Syndra

Syndra

Syndra would nod slightly at the child, she was impressed by how quickly he answered. He might have just had a calling when Syndra asked him to join her, perhaps he felt 'right'. Syndra knew that he would be quite handy one day.
Syndra would begin to lean off the rock and face towards Garuda. She appeared some what serious for a moment, almost intimidating. She would speak in a calm voice.
"Garuda, for now just grow strong. I will check on you every so often. You're my ally now." She paused to collect her thought for a moment and continued to talk in a sincere voice.
"Don't inform others of this alliance. When the moment is right, we will make more blunt moves. But, until then we will just grow stronger. No matter what, don't betray me. I won't betray you. We'll help each other out when we need it. You'll be more than just a tool. But, my friend." Syndra seemed very promising in the way she spoke. She seemed as if she promised a powerful team between the two. At the end of her sentence, she smiled slightly at the boy. She was quite happy with him.
She couldn't help but feel as if Garuda will grow quite strong indeed. She knew that he was a smart investment. For the moment, they really couldn't do much but grow. But, Syndra was okay with that. She imagined in due time, Garuda would become quite the strong person and Syndra would become stronger than she was at the moment.

"Okay I can do that!" Garuda would say after immediately hearing her tell him to just grow strong. He would quickly shut up though so he can hear the rest on what she had to say to him, a confused look on his face as she continued to talk. He wasn't confused on her saying he was her alley but the part about him not able to tell anyone and the part about betray. But like most things she said to him he would have to sit there a moment to process them before he would finally get what she meant. "Don't worry I will never betray an alley...Especially if that alley was you Syndra." Garuda would tell her his confused look fading away, his smile returning. He actually blushed a bit, embarrassed, when she told him that he wasn't going to be a tool but her friend. Not many called him a friend. Garuda would make up his mind as he now knew what his goal was. And that was to grow to become the strongest within this village and be able to help Syndra with whatever she needed him to do.

"Now what do we talk about." Garuda would suddenly say after a time of silence. They had talked about many deep things today and well he didn't know what else there was at the moment. Even though the two had said enough to leave on Garuda still wanted to talk, well at least a little longer. He truly had nothing better to do so talking to her would be something till he felt tired and wanted to go home. Or till she had to return to her village. In truth Iwagakure to Garuda was boring and only was as interesting as the people who made it that way, and it wasn't many who did that. But this could be said about most village if one thought about it as the people who were in a village ultimately decided what it represented. What Garuda's thoughts are ultimately coming to is that he, from what he has put together from today, will grow strong but will have to make the village follow the path he has chosen. Even if he couldn't reach the title of Kage, he felt he could still make the village follow this path by doing something. But at the moment he couldn't put his finger on what that would be.

Syndra would smile slightly when Garuda agree'd with everything Syndra had to say. She saw a great alliance between the two. An alliance between two shinobi in two different villages could lead to be quite useful between the two shinobi. These types of friendships were rare between two shinobi of two different villages and lands. But, Syndra saw something in this friendship. She saw use in Garuda. Her mind already spinning with various ideas for the two. But, at the moment she just wanted to let Garuda grow as a shinobi. Become stronger.

After the boy finished talking and claiming he wouldn't betray Syndra, she would glace at him once more. "We'll do great things. ." Syndra would said in a friendly manner towards Garuda. After a silence swept the room, Garuda would ask "What to talk about now?" She found this somewhat humorous. Garuda wanted to continue and speak to Syndra. Syndra figured why not though? They were going to be allies, which means they should share some type of conversation from time to time.

Syndra would then look at the Iwagakure sky, while looking she would speak to Garuda. "Do you have any close ties with anyone in this village?" Syndra would ask in a casual voice. Curious to if Garuda was close with anyone.

"Hmm I guess I could say I  am close to my father. That probably it since they told me my mom was killed....I get along with must I met but I never really can make an connection with them, it's like most don't understand how I truly feel. That even goes for the squad I am in....I like get along with them and we work well but we aren't really true friends." Garuda would say looking at her and then up at the sky as he continued, mumbling more about what she had asked him. But he would stop when he felt he started making no sense and well she couldn't be able to hear him anymore. He would then turn from the sky and then think if he should ask her the same question, might as well right?"So Syndra. Do you have any close ties to anyone in your village?" Garuda would ask the women.

