him for the purpose of him deciphering the darkened area. So Sanroku decided to play their game. The young shinobi stood still as he seen yet another fireball shooting toward him. Sanroku closed his eyes when the technique hit, in which it knocked him back because of the sheer force behind the attack. The fireballs that were being shot at a fixed time, now paused, which is exactly what Sanroku wanted. He knew that whoever was shooting these fireballs was going to wait for Sanroku to stand up so that he can have a chance to dodge, since that is the purpose, but in reality, while the opponent is looking at Sanroku apparently lifeless body, it will soon disperse as leave behind just a log of wood. Soon after Sanroku appeared directly below the shadow in which he had his Manipulative Blade Technique is nice preparation. The kunai shot in near blinding speeds which gave the ANBU that was hiding in the shadows nothing else to do but dodge the attack and leave his post, thus making the shadow technique disperse. The ANBU didn’t speak much as it jumped out of the way in order to quickly form a few hand seals. After the hand seals, a water dragon will appear from behind him and swallow the ANBU in order to release him on the ground, safe from the way in which he was going to land on his shoulder. This act of strategic brilliance shocked Sanroku, but at the wrong time since the dragon was still activated and charging now at Sanroku. The young shinobi knows he has nothing to defend himself against such a large and powerful attack so he just braced himself for the impact. Sanroku got hit directly and was as good as down for the count, and the ANBU training partner appeared in front of Sanroku to say something, but Sanroku cut him off to say. “I lost.” The shinobi then responded by saying, “But you passed.” And he reached out to help Sanroku up, knowing that Sanroku learned what he needed too, which is to create a technique to defend himself against such an attack now.

Sanroku is now already prepared for the next mission. It is similar from the last mission taken. Sanroku is assigned now again into an ANBU training program. The last Anbu Sanroku fought in this training program had incredible strength. So much strength even that he defeated the young Chunin in one shot. The Anbu appeared to be proficient in Ninjutsu and something that appeared like a genjutsu with the shadows, but it could also be another ninjutsu. It is not determined yet, nevertheless, these guys are not anything that Sanroku should take lightly. Sanroku didn’t leave the facility when he was done fighting the Ninjutsu proficient ANBU, when he was suddenly pulled aside by an ANBU medic that had pink long hair. She healed Sanroku and now she was the one to tell Sanroku about the rules and regulations surrounding this training program. She repeated the aspect of death, and how if Sanroku dies in this training then they can’t say he died in their facility thus thy have to report him missing. Sanroku wasn’t going to lie to himself, this scared him a bit because he wondered how serious could these people get with their training, and have they killed anybody with it? Although, Sanokru isn’t one to show emotion so he was healed without a thank you given for doing so, since it is apparent that she didn’t do this out of good will but instead out of preparation for another fight. Before she left though she gave a sign of care as she said, “Good luck.” Sanroku was surprised that she said this since the rest of the time everyone here seemed to be quite robotic, she actually showed some sort of humanity within. “Thank you.” Sanroku then responded. It didn’t take long for her to leave, and the arena did not change. It was the same one. The battlefield was just a large room that was capable of withstanding shinobi combat within. Sanroku already deducted that these walls are incredibly durable seeing as the attack that nearly knowck him out didn’t even make a scratch on the surface. Sanroku was then waiting for the next fighter and soon he seen him. A shinobi walked into the arena from the same spot that the medic left through. Sanroku prepared himself, knowing that these guys don’t talk much when fighting, so he took out a kunai and placed it in front of himself, as he got fully combat ready. When the shinobi completely walked into the battlefield, he did not waste time to begin his technique. Screaming behind his mask the ANBU began to create an aura of pure energy around him. Sanroku did not know what this was nor what to expect from this until the ANBU yelled out “THIRD GATE OF HEALING: OPEN!” This was something new to the young Chunin and not knowing what he means by opening these gates, Sanroku needed to prepare for the worst so he climbed the walls using his tree climbing technique. In case the floor was to open beneath.

Sanroku was waiting for what this shinobi had next up his sleeve. It appears like he has made a home out of just standing there with an aura of energy spurring from out of him. Before Sanroku was even able to notice the shinobis movement, he quickly appeared right in front of Sanroku with an attempt to kick him directly on the head. This was certainly a death blow and there is not a lot Sanroku can do to defend himself against this attack except for lift his kunai up next to his face in order to have the point aiming toward the foot that is targeting the head. This made the ANBU shinobi quickly stop right before he can get stabbed on the foot, but seeing as he was in mid aid, he quickly reversed and kicked Sanroku with his other foot. This acrobatic spectacle of moves was incredible to witness but Sanroku had no time to marvel at another ANBU shinobi’s tactic when Sanroku himself is in battle with the man. Right when the kick landed, a log that was left in Sanrokus place exploded because of the overwhelming strength put force in the kick. Sanroku appeared just a few meters away from the attack as he threw himself back in order to gain some distance from this fighter. The young chunin then noticed how close he was to the spot in which the shadow genjutsu type of technique was cast, thus how close he was to 10 of his kunai. Then he jumped in order to climb onto the wall once again, and get in grabbing range of his hand held weapons. Sanroku then began to analyze. It appears like this shinobi is proficient in taijutsu since he is running toward Sanroku now instead of using a long range attack like the last ANBU that Sanroku faced. So then the plan to fight this guy was clear. Because if that was true, then Sanroku just needs to stay within a safe distance from him and like that, his taijutsu wont faze the young shinobi. When the ANBU neared Sanroku, the young chunin tested his plan as he used his shurikenjutsu technique in order to throw the kunai directly in front of the ANBU, and in nearly all directions. This was so that the ANBU can stop in his tracks rather than dodge the kunai. This gave Sanroku enough time to move even further away from the Taijutsu specialist, but there was only so much distance there can be between them since they are in a closed room. So Sanroku took a kunai and attached an explosive tag to it, with this he threw it again, not aiming at the taijutsu specialist but aimed at the front of the ANBU in order to blind him with the explosion of the attack. Sanroku knows that this shinobis rank means that his taijutsu is far more superior than anybody Sanroku has faced, so Sanroku used his Ninja Hiding Technique in order to “flee” from the combat. Hiding in one of the props in the training arena, the ANBU said. “You passed!” As his Aura diminished. It appears like this match is basically a waiting game, Sanroku just had to wait until the technique was done and over with to be considered a win.
