Raphael stood waiting for his sparring partner. He looked around as the Academy students stood around him. He could hear what they were saying about him, but Raphael did not care. "He is the same age as us, what makes him think he can teach us anything?" Raphael sighed and continued waiting for his opponent. "I mean look at him he's so small. Hahaha!"

Finding himself amid the markets Vegas had his hands folded over his chest, fists balled so no one would see what he had spent his ryo purchasing from the Land of Rocks. Sure it was a fundamental part of his clan's combat specialties, but who wanted to see mouths on the palms of a hand? Disgusting, right? Vegas didn't think so, not to the extent as others had to his thought. With a pouch to his side held an immense amount of white clay that would be the sole reason for the hand-mouths. There were some good fruits and other foods on stands all about, with various price ranges too expensive for Vegas to buy at the moment. He shrugged at this, and simply made his way to where he was to spar a Genin, for some reason by the Academy Board. Finding the child Vegas stood in his usual attire, arms folded over his chest with lighting discharge emanating from his body rather intimidatingly.

"Are you the Genin I have to spar?"

Raphael had been day dreaming about the chunin exams when a large man approached him asking if he was the genin that the man was supposed to spar. Raphael simply nodded to the mans question. Raphael's hand sat in his jacket pockets as he gracefully jumped backwards about 5 yards. Raphael began to analyze the man's body and body type. He began to figure that the man used Taijutsu with a possible mix of ninjutsu. Raphael didn't expect to win against a jounin, but he was going to be a push over, he had the reputation as a Uchiha to think about.

Keeping a serious face that never showed any sign of delight or easiness was as easy as breathing for Vegas who, with his fists still balled up, placed his arms to his side, his coat over his torso like a flowing cape of sheer awesomeness and form. As if by willing himself to do so, his body began to ripple with more electric discharge, signalling for the boy to initiate his attack. Vegas would simply walk to the boy ever so slowly, the intimidation of a man of his height and size rippling with electricity seeming too lethal for the human body to handle to be taken into consideration. His eyes were still their soft blue/gray colors, but his seriousness never faded away. He stood seven yards from the child when he stepped back, but now Vegas was advancing one foot per step, electricity gathering at his fists.

"Show me the strength of the Genin of Konohagakure. It is you who will be the future leaders of this world."

The mans attempt to intimidate Raphael fell short. Raphael closed his eyes and slowly opened them. His three tomoe sharingan would appear in his eyes. Raphael refuswed to ever be intimidated by anyone he didn't care if it was his Ancestor Madara or even if it was the First Hokage himself. Raphael would never show fear. The wind began to blow causing Raphaels jacket to shake in the wind. The expression of Raphael's face was calm and blank, but the look in his eyes was the look of power, the look of a Hokage who was seasoned and on in the years. Raphael was a true Uchiha. He stood in place a reading the mans body movements as he began to stepped towards the man at the same pace as he walked towards Raphael.

Three-tomoed Sharingan...

Reaching five feet from the boy his hands would fly at some obscene speed, forming a single hand-seal, the Clone Seal. The nature of such speed was probably a blend of Vegas' own Mastery of Ninjutsu or the lightning that forever stayed to his body, but nonetheless the seal was performed, and as if by the will of God a clone appeared beside Vegas, running for the boy at Taijutsu Master speed. Vegas himself stopped in his tracks and let the clone deal with the situation for the time being. The clone would run forth and attempt to deliver a single jab to the boy's stomach. Hopefully, with the given short gap in-between the two the clone should make his jab hit, but either way if the clone was damaged it would release itself, electrocuting the boy in a non-lethal manner. However, it would be quite the painful shock either way. Genin or not, Vegas had to realize that this child was in the possession of a seasoned, mature Sharingan. Noting this, the Jounin simply waited to see what more could be done.

Raphael would form the hand sign at the same time as the man. Clone Raphael would wait until the last second to turn his body to dodge the punch to the gut. Seeing as how the clone of the man had to bend just to punch Raphael in the stomach Clone Raphael would send a squared upper cut to the chin of the clone. Raphael had jumped back in the instance all this had happened. He was about 5 yards away from the man again.

Watching this child's quick movements made Vegas realize the kid's Sharingan gave him quite the advantage in this predicament. The Lightning Release clone had narrowly missed, with the boy's clone going in for the hit. However, even with such mastery of the Sharingan Vegas hoped that the clone couldn't prepare for an attack from a Taijutsu Mastery so close to its being. Vegas' clone spun slightly just as the boy's clone came to hit. The Lightning Release clone would place a hand on the ground, as if springboarding itself, and simply land a strong roundhouse kick into the boy's clone's abdomen. With the power of the kick it would cancel the clone, but only if the attack had made its mark.

"Tell me, young one. What is your nindo?"

Rapharl read the mans movements. From the moment Vegas had spun Raphael waited until he blinked to move close with great speed. So when the kick connnected with the clone Raphael was in the air diectly in front of vegas and began to send a two punch combo to the head of Vegas. Raphael was pushing himself to the limit. He still did not expect to win, but was trying his hardest. He light spoke on his nindo, not sure if Vegas could even hear him. "Redemption is not perfection. The redeemed must realize their imperfections...No one is perfect including my clan we have made our fair share of mistakes but we are constantly redeeming ourselves everyday."

The Genin would seemingly pounce upon him, lunging at the incredible height of 6'9" in such a short time that Vegas was only the more impressed by what he had witnessed in this child. However, with speed to match this child's own, Vegas performed the seal for the Body Flicker and flickered five meters to the right, the same time his clone running towards the Uchiha and attempting an attack similar to the Dynamic Entry ability, albeit a bit faster, due to the close range the boy had with the clone from moving that distance to attack the Kazama. Hearing the child's nindo he smiled greatly, which soon faded away as the serious tone of the mood quickly assumed its role again, the spar the main focus at the time being.

Raphael wasn't suprised when Vegas had disappeared. His eyes darted to the side when another clone of the Vegas came hurdling towards him. Raphael would spin in the air to dodge the attack from the clone then proceed to send a kick towards the clones head. Something inside of Raphael bubbled up to the surface. "You see I'm afraid of being weak...not being able to do anything when the time comes. This is why I fight. This is why I train so hard. This is what makes a me a uchiha." Raphael said looking Vegas in the eyes. "I will never show fear to anyone."

The kick connected and sent the cloning flying. Just then the bell for the Academy to be let out rang. Raphael deactivated his sharingan. He then turned and without a word to Vegas left. Raphael had completed enough missions now he would go back to training.
