Mission:

Downtown Kirigakure. Where culture, business, and crime blend to form the heart of the Hidden Mist's nightlife, but the "nightlife" wasn't the focus of Erwin's current visit. No, he was here to drag a pitiful soul that the night had spat out and left behind back to reality, a Chuunin by the name of Azrael. Apparently he had failed to report in for his shift this morning after "partying" all night night long in The Rouge Bar, which made it his third related offense this month. The Rouge Bar was renown for it's "less than lawful" crowd, bringing into question Azrael's judgement behind choosing it as his most frequented stop after work. There was the possibility that he had criminal connections and The Rouge Bar was where they met to talk business. There was also the possibility that they simply had the strongest drinks in town. Either way it was a damn shame for a member of Kirigakure's shinobi forces, let alone a Chuunin officer, to be seen "mingling" with the denizens within.

This mission also had a secondary purpose, Erwin was to observe how well a Genin by the name of Zevas handled himself on this sort of mission. Apparently there were some rumors about Zevas enjoying the "wild side" of life, nothing serious, but all it takes is one step down the wrong path and someone could be fishing him out of a place like The Rouge Bar. This mission could serve as a deterrent for such an action being necessary in the future. "Thank you." Erwin said in a relaxed and grateful tone as he accepted a foam cup of black coffee from an elderly woman running a small drink cart before continuing down the lightly crowded street he was on. It was a little after 9:00 pm, people that were on the streets at this hour were either working, on their way to work, or taking the walk of shame after a night of partying while mulling over some regrettable decisions they made the night before.

Erwin paused as he reached the nearest intersection, surveying the area briefly before leaning against the outside corner of the building on the corner. He was dressed rather casually despite the fact that he was on a mission, but that was to blend in with the crowd. He was wearing a white dress shirt with no undershirt, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and the top two buttons left unfastened; which was tucked into a pair of simple blue slacks that in turn were tucked into a pair of black boots. With the addition of the blades hanging from his waist, mainly his sabre, and his eye patch Erwin took on the visual persona of a seasoned sailor that may or may not be a pirate. He also bore no visible insignia of the Kirigakure shinobi, which would be counter productive if he was going to enter a bar well known for it's criminal activity without any sort of difficulties. The particular corner Erwin was leaning against was only a few blocks away from The Rouge Bar, and the meeting place he had passed on to Zevas via shinobi courier. Erwin specified that they should meet at 9:30 pm, but he arrived a little early to see whether or not this Genin would do the same, or at least arrive on time. Punctuality was a nice trait to have.

Being wasted was all Azrael could think of at the moment. He didn't feel very swell or fine without some vodka in his veins, and there was some good reason to. His wife Mizore had finally walked out on him, and after all the amazing sex he gave her she still was going on and on about "settling down" and "having children". Azrael was not going to have another minute of it, and settled himself right in the midst of a bar not too far from where he lived. It didn't take him too long before he was hammered completely, and with a bottle of Jaegermeister in his hand he began to shout and slur and grab asses and take the hands of women and shove them in his pants. "Yea baby, show Big Daddy what dem hands do."

The night sky in Kiri was darker than usual, the moon now in a new moon phase, completely missing from the sky. Zevas had taken a mission with another kiri genin, and had received a letter from the boy stating a place to be to do recon. Zevas wondered why the other boy was taking charge, but he wasnt going to let it bother him, the boy must have had leadership issues. Zevas had put on his normal garb, as it wouldnt make a difference to where he was going. He traveled a lot to all the bars in kiri, his main reason to see the girls, his other reason was to keep an eye on things. Shop owners knew him but kept his name on the down low, keeping him somewhat a secret. Zevas preferred it that way, he had his sources and they kept their mouth's shut. If they didnt, well Zevas had a lot of dirt on the people in kiri they he could accidentally let slip to the right people, or the wrong people for those he spilled the information. Zevas donned his sunglasses left, even though it was at night. People might wonder why he did so, but he had a secret himself.

