Mission Description:
Word Count Required: 2000

Today Shinji was on his multi task grind. He was tired of always having empty pockets and decided he was really going to get some money. Pulling out a scroll from his pocket he looked at the list of things to do. Gotta fight the dojo master again, but this time . . . a total of three times?! Oh this will be interesting. He lightly chuckled, then proceeded down the stretched paper. Grave robbers . . . not these idiots again. He rubbed his temples as he recalled his last run in with the bunch. It more than likely wasn't the same group though. Considering one was now missing an arm, one had a fractured skull, and the other rotting in prison with his cronies. Hmm, this grave site must really have something important. He shook off his fleeting mind of possible perpetrators, continuing with his agenda. His face grew a smile, that he tried to conceal. I will be sure to save that for last, I hope they don't mind tardiness. He was happy to see he had gained a second chance to teach the young kids, this time at a field day event. He was glad to see his day had the potential to end on a good note. To the Dojo! He exclaimed launching a single finger, as if swarm of troops would charge.

Upon arriving he walked out back, to where they had last sparred and where he sensed a couple of chakra signatures. Heyo! He waved walking around the corner. Everyone bowed and Shinji did the same. Wasting no time he was tossed a wooden blade and the battle commenced. Shinji instantly went of the offense, jumping over head with a horizontal slash. Using a bit of chakra to enhance his blow, he noticed something was off. The dojo master had assumed a block stance, but held a smirk on his face. Upon the blades clashing Shinji's snapped right in half. Looks like you have been upper handed. The dojo master snarled. Not exactly. Shinji followed through with a shattered blade and made a thrust into the confident opponents gut. I think that round belongs to me yah? Shinji smirked as the dojo master, gestured Shinji to be tossed another blade. Round two.

Upon the blade being caught no time was wasted on the dojo masters behalf. Shinji blocked, then again, then again, until he found himself approaching the edge of the ring. Easily ducking under the onslaught of wooden blows, Shinji leaped and attempted a spinning sword swipe in mid air. It was similar to a round house kick, but obviously with a sword. To Shinji's surprise the dojo master's reflexes seemed to have been better and the attack was quickly blocked. Poncho smirked then paced back to find the center of the ring again.

Seems like you still have a few tricks, nice to know. Shinji then assumed a crouched Kendo stance, it was a tease, but also to show he does know swordsmanship basics. A slight gasp waved through the standing by students. A beast attempting to tame himself . . . ha! The dojo master again took no time to charge again. Shinji could see the attack unfolding right now and stuck to Kendo basics. Reeling back his blade to counter, with precise timing, a bit of chakra, and a sharp expel of breathe, Shinji brought his blade down and shattered the enemy's now useless sword. Making sure he wouldn't be countered like he had did the first round to the dojo master, he shifted his weight forward out of the Kendo stance and pivoted ready, for a follow up attack. Luckily there wasn't one and the dojo master, accepted his lost for round two.

Last and final round and tension was on its peak. The dojo master had been beaten twice already. Yes he had gotten better with each round, so Shinji was excited to see what he would bring to the table this one. The dojo master was then tossed not one, but two blades. You aren't the only one, who knows how to stray from the path of Kendo! He exclaimed assuming a dual wielding stance. Shinji was in utter disbelief and as he looked around he was the only one. The students didn't seem surprised at all. Shinji then sighed as he had no idea of the hidden talent. 'Oh Well' he thought to himself. A student then called for the match to start and both, Shinji and the dojo master, went at it tooth and nail. Power obviously would decide this battle, it was all about strength and skill right now. Sadly the dojo master was displaying his excellently. Shinji could barely track his movements and had taken a couple of blows, while the dojo master was untouched. Shit Shinji performed a flipping maneuver to emerge out of the range of the danger zone. Failure, the dojo master, was already heading his way as he peered up. Delivering a fierce blow powerful enough to destroy the earth. He what are you trying to kill me?! Shinji yelled at the edge of the ring.

Here it was the end, Shinji had no more back space and the dojo master knew it. He approached in a calm walking fashion gripping his two blades tightly. Too bad I don't go out like a bitch huh? Shinji stubbornly charged not accepting defeat like a coward. Dragging his wooden blade towards the ground, Shinji swung before he was in the targets range, launched dirt dust and rocks into his face. Blinded biatch! Taking advantage of his opponent nursing his eyes, Shinji slammed his blade against the dojo masters arm. Breaking bone and probably hospitalizing the poor fellow. It was the least he could do after, he had bruised Shinji up pretty badly. Let it be known that I beat you three times in a row, on this day! Shinji pointed an explosive finger at the cowering and defeated target, before making his statement. He then bowed and headed off, leaving his students to tend to their master.

Now to deal with some petty grave robbers . . . again. Shinji sighed and dropped his head. Why would they idiotically attack the same site the others did. He was pretty sure word would travel about the misfortune they had suffered and now the same would be done to them. Trudging along through Kirigakure's misty woods, Shinji noticed his hand was still firmly gripped on the wooden blade. Whoops . . . well I'm pretty sure they have more of them . . . considering that guy was dual wielding, they probably have a shit ton more . . . hmmm. Shinji began to dwell on the principles and ideas of dual wielding while he walked sluggishly though the giant oaken trees.