If Syndra had belong to this village Garuda would have said her name, and it would have been second to his family. As even though he has not really felt love from his father as that man showed his love like the seasons change. He still felt he was close to that man in a way,  and couldn't but help to love him unconditional as he was all Garuda had in the world. As he waited to her what Syndra had to say he would start think if he had any other relationships, well close ties, with anyone else. But sadly he couldn't think of anyone maybe his sensei but that man was obsessed with the teaching of Garuda's mother and couldn't, and shouldn't, be considered someone he had close ties with as that man was truly strange. Garuda admired how he looked up to his mother, as she was his sensei, but how he went about her teaching were all wrong to Garuda.

Syndra

Syndra would nod slightly as the boy spoke. She knew somewhat how he felt, although Syndra's were for different reasons. It wasn't that no one could relate to her, but rather she wouldn't give anyone the chance to. She appeared friendly to her fellow shinobi, but often times did not spill anything personal and didn't make much past required conversations or small talk.
After he spoke, her question was mirrored towards her. "Do I have close ties?" Syndra asked herself in her mind. She couldn't really think of anyone, but of course Kouta. Kouta being her best friend and some what of a lover who saved her life. Flashbacks rammed through her mind of his death and her anger boiled for a moment. She was cold inside. There hasn't been one person on this earth that she has felt a close tie with, besides Kouta. She wondered if she would be different if he never was slayed. He meant the world to her and because of those actions many years ago, she is the person she is now.

After thinking for a moment, she would disperse her thoughts and let them pass while replying to Garuda with a friendly voice. "Not exactly, I've always just been on my own." This wasn't exactly a lie, just she wasn't giving all the information on why. There were hundreds of people in the village who looked up to her and really favored her as a person, but she never really thought of them in that manner. Nor, has she felt compassion for her allies since she was young. She was just pretending to them, pretending to be a good shinobi who helped everyone out. While in the darkest corners of her mind, she felt an wide array of negative emotions.

"You've been on your own? There must be at least someone...what about your parents?." Garuda would ask her as he thought everyone had at least there parent as someone close to them. This thought was built off from how he saw things in his life as he always had at least one of his parent's when little. Even if his father never truly cared for him he was still around. Hopefully this follow up question didn't get to personal, but it shouldn't as there were now friends. But Garuda would understand if she didn't want to speak anymore as people shouldn't have to speak about certain things in their life, even if it was to a friend. The wind would blow again and well it made Garuda a bit cold, as he was only wearing shorts. So he would make his way into the hot spring. He would stay to the edge as he wanted to continue talking to Syndra he just wanted to relax more as he did, they were at the Rock pools or Hot spring. Maybe Syndra had also wanted to relax and get into the spring, but Garuda understood if she didn't want to. Not everyone came to the Rock pools to get into the spring as this place could be enjoyable in other ways, even though Garuda didn't know of those.

Syndra would smirk slightly when he brought up her parents. She couldn't help it. Everyone thought that her parents mysteriously vanished, perhaps kidnapped due to their Senju blood. But, Syndra knew the real truth. A truth she has never told a soul and doesn't plan on doing so yet. Not until she didn't have anything to worry about. So, when the boy asked Syndra about her parents she would just shake her head back and forth slightly in a troublesome manner. "They're history." Syndra claimed in a calm voice.

This doesn't necessarily mean that she did anything to them, but just that they are no longer part of her life. Which the part of them not being part of her life was quite true. Ever since Syndra's lost of Kouta, she never really bonded with her parents. Of course, they always cherished her though. . While they were alive. Before the whole incident with Kouta, she was okay with her parents. She just seemed to grow cold after awhile and their bond dwindled.

Syndra would watch Kouta get into the water, he must have felt more comfortable around her now. Which was good, trust was needed between the two. Although, Syndra had no intentions of getting into the water. It just wasn't her thing.
After Kouta got into the water, Syndra would stretch slightly before asking another question.
"What rank are you in this village?" She would ask curiously. Curious to where he stood in the village at the moment.