Zevas left his home and proceeded to head towards the rogue bar. Zevas climbed up a pole, swinging around it as he propelled himself to the roof of the nearest building. He jumped to the next roof, grumbling to himself as he fell down towards the next roof, landing on a clothes line, and with his ninja reflexes, slinged forward off of it, doing a back flip in the air, and landing on the next roof. He slid over some vent in the roof, and fell off the building. One watching would assume that he had fallen to his death or had missed a step somewhere. On the contrary, Zevas had grabbed onto a pole, and swung himself through an open window feet first. He flew through it, causing a breeze to follow him. A woman was topless inside the room, obviously in th middle of dressing. Zevas looked at her as he passed, things moving in what seemed to be slow motion. Her breasts were mere inches from his face, and he saw her open her mouth to scream. By the time any sound had left her mouth Zevas was already out the other window, grinning, and continuing on his way to the rogue bar. That little instance just made his night slightly better.

Zevas landed on the roof of a shop silently, crouching there as he looked around. He was at the meeting spot, but he couldnt see Erwin, the other genin that he was supposed to meet. Placing a hand to his head as a certain thought arose to his mind, Zevas looked down at the corner of the building, noticing a boy dressed in frilly clothes. Zevas chuckled to himself as he grabbed onto a nearby flag pole, sliding down it silently and landing beside the other genin. Zevas himself was early, and he wondered how long the other genin would be there. He noticed the boy had a cup of coffee in his hand and laughed. He remembered the vicious old woman who had tricked him before, giving him a cup of coffee spiked with a drug that would give him the shits later on that night. He really hoped the woman had a change of heart or that boy would be having a rough night at home with a lack of sleep.

"Well, i guess you must be Erwin. Pleased to meet you."

Zevas spoke in a hushed tone as he looked over at the bar, enjoying the new opportunity to put his new eye to the test. He heard a commotion going on inside the bar, hearing a familiar voice come from inside. It was one the girls he 'saw' on a regular basis. She yelled something about letting her go and someone being a perv. The memories floated into Zevas' mind as she first said that to him, but he was able to win her over. Zevas chuckled, looking back at the genin.

"Alright, i'll scout the bar from here, then let you know what is going on and who is where. Im sure the chuunin is the man who is drinking the most and being the most touchy feely. After that we will go in and remove him, at any means necessary. If you prefer talking it out ill let you try, if not then we are gonna have to get a little dirty."

Erwin quietly sipped his coffee, observing the entrance to the Rouge Bar in the the distance while he waited for his charge. As usual there were a few "less than productive" members of society gathered outside the doors, and certainly far more inside. The Rouge Bar was a veritable cesspool of criminals that either belonged to a different country or were too small-time to warrant much attention from Kirigakure's shinobi forces. Personally Erwin would rather raze the place along with any criminal organization connected to it, raid their supplies, and extract any useful information through potentially draconian interrogation methods, but that wouldn't be very good for Downtown Kirigakure's economy.

Leaving the bar standing had it's benefits too, potential underground information, an easily reachable location to watch for high value criminals, but he couldn't help but feel that it wasn't how the Land of Iron would handle the place. Then again the Land of Iron had a highly militarized culture, what worked there didn't necessarily work in other countries. The Land of Water was his home now and he'd respect the decisions of his superiors, as long as those decisions were beneficial to the country in some way. Either way now wasn't the time to weigh the benefits and consequences of allowing the Rouge Bar to continue, Erwin was here to drag a sorry representative of the shinobi forces to face the consequences of his actions, and the Mizukage.

Erwin didn't even flinch as Zevas quietly slid down a flag pole to his right, and ahead of schedule on top of that. He was even dressed appropriately to blend into Kirigakure's night crowd, but Erwin was unsure whether or not that was because of the mission or because that was how he normally dressed. He was also unsure why Zevas laughed under his breath as he landed next to him. "Well, I guess you must be Erwin. Pleased to meet you." "Likewise Zevas." Erwin replied in an equally hushed tone, eyeing the bar's entrance as he heard a female's voice shout in response to what was likely a drunken pass at her, possibly by the very man they were here to apprehend.

The light chuckle Zevas let out caused Erwin to briefly raise a questionable eyebrow, not that the kid would notice it, he seemed to be coming out of a small memory sequence. "Alright, I'll scout the bar from here, then let you know what is going on and who is where. I'm sure the Chuunin is the man who is drinking the most and being the most touchy feely. After that we will go in and remove him, at any means necessary. If you prefer talking it out I'll let you try, if not then we are gonna have to get a little dirty." The kid seemed to know what he was doing, it was nice to see youth taking charge, although he wasn't sure what Zevas meant by "scouting" the bar from here. Erwin had planned on using his sensing abilities to retrieve that information himself, but he was curious to see what the kid could do.