Step . . . drag . . . kick. Finally the sound of his steps changed from grassy, to dirty rock. He had arrived at the cursed mountain. Not even after journeying for five minutes, he heard muffled chatter. They were sadly about to be caught in the act like the others. Shinji sighed and peeked up, only revealing his hair and eyes. He tried not to burst out into laughter as he saw it was the same three. On with bandages around his skull, the other wearing a jacket hiding his missing limb, and the only normal one over seeing production. Shinji had not an ounce of fear in his body. Hello fellas He simply said to his good old cronies. They turned and disbelief overcame their faces. So how are we going to do this, exchange punishments, orrrr what? Shinji imagined letting the armless idiot suffer some major head damage , taking off the normal ones arm, and letting the bandaged fool off scot free. I told you we should have at least waited a couple days! We had just snook out you idiot! A shrug was given to the words. Shinji then cleared his throat demanding attention. Looks were exchange and in a group they all submitted.

Good so fill in that whole and lets get going. Shinji smiled and they got to work. Upon finishing the were escorted back to Kirigakure's prison.

Exhausted as hell from his recent escapades, Shinji was searching for some good 'ol relaxation. Lets see, what is there to do in the village. Shinji wasn't one to go out much, so he wasn't sure of the villages attractions and activities. Truthfully if a tourist were to ask the Genin, who had spent all of his life in the cursed village, what a cool place to visit was, he would be dumbfounded. He hadn't friends to drag him along on midnight get away's and he lived alone so he wasn't in touch with his siblings.

Eventually dwelling in his mind made him slightly depressed. He had just noticed how lonely his life was, that he was just another face with a better than decent set of clothes in a swarming sea of people. He let loose a deep bone weary sigh, but then rebounded. How about instead of getting sad about it, I do something and meet someone! He exclaimed, turning the heads of a few people walking by. Hehe sorry.

With a new boost of confidence, Shinji strolled into a local eatery, their specialty many variations of stir-fry and ramens. Shinji's eyes widened as he gazed at the foods and his mouth became monstrously moist from the alluring scent. Why had he not eaten here before! You could even sit at the table and watch as the chef prepared your food. Shinji was super excited until he though to himself how much this would cost. Certainly this luxury didn't come cheap and with the wages he earned as a Genin he certainly would have to make adjustments to other necessities.

He approached the counter slightly nervous, expecting the price to be way beyond his budget. Hello ma'am ummm I was wondering what your guy's least expensive meal on the menu was hehe. He nervously chuckled and scratched his head with a faint smile on his face. Oh Genin eat free every Friday, so come on in and enjoy a meal sweetie. Shinji's face lit up in a mixed expression of disbelief and a little blush. He knew the hostess didn't mean anything by sweetie, but he couldn't help it. Ohh thank you so much! He eagerly follow the lady, until he arrived at a bar stool. There he would be served a full course meal free of charge. He couldn't believe it. Peeking around while his food was being prepared he had saw a small group of Genin eating at a table. His stomach had dropped, for it was time for his words to be put to the test.

He cursed under his breath and realized he was outnumbered one to five. He had no clue on how to approach the gang of friends . . . where they friends . . .? What if they weren't, what if they were actually arguing about something, . . . or assigned to be together but hated it . . .? Shinji's mind was flooding with thoughts and fear. Until *clank clank*. His plate piping hot had arrived and was ready to be devoured. Shinji was relieved for the moment, but knew he would still have to cross that bridge. He sighed and began to eat. Ox-Tail soup, steamed Rice, and one order of beef sticks. Shinji can't remember the last time he had eaten like this . . . or if he even had before. It was safe to say, he looked ridiculous and as if he had no home training while stuffing his face.

Hey A girlish voice chimed, catching Shinji's ears. He figured he wasn't being talked to, because he didn't know anyone, so why would be approached. After about five seconds from the first 'Hey' another was sent. Shinji this time looked over his shoulder, to see who was being spoken to and who was speaking. Mouth still bulging with food, he was welcomed by a girl around his age who had dark hair and was mildly attractive. Shinji immediately forced his food painfully down his throat and responded. Hi, did you need something? Shinji inquired, as if she was going to ask for some spare silverware. Well I don't neeeed anything, but me and my friends were wondering if you wanted to join us at our table, seeing that you are eating alone. She waved a hand to the two purposely empty seats beside him and he became slightly embarrassed. 'But wait, she was inviting me to sit with her and her friends?!' Shinji peeked over her shoulder and saw the group of Genin staring back, he instantly returned the position of his head. Sure I guess hehe. He gathered up his items and followed the girl to the table with her friends.

He sat down an scanned each of their faces 3 girls including the one who invited him and 2 guys, Shinji himself making 3. After a quick introduction, Shinji forced himself to conversate. It was a little rough at first, but eventually he eased into it. Unnoticeable to Shinji, time had rolled by and eventually only him and the group remained in the restaurant. The owner eventually got them to leave and they loitered outside for a moment. Shinji had really enjoyed his night and didn't expect to have such a blast. It was truly a breath of fresh air. Each eventually headed off on their way home and Shinji luckily got to walk home with the girl who invited him to the table. He wasn't the slickest bastard out there, but he surprisingly pulled off a couple sly comments and even got a blush.

He decided to walk her home with it being rather late and with Kirigakure's notorious midnight gang activity, so upon her arriving home safely he earned a viciously tight hug. Not having high expectations, he was happy with that and strolled home with a gigantic smile on his face.

He was eagerly welcomed by Gilliam, who was happy to chow down on some left overs, as Shinji cleaned up ad went to bed.
