Early Sunday morning, a time when most of Sunagakure’s population had not awakening from their slumber, Sunday being the perfect time to catch a couple more hours of sleep before beginning the long day. Yuudai would know because he would had been one of those many people that were sleeping in, if it weren’t for the duties that could only be done whilst the majority of the population was asleep, thus off the streets of Suna. He had been tasked with cleaning the streets of Sunagakure just last night, said streets having been overrun with litter in the likes, something that should never be seen by the likes of outsiders. Sunagakure may be located in a sandy country, but that didn’t mean the streets should look anything less than stellar.

He sighed deeply ass he shoved another piece of newspaper into the garbage bag he was lugging around, it having obviously strayed from its group. Straightening himself up, he walked over to the stack of very old newspaper that no one had bothered to recycle, throw away, or even burn. He huffed irritably behind his mask as he bent down, grabbing the stack of papers by the worn string that kept them in a bundle, or at least attempted to do so, and shoved it into the garbage bag. He would soon need to get another bag, his current one looking quite full and he didn’t want to overstuff it, fearing that the plastic would tear and allow the litter to spill back onto the street for him to pick up once again.

The simple thought of having to restart the task because he hadn’t felt the need to get another bag made Yuudai cringe. He hadn’t the time to go back to recollect trash, for the residents of the village would soon stir, and the streets would be filled to the brim with the masses. The work needed to be done before than, or he could forget about being paid for his hard labor as well as know that his Sunday morning had been wasted doing this rather than sleeping in. He sighed deeply, wiping the sweat from his forehead before proceeding to tie the garbage, making sure that the knot formed was not loose, before carrying it down the street.

The bag was discarded in a dumpster, and wiped his sweaty palms on his pants. Yuudai glanced at the slow rising sun, the moon removing itself from the sky. He probably only had an hour left. That would be enough time to clean up the final street, which just so happened to be the street he took residence on. Not a coincidence, just the way he had set up his route. So, without further ado, he walked onto his street though not before he retrieved another garbage bag.

With a final sigh, Yuudai once again began to pick up the litter that plagued the streets, albeit there wasn’t as much trash on this street compared to the others, he being lucky to live amongst those who wanted to uphold the beauty of their community. So he finished his street quickly, quite pleased with himself as he lugged the last garbage into the dumpster. He made a show to wipe his hands once again upon his pants before pulling a pair of gloves from his jacket pockets and slipping them on. And since he had extra time before people were to spill out of their homes, he went home to catch up on some much needed rest.