"My rank?"Garuda would tap his chin for a second, honestly forgetting what he was. "I'm a Chunnin. I recently passed the Chunnin exams...even though I did most of the work carrying us to victory. What about you?" Garuda would asks her a question after given an answer like he usually did when she asked him something. He honestly would have asked what she mean't about saying "They're history" but since she asked a question he would just forget it. Garuda wouldn't usually tell someone his rank, even if the belonged to the village, but since Syndra was his friend he plan on keeping things from her if she wanted to know. Even if such thinking shouldn't be given out. Garuda was truly young and if he held important information he could easily give it up to Syndra. In truth rank to Garuda was something he really cared much about as it mean't a lot in this world, as those with a higher rank meant they had more power and also deserved respect from those under them. Maybe one day Garuda could reach a higher rank then he was, the position of Kage not in his mind, something that can use his skills to the best of their abilities.

Syndra would smile slightly when hearing about the chuunin exams. The chuunin exams were a tough thing, she has proctored one in her life time and she saw quite a bit of death in it. She always thought it was humorous that we send children from every village to slaughter each other in hopes to bond with other villages. It never made much sense to her.
Garuda would then ask Syndra the same question. She figured he would. Syndra has been a Jounin for quite some time now, doing quite a bit of the village. Garuda probably assumed she was high ranking due to the fact that she was wandering a foreign village with the escort of others at the moment. When lower ranking shinobi go to foreign villages, they are kept in eye sight of their teachers or mentors.

"I'm a jounin, also a head medical shinobi in the village." Syndra would claim, these being the titles she was given the village of Konohagakure. Garuda most likely wasn't even aware that Syndra had medical skills until she claimed so, since she didn't display so in the battle. He most likely has yet to seen a medical ninja in battle, considering that's quite a rare thing.

"Head medical shinobi!?!?" Garuda said surprised at that as he didn't expect her to be such a person, he thought she was strictly combat. Garuda just thought since you bet him so easily that is all she did was train her combat abilities and nothing else, but damn I guess she can do some medical jutus. "So you could have beat me using something other then ninjutsu?" Garuda would ask as he had never fought anyone who could have used medical ninjutsu, as if she used it on him she would have been his first. This women, Syndra, was amazing indeed as she to Garuda should be considered someone with great power. Man he just wants to get stronger and stronger now as he wishes to one day rival the power Syndra has, even though she hasn't shown him much. But still he just knew from the the first time she stopped his attack she had power, as no one has eve done that to him before.

Syndra would chuckle at the shock in his voice. She found it funny. Syndra did come off as ruthless quite often, and was often times bypassed as being thought of as medical ninja. Although, she was one of the best in the Land of Fire.
"You sound so shocked." Syndra sound, in a humorous voice. Syndra would smile slightly at the boy and then look up at the sky to see the lightness fading from the day. She had been here longer that she thought. She would face back to Garuda, who was in the water of the nice springs.
"Garuda, I have to get back to my group to head back to the Leaf. But, remember out promise. I'll be back at some point to come visit you and check on you. My village trusts me quite a bit, so I can leave often. Take care Garuda." As she said this, a small flower sprouted out of the ground in front of her. It was very lotus like, the flower appeared fully grown even though sprouting right there and had a white blossom. It was a parting gift from Syndra, till the next time they met. Which wouldn't be too long. Syndra hoped Garuda would keep to his word, but if he didn't. She would most likely have to cut him down. Which she didn't want to do. She was very interested in Garuda and valued him as an ally.
"Till next time." Syndra said with a smile as she turned to face away from Garuda while walking away. Her long white hair swaying behind her with every step. She was sure that Garuda and her met for a reason. She hoped he would be able to aid her in her goals. She hoped they would remain allies.

"Until next time!" Garuda would yell to her as he watched till she was out of sight. After that he would get out of the pool and walk over to the flower that she grew. He would bend over and start to uproot the flower, making sure not to damage it. It would seem this things could be a parting gift left by her; so Garuda decided he would take it home and keep it till it died. As he held the flower close to him he would begin to walk out of the Rock pools. Today was a very interesting day and also a very important one, as it would mostly like be one of the reason Garuda would want more power.