"Very well. I planned on giving him one chance to come of his own free will, but if he doesn't, well, like you said. We'll be getting a little 'dirty'."

[NPCING FOR THIS MISSION | NOT USING UP TOPIC QUOTAS | ~Siegfried]

There was something suspicious in the air, and the lofty Chuunin couldn't tell what the fuck it was. He sat back in his bar chair and looked directly into the hanging lights above and gave a drunkard hiccup. The death of his parents also lent him some fuel for his drinking habit. So much was going on in the life of Zancrow Miyazaki that he could not help but simply wonder why the hell things were going so awry in the last few weeks. He never did understand truly why his wife/main bitch Mizore had left him, but none of that was a real concern to him. He had a nice-looking woman sit her fat behind right on his lap, and with that woman seated there he called the shots from his corner and garnered hate from all around.

He did not seem to notice the two shinobi that had entered the establishment, but some of his lesser-liked genin-mooks had taken notice and made a motion to tell him. However, they all suddenly had a ray of realization hit them in the head, wondering why they were in the situation they were in at the moment. They evacuated without another word, leaving Zancrow and the big-breasted and voluptuous female he happened to make his bitch.

The Woman in Particular:

He had a free right hand up her skirt and rubbing those parts that little boys were not meant to know until they turned sixteen or whenever they picked up their first porno magazine. His left hand was a dangerous looking thing, cybernetic in appearance and all. He had lost his real left arm in a fire that he created during jutsu training in the Academy. The prosthetic arm was able to channel fire techniques quite easily on a ready's notice. He seemed content in his current position and with another laugh he slapped the ass of another passing bartender. "Life's good when you're good ol' Zanny!"

Zevas had nodded towards the old man as he seemed to agree to his tactics. Quickly facing towards the bar, Zevas used some chakra to change his vision into a spectrum of colors in his left eye. Akki was now seeing the heat that people gave off, as well as the heat from the surroundings. The coldness of the buildings came off blue and grew in color warmth as the people that walked around and emitted body heat. Zevas scanned the bar, looking for a person who's body heat was the most evenly distributed to start off. Alcohol had the effect of not only lowering inhibitions and dulling the senses, it also dilated the blood cells, causing the body heat to become evenly distributed and lost quickly. Zevas noticed one person in particular, having a woman next to him. The woman's temperature was slightly raised, obviously she was uncomfortable. Zevas noticed people leaving the man as more people walked in. It was easy pickings for Zevas to find the perpetrator.

"He's sitting in a chair near the back of the room. He has a woman with him, one i know quite well. Dont ask please, all i have to say if things dont go easily they definitely will get messy."

Zevas used his chakra again to set his eye back to normal vision, and waited the response from the old man next to him. He wanted to move quickly, he didnt like other men touching the women he had...special bonds with.

As Zevas turned to face the bar Erwin activated his own sensory abilities, he wanted to see just how accurate the kid was, that and he simply liked to double check things for himself when it came to information gathered by people he didn't know. Not that he didn't trust the kid, but it was better to be safe than sorry. "He's sitting in a chair near the back of the room. He has a woman with him, one I know quite well. Don't ask please, all I have to say if things don't go easily they definitely will get messy." Even if the kids taste in women was questionable his information was accurate, but he still wasn't sure how Zevas got this information, the draw on his chakra wasn't as much as the typical sensing technique. Either way Erwin could "see" their target sitting towards the back at the bar counter with a women on his lap. He could also see that their target was giving this woman a little "rub down" so to speak as well as giving another passing waitress a pat on the ass, Zevas's faintly aggravated tone was understandable if the woman on Zancrow's lap was one he knew. However, even though Zevas's information was accurate he failed to see the whole picture. "We may have some unwanted competition." Erwin said quietly as he nodded towards two dressed shinobi that entered the bar, causing some of the people inside to vacate the bar shortly after. Luckily their target was currently unaware but it was only a matter of time until something spooked him. Erwin was unsure why these shinobi were there, as far as he knew Zevas and himself were the only ones on this mission, but he wouldn't put it past a man like Zancrow to make some enemies within the ranks, providing they were actually shinobi and not imposters.

"We should move quickly. When I confront him I want you to be somewhere between him and the nearest exit. Try to blend in, that way you can catch him off guard if he tries to escape. Keep an eye on those two as well while you're in there." Speaking in a hushed tone Erwin relayed his plan to Zevas before moving towards the bar, passing the unsightly rabble outside without so much as a questionable glance, it seemed his disguise was working so far. Not many people would be willing to risk provoking someone that looked like a seasoned pirate by looking at them in any sort of "odd" manner, especially when that man was armed and rather muscular. Quietly Erwin approached the AWOL Chuunin, attempting to stay in the man's blind spot while blending in with the few people that were left, poised to strike at any moment should he be spotted and cause his target to run. He waited briefly for Zevas to get into position before approaching the Chuunin, who appeared to have some sort of mechanical left arm. With his right hand "occupied" this made Zancrow an easy target should he resist, Erwin could sever that mechanical arm off in the blink of an eye and he wouldn't have to worry about cleaning up the mess later. With his left hand poised over his sabre, which was hanging from his right waist, Erwin silently placed his right hand on Zancrow's left shoulder to both startle him and get his attention.

"Zancrow I presume?" He would open with a fairly friendly tone and a smile on his face. "It seems I've been sent here to collect you, I suggest you come quietly before you need more than one prosthetic. Erwin started in the same friendly tone, but switched to a deadly serious one with a rather grim face to match halfway through his sentence. Hopefully the Chuunin was sober enough to know the face of his superior, one known for brutal efficiency at that, and hopefully that would be enough to sober him up and get him to comply peacefully. If he made any sort of hostile movement whatsoever Erwin wouldn't hesitate to sever the man's prosthetic arm off with the style his people are best known for, Iaido. Of course this is all providing he wasn't spotted or interrupted on the way through the bar, you never know what can happen in the Rouge Bar.

Zancrow saw the man that named himself Erwin touch his shoulder, the Chuunin void of all fears and fright which was brought upon by the intoxication by alcohol. The real Zancrow, had he not been so drunk, would have most likely complied with the man and walked along to pay atonement for his sins. However, the alcohol had him fucked up pretty badly, and his sense of judgement was shot down for the time being until the alcohol left his body. He realized the threat that was initiated and watched everyone around him look in fear. He could have burned the entire place down, but he did now know the extent of Erwin's true powers. Something told him to attack and run, but the little bit of his conscious won, and he turned himself in. "Alright, alright you got me. Just don't damage this prosthetic arm. It's practically a bomb..."

Zevas was pleased with the outcome, watching as Erwin calmly got the chuunin to turn himself in. Still, Zevas kept his distance, just in case. He followed the pair out of the bar, walking along the dark streets. Time to turn the man in. Zevas followed the two to the kage's office, turning in the drunkard. He would have to deal with the consequences for his actions.

"Alright, alright you got me. Just don't damage this prosthetic arm. It's practically a bomb..." Honestly Erwin didn't expect it to be quite that easy, and he still didn't for that matter, but this was turning out to be a pretty cut and dry apprehension. Keeping his left hand perched on his sabre's handle Erwin nodded for the Chuunin to head out of the bar, he was expecting him to make a run for it at any moment so he kept himself on guard. Should the "...practically a bomb..." comment actually be true Erwin decided that should Zancrow try anything he'd just try to cut it off at the base of the prosthetic where it connects to his flesh, a little messier but nothing he couldn't heal before the dunkard bled out, Unless of course that drunkard continued to resist, unlikely as that may be.

As he passed Zevas Erwin motioned for the Genin to follow behind and keep an eye out should Zancrow or anyone else attempt anything. It was a fair distance to the Mizukage's Administration Building but nothing out of the ordinary happened, giving the Chuunin ample time to mull over his actions as he sobered up before facing the metaphorical "firing squad". Once they finally arrived at the Kage's Building Erwin handed the A.W.O.L. Chuunin over to a couple of the Mizukage's A.N.B.U. to be taken up to the Kage's office for a personal "meeting". He then accompanied Zevas to the mission payout desk and out of the Administration Building, bidding the Genin farewell before returning home for the night.
